The accelerators should be properly designed to make the radiation field produced by beam loss satisfy the dose limits. The radiation field for high intensity H- cyclotron includes prompt radiation and residual radiation field. The induced radioactivity in accelerator components is the dominant source of occupational radiation exposure if the accelerator is well shielded. The source of radiation is the beam loss when cyclotron is operating. In this paper, the radiation field for CYCIAE-100 is calculated using Monte Carlo method and the radioactive contamination near stripping foil is studied. A method to reduce the dose equivalent rate of maintenance staff is also given.  相似文献

A method of fast design and fabrication for bass-relief micro-profiles is developed by using an analytic formulation to determine the exposure distribution. Based on an equivalent exposure threshold model, the formulation is simplified for the case of bass-relief profile corresponding to the smaller exposure dose. The mask function for a microlens array is designed without iteration involved by the analytic formulation. The experiment is performed to validate the method, and the fabrication result is obtained with the profile error less than 30nm (rms).  相似文献

A two-flux radiation model of the helical instability of arcs in axial magnetic field is presented. The temperature (and electrical conductivity) is approximated in a more realistic way (parabolic instead of flat profile) and a simplified term of radiation losses is included in the energy equation. The magnetohydrodynamic equations in an electrostatic approximation serve as the starting point of the theorv. Using a linear time-dependent perturbation theory, the corresponding equations and an explicit analytic expression that corresponds to the term of radiation losses are derived in the presence of the radiation transfer energy, from which the marginal Maecker number and the growth rate of the helical instability can be given. It is found that, in comparison with the results without radiation, the arc stable area is reduced.  相似文献

Truncation manipulation is a simple but effective way to improve the intensity distribution properties of the phase-locked Gaussian beam array at the receiving plane. In this paper, the analytical expression for the propagation of the phase-locked truncated Gaussian beam array in a turbulent atmosphere is obtained based on the extended Huygens--Fresnel principle. Power in the diffraction-limited bucket is introduced as the beam quality factor to evaluate the influence of different truncation parameters. The dependence of optimal truncation ratio on the number of beamlets, the intensity of turbulence, propagation distance and laser wavelength is calculated and discussed. It is revealed that the optimal truncation ratio is larger for the laser array that contains more lasers, and the optimal truncation ratio will shift to a larger value with an increase in propagation distance and decrease in intensity of atmosphere turbulence. The optimal truncation ratio is independent of laser wavelength.  相似文献

To reduce the walk-off angle of the extraordinary third-harmonic ultraviolet wave at 355 nm generated by type ⅡKTiOPO_4 and type I β-BaB_2O_4 optical crystals,and the Gaussian output beam of a Q-switched Nd:YAG laser,a simple theoretical model was developed based on a rotatable BK7 plate of variable thickness.By rotating the plate up to 35°along the beam direction,we reduced the walk-off angle up to ~ 13%.The same phenomenon is predicted by the model,confirming the performance of the model.It is found that,due to the walk-off effect,the intensity profile of the thirdharmonic generation beam is slightly degraded.To compensate for the observed phenomena and further reduce the walkoff,we used a combination of a convex lens and an axicon to transform the beam profile of the interacting fundamental and second-harmonic generation waves to the zero-order Bessel-Gaussian form.As a result,the walk-off is decreased to~ 48.81 mrad,providing ~ 30%relative reduction.By using the same BK7 plate rotated up to 35° along the third-harmonic beam direction,the walk-off angle is further reduced to 38.9 mrad.Moreover,it is observed that the beam profile of the emerged Bessel-Gaussian third-harmonic generation beam remains unchanged with no degradation.  相似文献

The second-order and fourth-order statistical moments of the speckle field from a diffuse target in atmospheric turbulence are studied which have great influence on the performance of lidar systems. By expanding a general rotationally symmetric beam as a sum of Gaussian–Schell model(GSM) beams, the mean intensity of the general beam propagating over a distance in an atmospheric turbulence is formulated. Expressions for the degree of coherence(DOC) and the normalized intensity variance of the scattered field of a general beam from a rough surface in turbulence are derived based on the extended Huygens–Fresnel principle. The general expressions reduce to the well-known forms for a GSM beam. Another example for the general beam used in this paper is the collimated flat-topped beam. The results of both kinds of beams show that the intensity profile on the target plane is a key factor affecting the statistical characteristics of the speckle field.A larger beam spot on the target plane induces a smaller coherence length and a smaller normalized intensity variance of the received field. As turbulence gets stronger, the coherence length becomes smaller, and the normalized intensity variance firstly increases and declines to unity finally.  相似文献

