本文研究了有限群的F次正规子群,得出了一个F子群是F次正规子群的充要条件,讨论了F次正规子群的一些重要性质。另外,本文还引入了有限群的F极大子群的概念,给出了F子群是F极大群的充要条件。最后,给出了三个定理,讨论了有限群G可解、超可解、幂零与G的F次正规子群、F极大子群之间的联系。 相似文献

We will also consider under what conditions on the restriction of such irreducible projective characters to an abelian normal subgroup that we can deduce that the subgroup is central. The goal of this article is to study finite groups admitting a pseudocomplemented subgroup lattice (PK-groups) or a pseudocomplemented normal subgroup lattice (PKN-groups). In particular, we obtain a complete classification of finite PK-groups and of finite nilpotent PKN-groups. We also study groups with a Stone normal subgroup lattice, and we classify finite groups for which every subgroup has a Stone normal subgroup lattice. A subgroup H of a finite group G is said to be an SS-quasinormal subgroup of G if there is a subgroup B of G such that G = HB and H permutes with every Sylow subgroup of B. In this paper we prove that certain generalized free products of abelian subgroup separable groups, amalgamating an infinite cyclic subgroup, are abelian subgroup separable. We study a certain subgroup of the mapping class group of a surface with boundary by obtaining an action of this subgroup on a polynomial algebra. This action comes from a lift of the action of the subgroup on a trace algebra, Magnus having done a similar thing for the braid groups. We then investigate the invariant theory for this action and various representations that this action affords. In particular, we obtain finite permutation representations and infinite linear representations of these subgroups that are non-trivial on subgroups of the Torelli group. 相似文献

The generalised Fitting subgroup of a finite group is the group generated by all subnormal subgroups that are either nilpotent or quasisimple. The importance of this subgroup in finite group theory stems from the fact that it always contains its own centraliser, so that any finite group is an abelian extension of a group of automorphisms of its generalised Fitting subgroup.
