本文对甲烷预混气在多孔介质中的火焰传播特性进行了实验研究,在开口竖直管中充填多孔介质,通过改变预混气氧含量使火焰在不同多孔介质中传播并测量火焰传播速度。预混气中氧含量最高达到29%。实验结果表明:多孔介质中甲烷可燃预混气火焰传播速度大于其层流火焰传播速度,可达到5倍以上(当量比的甲烷-空气预混气);多孔介质当量孔直径越大,或预混气层流火焰速度越高,则预混气火焰传播速度越高;多孔介质中可燃混气的火焰传播界限变小,当量孔直径大的多孔介质其界限值较大。实验结果与Babkin提出的多孔介质中的火焰传播机理相符。  相似文献

为详细比较动态增厚火焰模型和火焰锋面密度模型的性能,本文分别采用这两种亚网格燃烧模型对工业燃气轮机PRECCINSTA的模型燃烧室内湍流预混火焰进行了大涡模拟研究。计算结果与实验数据吻合良好,且这两种模型预测得到的速度、温度和主要组分的统计数据也非常接近。然而对于CO的分布两者的预测结果差异明显,文中对此进行了简要分析。研究还表明本文的计算结果与实验数据的吻合度与文献中报道的前期结果相比有所提高。  相似文献

本文运用电容层析成像(ECT)方法,以非侵入的方式,对多孔介质燃烧中的火焰分布进行可视化测量.针对高孔隙率泡沫陶瓷(8PPI)的孔隙结构特点,提出了一种"十字架形"几何结构模型,用丁泡沫型多孔介质内甲烷-空气预混燃烧的二维数值模拟.ECT成像结果与数值模拟结果吻合,显示了两个不同学科信息的融合性和互验性.  相似文献

本文研究网格湍流对射流剪切层以及建立在其中的预混火焰的影响。利用热线风速仪测量射流的速度场,发现网格湍流使剪切层内湍流强度明显降低,抑制了低频速度脉动,同时增加了湍动能在小尺度脉动上的分配,使湍流更趋于各向同性,这表明网格湍流抑制了剪切层内的大涡和拟序结构。用细丝热电偶测量了火焰温度,结果显示网格湍流使火焰前峰的低频大幅摆动减少,小尺度皱褶增加,火焰区平均温度更高,说明网格湍流有利于剪切层中预混火焰的强化和稳定。  相似文献

本文采用完全可压缩的N-S方程,对当量比为1.0的H2/air旋流预混火焰进行了直接数值模拟研究。氢气和空气的化学反应采用9种组分19步的详细机理。模拟结果表明,强旋流流场中存在回流区,碗形旋流火焰稳定在回流区的外围。在火焰面上沿火焰法向提取了局部火焰结构,将局部湍流火焰结构与层流预混火焰的火焰结构进行了比较,发现局部湍流火焰比层流预混火焰更薄,燃烧强度更高。  相似文献

湍流燃烧的基本火焰结构是拉伸的曲面涡管;拉伸流场中的管形火焰模拟了湍流燃烧的细微结构。本文对平面预混火焰、拉伸预混火焰和管形拉伸预混火焰进行了质量、能量和组分的守恒分析。通过对比这几种火焰,揭示了火焰拉伸效果是通过优先扩散改变火焰温度和熄火极限;而火焰曲率通过增强或削弱这种优先扩散效果来影响火焰温度,影响的大小和火焰厚度与火焰半径的比值呈正比。  相似文献

以多孔介质发动机为背景,用数值模拟方法考察气缸内加入多孔介质蓄热体后对燃烧室内湍流流场及混合气形成的影响.建立了多孔介质随机结构的简化模型,把多孔介质视为随机分布的大量固相单元的集合.在多孔介质区域引入了Antohe和Lage提出的双方程κ-ε湍流模型.为研究喷雾液滴与多孔介质的高温壁面碰撞,引入新的喷雾模型.在模型中考虑了液滴的破碎、碰撞和合并,并且描述了喷雾和多孔介质壁面之间的相互作用.针对燃油喷雾在不同结构多孔介质内流场进行了数值计算.计算表明,喷雾与多孔介质相互作用对燃烧室内燃油液滴的蒸发、混合气的形成过程和均匀化具有重要的影响.  相似文献

在实际应用中,精确模拟高湍流度预混火焰十分关键但极具挑战性。本文将被动标量混合时间尺度动态封闭方法与hybrid混合时间尺度模型结合,在湍流预混火焰LES/FDF模拟中提出一种新的标量混合时间尺度建模方法。该方法不需要人为选取混合模型参数C_M,且动态地考虑了由湍流和火焰结构分别引起的亚网格标量混合。对悉尼值班预混射流燃烧器高湍流度PM1-150火焰进行了LES/FDF模拟。结果表明,新模型显著改善了对整体燃烧进程的预测结果,正确地预测了局部熄火/再燃现象。进一步的结果显示,模型参数C_M明显大于在RANS框架下量级为1的常用取值,这表明该参数在不同框架下具有不同的物理内涵。  相似文献