Analytical expressions for the three components of the nonparaxial propagation of a Hermite-Laguerre-Gaussian (HLG) beam in uniaxial crystal orthogonal to the optical axis are derived. The intensity distribution of an HLG beam and its three components propagating in a uniaxial crystal orthogonal to the optical axis are demonstrated by numerical examples. Although the y and z components of an HLG beam in the incident plane are both equal to zero, they emerge upon propagation inside the uniaxial crystal. Moreover, the beam profile of the x component is relatively stable and the beam profiles of the y and z components have the same evolution law. If the ratio of the extraordinary refractive index to the ordinary refractive index is larger than unity, the beam profile of the HLG beam is elongated in the x direction and generally rotates clockwise. Otherwise, the beam profile of the HLG beam is elongated in the y direction and generally rotates anticlockwise. This research is beneficial to the optical trapping and nonlinear optics involved in the rotation of a beam profile.  相似文献

A numerical model is developed for the calculation of transient temperature field of thin film coating induced by a long-pulsed high power laser beam. The electric field intensity distribution of HfO2/Si02 high reflective (HR) film is investigated to calculate the thermal field of the film. In many applications, it is important to know the waist of a laser beam. However, it is impossible to measure it directly because the intensity is high at the waist. We have used an optical fiber-scan system to characterize the Gauss/an intensity profile of a focused femtosecond laser beam. The measurement system employs a single-mode optical fiber that is fixed on a motorized three-dimensional translation stage to collect the laser energy and the other end is connected to an optical power meter to measure the intensity profile. Using the measure data and geometry formulas, one can calculate the beam waist and far-field divergence angle of a laser beam. The measured beam waist size is essentially consistent with the result of theoretical fit.  相似文献

 建立了固体激光器矩形光斑光束合成的理论模型,对诺·格公司给出的2束、4束、8束合成实验结果进行分析,并通过数值模拟,得到了不同子束排列方式下合成光斑的远场图形。通过仿真模拟可以得出:排列结构影响远场光斑的形状;子束间距决定了合成光束远场光斑的衍射旁瓣的大小和多少。采用环围能量进行分析,研究了远场光斑中主瓣能量随激光阵列占空比的变化。结果显示,远场光束环围功率随子束间距的增大而逐渐下降,而且参与相干合成子束越多,下降越大。  相似文献

Laser array beam propagating through mouse liver tissue is investigated. The turbulence power spectrum of the liver tissue is employed in the extended Huygens–Fresnel method to obtain an optical intensity profile and beam broadening at the observation point in biological liver tissue. Variations of the beam profile and the beam broadening are simulated based on the number of beamlets, source size, wavelength and the ring radius of the array. A biological tissue, illuminated by the laser array beam, exhibits different beam profiles and beam spot radius variations when the number of beamlets, source size, wavelength and the ring radius of the laser array beam are varied. Examining these variations observed in the propagated optical beam and comparing them with the test cases, abnormalities such as cancer and tumor in a biological liver tissue can be diagnosed.  相似文献

引入了6波段P-1辐射模型,对三维空气电弧等离子体进行了仿真分析.其特点是不仅考虑了热辐射的发射问题,同时考虑了等离子体内热辐射的自吸收问题.通过计算获得了空气电弧等离子体温度和辐射能量的分布并进行了相应的分析.与净辐射系数方法相比较,P-1模型获得的温度分布较宽,其弧柱电压值更接近于实验测量值.研究表明,6波段P-1辐射模型能够更精确地求解空气电弧等离子体的辐射问题. 关键词: 热辐射 P-1模型 空气电弧等离子体 磁流体动力学  相似文献

In electron or atom diffraction experiments on surfaces, the angular shapes of the diffracted beams depend upon the distribution of steps over the surface. In this paper we analyze diffracted beam profiles from stepped surfaces that are reversible. A reversible surface is one in which the pair correlation function over the surface is symmetric with respect to positive and negative directions. We show that the intensity profile across a diffracted beam can be separated into a sharp central spike due to the limit of the correlation function at large separation plus wings or shoulders due to the finite extent of the step disorder. Simple functional expressions for these angular profiles are obtained by a Markov method of treating a one-dimensional geometric distribution of steps. The result explicitly displays the deep structure found for the general case. The method reduces the calculation to a simple eigenvalue problem so that even the continuously changing step distributions that occur in epitaxial growth can be treated easily. As in the general case, the resulting intensity profile is a sharp central spike plus a step-broadened term which now is a sum of Lorentzians. The widths of the Lorentzians are the logarithms of the eigenvalues of the matrix of probabilities which describe the step distribution over the surface. This matrix method, which treats the surface as a Markov chain, also points the correct way to account for correlations between surface atoms for two-dimensional distributions of steps. For a two-dimensional surface one must consider a Markov Random Field as opposed to a simple multiplication of two one-dimensional results. We compare the results of the general calculation to the Si epitaxy experiments of Gronwald and Henzler. The coverage and momentum transfer dependencies of the shapes of the calculated profiles agree with their measurements. The calculation is also applied to the RHEED measurements of Van Hove et al. during GaAs MBE. The measured intensity oscillations can be accounted for by a cyclically changing one-dimensional geometric distribution of steps among three layers in which the third-layer scattering increases with time.  相似文献

