An optimal control problem for a system involving an interval parameter is considered. The concepts of a universal optimal state and a universal optimal control are introduced. The existence and uniqueness of a universal solution to the interval optimal control problem is proved, and an algorithm for its determination is presented. The interval optimal control problem for a system described by the boundary value problem for a second-order ordinary differential equation is solved as an example.  相似文献

The problem of optimal control of a linear dynamical system under set-membership uncertainty is studied: it is required to steer the system to the terminal set with a guarantee and to maximize the guaranteed value of the quality criterion. The sets of the initial and current a preposteriori distributions of the states of the dynamical system are introduced; they are used to determine a positional solution of the problem of optimal a preposteriori3 observation with the help of inaccurate measurements of input and output signals of the observation object by two measuring devices. The obtained solution is used for determining a positional solution of the optimal control problem under uncertainty. Depending on the amount of the information used, optimal closable and closed output feedbacks are determined. The method of quasiimplementation of optimal feedbacks by means of optimal estimators and a regulator producing real-time control actions is described. A Haar wavelet technique is discussed as a method for discretizing the nonlinear system equations for optimal control problems. The technique is used to transform the state and control variables into nonlinear programming (NLP) parameters at collocation points. A nonlinear programming solver can then be used to solve optimal control problems that are rather general in form. Here, general Bolza optimal control problems with state and control constraints are considered. Examples of two kinds of optimal control problems, continuous and discrete, are solved. The results are compared to those obtained by using other collocation methods.  相似文献

A semi-analytical direct optimal control solution for strongly excited and dissipative Hamiltonian systems is proposed based on the extended Hamiltonian principle, the Hamilton-Jacobi-Bellman (HJB) equation and its variational integral equation, and the finite time element approximation. The differential extended Hamiltonian equations for structural vibration systems are replaced by the variational integral equation, which can preserve intrinsic system structure. The optimal control law dependent on the value function is determined by the HJB equation so as to satisfy the overall optimality principle. The partial differential equation for the value function is converted into the integral equation with variational weighting. Then the successive solution of optimal control with system state is designed. The two variational integral equations are applied to sequential time elements and transformed into the algebraic equations by using the finite time element approximation. The direct optimal control on each time element is obtained respectively by solving the algebraic equations, which is unconstrained by the system state observed. The proposed control algorithm is applicable to linear and nonlinear systems with the quadratic performance index, and takes into account the effects of external excitations measured on control. Numerical examples are given to illustrate the optimal control effectiveness.  相似文献

The goal of planning a horizontal well path is to obtain a trajectory that arrives at a given target subject to various constraints. In this paper, the optimal control problem subject to a nonlinear multistage dynamical system (NMDS) for horizontal well paths is investigated. Some properties of the multistage system are proved. In order to derive the optimality conditions, we transform the optimal control problem into one with control constraints and inequality-constrained trajectories by defining some functions. The properties of these functions are then discussed and optimality conditions for optimal control problem are also given. Finally, an improved simplex method is developed and applied to the optimal design for well Ci-16-Cp146 in Oil Field of Liaohe, and the numerical results illustrate the validity of both the model and the algorithm.  相似文献

A linear problem of optimal guaranteed control of a delay system is considered in which geometric constraints on control actions and terminal constraints on states are present. A new concept of a state of the problem that represents a finite-dimensional vector is introduced. Three kinds of optimal feedback are defined. We describe methods for implementing open-loop and closable optimal feedbacks. They are based on a fast dual method for the correction of optimal programs. We consider a dynamic inventory control system described by a network model with an interval assigned nonstationary demand. We assume that unknown demand may take any value within the interval, which bounds depend on time. In terms of Kaucher interval arithmetic, we derive necessary and sufficient conditions for the existence of a feasible feedback control and sufficient conditions for the existence of an optimal feedback control strategy. We obtain an optimal feasible storage level and estimate the rate of the system convergence to this level. Then we develop the algorithm of finding the optimal control strategy. We consider integer-restricted optimal control of systems governed by abstract semilinear evolution equations. This includes the problem of optimal control design for certain distributed parameter systems endowed with multiple actuators, where the task is to minimize costs associated with the dynamics of the system by choosing, for each instant in time, one of the actuators together with ordinary controls. We consider relaxation techniques that are already used successfully for mixed-integer optimal control of ordinary differential equations. Our analysis yields sufficient conditions such that the optimal value and the optimal state of the relaxed problem can be approximated with arbitrary precision by a control satisfying the integer restrictions. The results are obtained by semigroup theory methods. The approach is constructive and gives rise to a numerical method. We supplement the analysis with numerical experiments.  相似文献