应用RNG K-ε湍流模型和EBU-Arrhenius燃烧速率模型,模拟了湍流预混V形火焰的起燃过程。数值模拟首先得出了圆柱形稳定杆后的卡门涡街,并进一步给出了火焰锋面在传播中的特征。在火焰点燃的初期,火焰的形状受到稳定杆尾流的卡门涡街的很大影响。随着火焰向前传播,涡街渐渐消失。火焰锋面的传播过程与差分干涉方法得到的实验测量值吻合较好。  相似文献

针对航空发动机燃烧室等复杂工程中的预混燃烧问题发展高精度、高效的数值预测方法,本研究发展了火焰面生成流型(FGM)详细化学反应建表方法结合超大涡模拟方法(VLES),对工程中的GE LM6000预混旋流燃烧室燃烧开展了高精度数值研究,并与实验结果进行了比较。计算结果表明,VLES-FGM方法可以较准确地预测出旋流预混燃烧室内的流场及温度场分布。为了进一步模拟航空发动机真实的燃烧工况,对原始单头部燃烧室使用周期性边界条件来类比全环燃烧室。计算结果表明,VLES-FGM方法计算得到的周期性燃烧室流场回流区相比较固壁边界燃烧室较小,并且固壁边界燃烧室温度场具有明显的颈部结构,燃烧室下游的高温区分布更为均匀。本文计算结果表明基于FGM燃烧模型的自适应湍流模拟方法VLES对于模拟复杂航空发动机相关的旋流预混燃烧具有很大的应用潜力。  相似文献

This study focuses on the modelling of turbulent lifted jet flames using flamelets and a presumed Probability Density Function (PDF) approach with interest in both flame lift-off height and flame brush structure. First, flamelet models used to capture contributions from premixed and non-premixed modes of the partially premixed combustion in the lifted jet flame are assessed using a Direct Numerical Simulation (DNS) data for a turbulent lifted hydrogen jet flame. The joint PDFs of mixture fraction Z and progress variable c, including their statistical correlation, are obtained using a copula method, which is also validated using the DNS data. The statistically independent PDFs are found to be generally inadequate to represent the joint PDFs from the DNS data. The effects of Zc correlation and the contribution from the non-premixed combustion mode on the flame lift-off height are studied systematically by including one effect at a time in the simulations used for a posteriori validation. A simple model including the effects of chemical kinetics and scalar dissipation rate is suggested and used for non-premixed combustion contributions. The results clearly show that both Zc correlation and non-premixed combustion effects are required in the premixed flamelets approach to get good agreement with the measured flame lift-off heights as a function of jet velocity. The flame brush structure reported in earlier experimental studies is also captured reasonably well for various axial positions. It seems that flame stabilisation is influenced by both premixed and non-premixed combustion modes, and their mutual influences.  相似文献

A tribrachial (or triple) flame is one kind of edge flame that can be encountered in nonpremixed mixing layers, consisting of a lean and a rich premixed flame wing together with a trailing diffusion flame all extending from a single point. The flame could play an important role on the characteristics of various flame behaviors including lifted flames in jets, flame propagation in two-dimensional mixing layers, and autoignition fronts. The structure of tribrachial flame suggests that the edge is located along the stoichiometric contour in a mixing layer due to the coexistence of all three different types of flames. Since the edge has a premixed nature, it has unique propagation characteristics. In this review, the propagation speed of tribrachial flames will be discussed for flames propagating in mixing layers, including the effects of concentration gradient, velocity gradient, and burnt gas expansion. Based on the tribrachial edge structure observed experimentally in laminar lifted flames in jets, the flame stabilization characteristics including liftoff height, reattachment, and blowout behaviors and their buoyancy-induced instability will be explained. Various effects on liftoff heights in both free and coflow jets including jet velocity, the Schmidt number of fuel, nozzle diameter, partial premixing of air to fuel, and inert dilution to fuel are discussed. Implications of edge flames in the modeling of turbulent nonpremixed flames and the stabilization of turbulent lifted flames in jets are covered.  相似文献