We propose a calibration method for spatial distribution of photosensitivity of matrix radiation receivers. It is based on measurements of time-stable distributions of the light beam intensity at several different combinations of mutual positions of the beam and the radiation receiver. The scheme of the experiment was developed to realize this method, and the inverse problem of reconstruction of the spatial distribution of photosensitivity from the measurement results was solved. Numerical simulation of the experiment was used to study the features of the calibration algorithm. The spatial distributions of light sensitivity of the matrices, which work on the principles of charge-coupled device operation, were calibrated in an experiment.  相似文献

The paper considers software for the simulation and analysis of transverse dynamics of charged particle beams in synchrotrons and beam lines. It calculates the transverse beam dynamics in synchrotrons and beam lines based on the linear model, the structural functions of synchrotrons and beam lines, the beam acceptance and emittance, and the orbit correction. The software is capable of calculating the orbit-correction quality distributions and reconstructing the transport matrix parameters from the response matrices.  相似文献

A physical model, based on the solution of the quasi-optics equation for the transverse correlation function (TCF) of the field amplitude, is developed for investigating the brightness, angular divergence, and spatial coherence of the amplified spontaneous emission in a laboratory X-ray laser. The model takes account of the spontaneous source of radiation, diffraction, regular refraction, regular amplification taking account of saturation, nonresonance absorption, scattering by small-scale fluctuations of the electron density and the gain, and scattering by random hose-like deviations of the extended plasma medium of the X-ray laser. It is established that the TCF method makes it possible to obtain the final result much more quickly than the basic Monte Carlo method for the parabolic equation for the field amplitude. As a result of the statistical linearization of the equation for the transverse correlation function in the presence of gain saturation, this method overestimates the absolute values of the average intensity of the amplified spontaneous radiation, but the maximum overestimation does not exceed 10%. It is found that fluctuations of the optical parameters of the medium of the X-ray laser degrade the quality of the amplified spontaneous radiation beam, and they are the analog of the nonresonance absorption from the standpoint of the effect on the brightness of the laser and therefore decrease the observed gain. For the characteristic conditions of an X-ray laser with a quasistationary generation scheme, the contribution of small-scale gain fluctuations and random hose-like deviations of the plasma filament of the laser to the scattering of the amplified spontaneous radiation is much smaller than the contribution of small-scale density fluctuations. Calculations of the amplified spontaneous radiation in an X-ray laser, which is produced by unilateral irradiation of a curved target and possesses an asymmetric plasma electron density profile in the gain zone, are performed. It is shown that in the gain saturation regime the coherence length and the coherent power of the amplified spontaneous radiation can be substantially increased, realizing in the gain zone a convex electron density profile instead of a typical concave profile. It is found that this improvement of the coherence occurs only under conditions such that the characteristic depth of the small-scale density fluctuations does not exceed several percent of the typical regular values of the density in the gain zone.  相似文献

The elastic scattering of light mass, thermal-energy atoms from simple surfaces is investigated. The surface is represented by the model of a single planar square array of hard spheres. The effect of the surface potential well is treated semiclassically by simply shifting the energy of the incident atom ; furthermore a constant imaginary term is added to the energy to account for inelastic scattering and adsorption. As in the multiple scattering formalism of LEED the total scattering matrix of the lattice is expanded in terms of the individual gas atom-surface atom t-matrices. Propagation of the incident atom on the surface is described in terms of a one particle Green's function propagator with complex energy. The terms in the multiple scattering series are summed to all orders, by using standard matrix inversion techniques. The size of the matrix to be inverted limits to ten the total number of phase shifts that are included in the calculation. Thermal effects are included through angle dependent Debye-Waller factors.Model calculations have been performed to study the intensity of the specular and the diffracted beams as a function of the angles of incidence. The importance of surface temperature (introduced by the Debye-Waller factors), the incident energy and the depth of the potential well of the gas-surface interaction are discussed. The main feature of the results is the decrease of the intensity of the specular beam in going from glancing incidence to normal incidence and the presence of structure due to the appearance and disappearance of diffracted beams across the surface. The azimuthal behavior of the specular beam is in agreement with experimental observations.  相似文献

使用蒙特卡罗方法研究入射电子束参数对XHA600D医用电子直线加速器产生的剂量分布的影响,并确定优化的入射电子束参数。根据厂商提供的XHA600D加速器治疗头的几何、材料参数,使用蒙特卡罗程序EGSnrc对不同的入射电子束参数进行模拟并记录其在水模体中产生的剂量分布,将模拟结果与测量结果进行比较。模拟的入射电子束参数包括平均能量、径向强度分布、角度展宽和能量展宽;实验测量数据包括4 cm×4 cm、10 cm×10 cm、30 cm×30 cm射野条件下的百分深度剂量与离轴剂量。结果表明当入射电子束的平均能量为6 MeV、径向强度的半高宽(Full Width at Half Maximum, FWHM)为0.25 cm、角度展宽为0.15°时,模拟结果和测量结果吻合非常好。这些参数可以作为建立适用于XHA600D加速器的TPS(Treatment Planning System)剂量计算模型的基础参数。  相似文献