Our aim in this work is to synthesize optimal feeding strategies that maximize, over a time period, the biogas production in a continuously filled bioreactor controlled by its dilution rate. Such an anaerobic process is described by a four-dimensional dynamical system. Instead of modeling the optimization of the biogas production as a Lagrange-type optimal control problem, we propose a slightly different optimal control approach in this paper: We study the minimal time control problem to reach a target point, which is chosen in such a way that it maximizes the biogas production at steady state. Thanks to the Pontryagin maximum principle and the geometric control theory, we provide an optimal feedback control for the minimal time control problem, when the initial conditions are taken within the invariant and attractive manifold of the system. The optimal synthesis exhibits turnpike and anti-turnpike singular arcs and a cut locus.  相似文献

In this paper, we study optimal relaxed controls and relaxation of nonlinear fractional impulsive evolution equations. Firstly, existence of piecewise continuous mild solutions for the original fractional impulsive control system is presented. Secondly, fractional impulsive relaxed control system is constructed by using a regular countably additive measure and making the original control system convexified. Thirdly, optimal relaxed controls and relaxation theorems are obtained. Finally, application to initial-boundary value problem of fractional impulsive parabolic control system is considered.  相似文献

Bi-level optimal control problems are presented as an extension to classical optimal control problems. Hereby, additional constraints for the primary problem are considered, which depend on the optimal solution of a secondary optimal control problem. A demanding problem is the numerical complexity, since at any point in time the solution of the optimal control problem as well as a complete solution of the secondary problem have to be determined. Hence we deal with two dependent variables in time. The numerical solution of the bi-level problem is illustrated by an application of a container crane. Jerk and energy optimal trajectories with free final time are calculated under the terminal condition that the crane system comes to be at rest at a predefined location. In enlargement additional constraints are investigated to ensure that the crane system can be brought to a rest position by a safety stop at a free but admissible location in minimal time from any state of the trajectory. This paper deal with optimal control problems for a non-stationary Stokes system. We study a simultaneous distributed-boundary optimal control problem with distributed observation. We prove the existence and uniqueness of a simultaneous optimal control and we give the first order optimality condition for this problem. We also consider a distributed optimal control problem and a boundary optimal control problem and we obtain estimations between the simultaneous optimal control and the optimal controls of these last ones. We consider an optimal guaranteed control problem for a linear time-varying system that is subject to unknown bounded disturbances. A control strategy is defined that guarantees steering the system to a given terminal set for any realization of disturbances and takes into account that at one future time instant the control loop will be closed. An efficient method for constructing the optimal control strategy and an algorithm for optimal feedback control based on this type of strategies are proposed.  相似文献

We address a rate control problem associated with a single server Markovian queueing system with customer abandonment in heavy traffic. The controller can choose a buffer size for the queueing system and also can dynamically control the service rate (equivalently the arrival rate) depending on the current state of the system. An infinite horizon cost minimization problem is considered here. The cost function includes a penalty for each rejected customer, a control cost related to the adjustment of the service rate and a penalty for each abandoning customer. We obtain an explicit optimal strategy for the limiting diffusion control problem (the Brownian control problem or BCP) which consists of a threshold-type optimal rejection process and a feedback-type optimal drift control. This solution is then used to construct an asymptotically optimal control policy, i.e. an optimal buffer size and an optimal service rate for the queueing system in heavy traffic. The properties of generalized regulator maps and weak convergence techniques are employed to prove the asymptotic optimality of this policy. In addition, we identify the parameter regimes where the infinite buffer size is optimal.  相似文献