In the present study, a new turbulent premixed combustion model is proposed by integrating the Coherent Flame Model with the modified eddy dissipation concept, and relating the fine structure mass fraction to the flame surface density. First, experimental results of turbulent flame speed available from literature are compared with the predicted results at different turbulence intensities to validate the flame surface density model. It is observed that the model is able to predict the turbulent burning speeds accurately. Then, a comprehensive validation is carried out utilizing data on a turbulent lifted methane flame issuing into a vitiated co-flow. Detailed comparison of temperature and species concentrations between experiment and simulation is performed at different heights of the flame. Overall, the model is found to predict both the spatial variation and peak values of the scalars at various heights satisfactorily.  相似文献

A data processing scheme with particular emphasis on proper flame contour smoothing is developed and applied to measure the three-dimensional mean flame surface area ratio in turbulent premixed flames. The scheme is based on the two-sheet imaging technique such that the mean flame surface area ratio is an average within a window covering a finite section of the turbulent flame brush. This is in contrast to the crossed-plane tomograph technique which applies only to a line. Two sets of Bunsen flames have been investigated in this work with the turbulent Reynolds number up to 4000 and the Damköhler number ranging from less than unity to close to 10. The results show that three-dimensional effects are substantial. The measured three-dimensional mean flame surface area ratio correlates well with a formula similar to the Zimont model for turbulent burning velocity but with different model constants. Also, the mean flame surface area ratio displays a weak dependency on turbulence intensity but a strong positive dependency on the turbulence integral length scale.  相似文献

The structure and dynamics of a turbulent partially premixed methane/air flame in a conical burner were investigated using laser diagnostics and large-eddy simulations (LES). The flame structure inside the cone was characterized in detail using LES based on a two-scalar flamelet model, with the mixture fraction for the mixing field and level-set G-function for the partially premixed flame front propagation. In addition, planar laser induced florescence (PLIF) of CH and chemiluminescence imaging with high speed video were performed through a glass cone. CH and CH2O PLIF were also used to examine the flame structures above the cone. It is shown that in the entire flame the CH layer remains very thin, whereas the CH2O layer is rather thick. The flame is stabilized inside the cone a short distance above the nozzle. The stabilization of the flame can be simulated by the triple-flame model but not the flamelet-quenching model. The results show that flame stabilization in the cone is a result of premixed flame front propagation and flow reversal near the wall of the cone which is deemed to be dependent on the cone angle. Flamelet based LES is shown to capture the measured CH structures whereas the predicted CH2O structure is somewhat thinner than the experiments.  相似文献

Laminar flame speed (LFS) is one of the most important physicochemical properties of a combustible mixture. At normal and elevated temperatures and pressures, LFS can be measured using propagating spherical flames in a closed chamber. LFS is also used in certain turbulent premixed flame modelling for combustion in spark ignition engines. Inside the closed chamber or engine, transient pressure rise occurs during the premixed flame propagation. The effects of pressure rise rate (PRR) on LFS are examined numerically in this study. One-dimensional simulations are conducted for spherical flame propagation in a closed chamber. Detailed chemistry and transport are considered. Different values of PRR at the same temperature and pressure are achieved through changing the spherical chamber size. It is found that the effect of PRR on LFS is negligible under the normal and engine-relevant conditions considered in this study. This observation is then explained through the comparison between the unsteady and convection terms in the energy equation for a premixed flame.  相似文献

An effective partially premixed flamelet model for large eddy simulation (LES) of turbulent spray combustion is formulated. Different flame regimes are identified with a flame index defined by budget terms in a 2-D multi-phase flamelet formulation, and the application in LES of partially pre-vaporized spray flames shows a favorable agreement with experiments. Simulations demonstrate that, compared to the conventional single-regime flamelets, the present partially premixed flamelet formulation shows its ability in capturing the subgrid regime transitions, yielding a well prediction of peak gas temperature and the downstream flame spreading. A propagating premixed flame front is found coupled with a trailing diffusion burning through the spray evaporation, and the spray effect on regime discrimination is manifested with transport budget analysis. A two-phase regime indicator is then proposed, by which the evaporation-dictated regime is properly described. Its intended use will rely on both gas and spray flamelet structures.  相似文献

Tabulated chemistry and presumed probability density function (PDF) approaches are combined to perform RANS modeling of premixed turbulent combustion. The chemistry is tabulated from premixed flamelets with three independent parameters: the equivalence ratio of the mixture, the progress of reaction, and the specific enthalpy, to account for heat losses at walls. Mean quantities are estimated from presumed PDFs. This approach is used to numerically predict a turbulent premixed flame diluted by hot burnt products at an equivalence ratio that differs from the main stream of reactants. The investigated flame, subjected to high velocity fluctuations, has a thickened-wrinkled structure. A recently proposed closure for scalar dissipation rate that includes an estimation of the coupling between flame wrinkling and micromixing is retained. Comparisons of simulations with experimental measurements of mean velocity, temperature, and reactants are performed.  相似文献
