In this paper we study well-posedness and asymptotic behavior of solution of a free boundary problem modeling the growth of multi-layer tumors under the action of an external inhibitor. We first prove that this problem is locally well-posed in little Holder spaces. Next we investigate asymptotic behavior of the solution. By making delicate analysis of spectrum of the linearization of the stationary free boundary problem and using the linearized stability theorem, we prove that if the surface tension coefficient γ is larger than γ^* 〉 0 the fiat stationary solution is asymptotically stable provided that the constant c representing the ratio between the nutrient diffusion time and the tumor-cell doubling time is sufficient small.  相似文献

In [7], Cross showed that the spectrum of a linear relation T on a normed space satisfies the spectral mapping theorem. In this paper, we extend the notion of essential ascent and descent for an operator acting on a vector space to linear relations acting on Banach spaces. We focus to define and study the descent, essential descent, ascent and essential ascent spectrum of a linear relation everywhere defined on a Banach space X. In particular, we show that the corresponding spectrum satisfy the polynomial version of the spectral mapping theorem.  相似文献

In this paer the inequality of Lemma 1 of [1] is extended.By means of our inequality and the method of Lyapunov function we study the stability of two kinds of large seate differential systems with time lag and the stability of a higher -order differential equation with time lag.The sufficient conditions for the stability(S.),the asymptotic stability(A.S.),the uniformly asymptotic stability(U.A.S) and the exponential asymptotic stability(E.A.S.) of the zero solutions of the systerms are obtained respectively.  相似文献

In this article, we use penalized spline to estimate the hazard function from a set of censored failure time data. A new approach to estimate the amount of smoothing is provided. Under regularity conditions we establish the consistency and the asymptotic normality of the penalized likelihood estimators. Numerical studies and an example are conducted to evaluate the performances of the new procedure.  相似文献

In this paper, we propose a class of varying coefficient seemingly unrelated regression models, in which the errors are correlated across the equations. By applying the series approximation and taking the contemporaneous correlations into account, we propose an efficient generalized least squares series estimation for the unknown coefficient functions. The consistency and asymptotic normality of the resulting estimators are established. In comparison with the ordinary/east squares ones, the proposed estimators are more efficient with smaller asymptotical variances. Some simulgtlon'studies and a real application are presented to demonstrate the finite sample performance of the proposed methods. In addition, based on a B-spline approximation, we deduce the asymptotic bias and variance of the proposed estimators.  相似文献

In this note,we obtain an asymptotic estimate for the time derivative of the Φ-entropy in terms of the lower bound of the Bakry–Emery Γ2 curvature.In the cases of hyperbolic space and the Heisenberg group(more generally,the nilpotent Lie group of rank two),we show that the time derivative of the Φ-entropy is non-increasing and concave in time t,also we get a sharp asymptotic bound for the time derivative of the entropy in these cases.  相似文献

We consider a non-self-adjoint Schrödinger operator describing the motion of a particle in a one-dimensional space with an analytic potential iV (x) that is periodic with a real period T and is purely imaginary on the real axis. We study the spectrum of this operator in the semiclassical limit and show that the points of its spectrum asymptotically belong to the so-called spectral graph. We construct the spectral graph and evaluate the asymptotic form of the spectrum. A Riemann surface of the particle energy-conservation equation can be constructed in the phase space. We show that both the spectral graph and the asymptotic form of the spectrum can be evaluated in terms of integrals of the pdx form (where x ∈31 ?/T? and p ∈, ? are the particle coordinate and momentum) taken along basis cycles on this Riemann surface. We use the technique of Stokes lines to construct the asymptotic form of the spectrum.  相似文献

We develop spectral and asymptotic analysis for a class of nonselfadjoint operators which are the dynamics generators for the systems governed by the equations of the spatially nonhomogeneous Timoshenko beam model with a 2–parameter family of dissipative boundary conditions. Our results split into two groups. We prove asymptotic formulas for the spectra of the aforementioned operators (the spectrum of each operator consists of two branches of discrete complex eigenvalues and each branch has only two points of accumulation: +∞ and —∞), and for their generalized eigenvectors. Our second main result is the fact that these operators are Riesz spectral. To obtain this result, we prove that the systems of generalized eigenvectors form Riesz bases in the corresponding energy spaces. We also obtain the asymptotics of the spectra and the eigenfunctions for the nonselfadjoint polynomial operator pencils associated with these operators. The pencil asymptotics are essential for the proofs of the spectral results for the aforementioned dynamics generators.  相似文献

In this article we obtain asymptotic formulas for eigenvalues and eigenfunctions of the self‐adjoint operator generated by a system of Sturm–Liouville equations with summable coefficients and quasiperiodic boundary conditions. Then using these asymptotic formulas, we find conditions on the potential for which the number of gaps in the spectrum of the Hill's operator with matrix potential is finite. The asymptotic form of the bottom part of the spectrum of the two-dimensional magnetic Schrödinger operator with a periodic potential in a strong magnetic field is studied in the semiclassical approximation. Averaging methods permit reducing the corresponding classical problem to a one-dimensional problem on the torus; we thus show the almost integrability of the original problem. Using elementary corollaries from the topological theory of Hamiltonian systems, we classify the almost invariant manifolds of the classical Hamiltonian. The manifolds corresponding to the bottom part of the spectrum are closed or nonclosed curves and points. Their geometric and topological characteristics determine the asymptotic form of parts of the spectrum (spectral series). We construct this asymptotic form using the methods of the semiclassical approximation with complex phases. We discuss the relation of the asymptotic form obtained to the magneto-Bloch conditions and asymptotics of the band spectrum.  相似文献

In this paper, we generalize the concept of asymptotic Hankel operators on H2(D) to the Hardy space H2(Dn) (over polydisk) in terms of asymptotic Hankel and partial asymptotic Hankel operators and investigate some properties in case of its weak and strong convergence. Meanwhile, we introduce ith-partial Hankel operators on H2(Dn) and obtain a characterization of its compactness for n > 1. Our main results include the containment of Toeplitz algebra in the collection of all strong partial asymptotic Hankel operators on H2(Dn). It is also shown that a Toeplitz operator with symbol φ is asymptotic Hankel if and only if φ is holomorphic function in L(Tn).  相似文献

In this study, we investigate a Sturm–Liouville type problem with eigenparameter‐dependent boundary conditions and eigenparameter‐dependent transmission conditions. By establishing a new self‐adjoint operator A associated with the problem, we construct fundamental solutions and obtain asymptotic formulae for its eigenvalues and fundamental solutions. 研究了两相同部件温储备可修的人机系统,运用C_0半群的相关理论,对系统主算子的谱界进行估值.估算系统的算子产生的半群的增长界,然后运用了共尾的概念及相关的理论,得到了系统算子A+B的谱界与系统算子产生的半群的增长界相同.进而运用相关代数知识证得,0为系统算子的简单本征值,并分析了系统算子的谱分布,得到系统的指数稳定性.并研究了系统算子预解式的特性.对任意给定的δ0,γ=a+bi,-μ+δa_1≤a≤a_2,得到lim|b|→∞‖R(γ;A+B)‖=0.进而得到在~sRγ≥a_1的右半平面内相应于系统算子A+B的谱点由有限个本征值组成.  相似文献
