对充分退火纯镍多晶体样品分组进行了恒应变幅拉-压疲劳试验和冷轧形变后,测量了正电子湮没参数;并选少数疲劳试样进行了电子显微镜薄膜衍射象观察。用多指数拟合方法从疲劳试样的正电子湮没寿命谱中分解出与正电子在小空位团中湮没相应的成份。这些寿命值在不同疲劳阶段分别平均为209,255和>300ps。其相对强度的变化与小空位团浓度增加然后尺寸增大的趋势相符合。从而,本文根据正电子湮没技术提供了纯镍多晶体疲劳过程中除大量位错外空位聚集的实验证据。利用简单三态正电子捕获模型估算了上述缺陷浓度。本工作还提供了用多指数拟合方法分解复杂寿命谱和用于简单三态捕获模型的例证。 关键词:  相似文献

本文采用基于速率理论的模拟方法研究钨材料中氢同位素氘的热脱附谱. 热脱附数据来源于520 K下受等离子体辐照的多晶钨, 入射离子能量为40 eV, 剂量为1× 1026 D/m2. 通过调节速率理论中的俘获能、俘获率等参数, 最终获得与实验相符合的热脱附拟合谱. 拟合结果表明, 钨中俘获的氘存在于三种俘获态, 俘获能分别为1.14 eV, 1.40 eV和1.70 eV, 相应脱附温度峰值为500 K, 600 K和730 K. 这三个俘获能分别应对应于第一原理计算得到的空位俘获第3–5个氢原子的俘获能(含零点振动能修正)、空位俘获第1–2个氢原子的俘获能, 空位团簇对氢原子的俘获能. 模拟结果表明, 在本辐照实验条件下, 钨中空位及空位团簇是氘在钨中的主要俘获态.  相似文献

Defects in an AA5754 (Al-3.0%Mg) alloy are investigated by coincidence Doppler broadening spectroscopy and positron lifetime spectroscopy. The results indicate enhancement of positron trapping by Mg atoms in this Al-Mg alloy after quenching treatment at 623K, which may be due to the formation of vacancy-Mg complexes or the aggregation of Mg near the vacancy sites. It is speculated that the aggregation of Mg atoms in the moderate temperature range is responsible for cracking in spot welding of AA5754 alloys.  相似文献

Low temperature photoluminescence and room temperature positron annihilation spectroscopy have been employed to investigate the defects incorporated by 6?MeV H(+) ions in a hydrothermally grown ZnO single crystal. Prior to irradiation, the emission from donor bound excitons is at 3.378?eV (10?K). The irradiation creates an intense and narrow emission at 3.368?eV (10?K). The intensity of this peak is nearly four times that of the dominant near band edge peak of the pristine crystal. The characteristic features of the 3.368?eV emission indicate its origin as a 'hydrogen at oxygen vacancy' type defect. The positron annihilation lifetime measurement reveals a single component lifetime spectrum for both the unirradiated (164?±?1?ps) and irradiated crystal (175?±?1?ps). It reflects the fact that the positron lifetime and intensity of the new irradiation driven defect species are a little higher compared to those in the unirradiated crystal. However, the estimated defect concentration, even considering the high dynamic defect annihilation rate in ZnO, comes out to be ~4?×?10(17)?cm(-3) (using SRIM software). This is a very high defect concentration compared to the defect sensitivity of positron annihilation spectroscopy. A probable reason is the partial filling of the incorporated vacancies (positron traps), which in ZnO are zinc vacancies. The positron lifetime of ~175?ps (in irradiated ZnO) is consistent with recent theoretical calculations for partially hydrogen-filled zinc vacancies in ZnO. Passivation of oxygen vacancies by hydrogen is also reflected in the photoluminescence results. A possible reason for such vacancy filling (at both Zn and O sites) due to irradiation has also been discussed.  相似文献

The very early stages of decomposition during room temperature storage, i.e. just a few minutes after quenching, are investigated by positron annihilation lifetime spectroscopy for both an AlMgSi alloy and an AlCuMg alloy. It turns out that by freezing the decomposition kinetics during measurements we can detect vacancy–solute atom pairs. The formation of larger solute clusters with structural vacancies is seen by an increase of the mean positron lifetime in the course of storage at room temperature (RT). Earlier findings concerning aging at RT were unable to discover this effect. The detected changes are interpreted in terms of cluster formation. Thus we show that positron annihilation spectroscopy (PAS) is one of the very few methods to access early stages of decomposition in metallic alloys. Moreover, the lower limit of the concentration of quenched‐in vacancy‐like defects is calculated to be at least 2 × 10–5 per atom. (© 2008 WILEY‐VCH Verlag GmbH & Co. KGaA, Weinheim)  相似文献

Bulk nickel silicides (NiSi and NiSi2) have been studied using the experimental positron lifetime and depth-resolved positron beam measurements. Ab-initio calculations of positron lifetime for the silicides have also been carried out using the atomic superposition method. For NiSi phase, it is found that the theoretically computed positron lifetime compares favourably with the experimentally deduced value indicating that NiSi is defect free. However, for NiSi2, the experimental positron lifetime does not compare well with the theoretical value suggesting that NiSi2 contains vacancy defects. This is further supported by the positron diffusion lengths deduced from the VEPFIT analysis of the positron beam results.  相似文献

181Ta time differential perturbed angular correlation (TDPAC) and positron lifetime measurements were carried out on homogeneously α-implanted CuHf samples. TDPAC measurements indicate the trapping of vacancy clusters and helium associated defect complexes by Hf atoms. The presence of helium-vacancy complexes and helium stabilised voids has been identified by positron lifetime measurements. Further the nucleation and growth stages of helium bubbles have been identified. TDPAC and positron lifetime measurements indicate that Hf atoms act as heterogeneous nucleating centers for helium bubbles. Hf atoms are found to suppress the bubble growth in CuHf as indicated by the results of positron lifetime measurements.  相似文献

 采用慢正电子湮没光谱研究低能质子辐照下ZnO白漆的光学退化。研究结果表明,随质子辐照注量的增加, 多普勒展宽谱的S参数逐渐减小,W参数逐渐增大。质子辐照下S-W参数拟合曲线的斜率发生改变。S参数的减小可以归结为锌空位含量的减少以及准正电子素的形成。准正电子素{单电离氧空位(捕获一个电子)+正电子}的形成,能够降低正电子湮没的速率,导致S参数减小。S参数的减小证实了质子辐照导致ZnO白漆中单电离氧空位数量的增加。S-W参数拟合曲线斜率的变化可以归结于质子辐照下双电离氧空位向单电离氧空位的转变。  相似文献

The effect of the size dependence of the production rate of point defect clusters is taken into account in the cluster dynamics (CD) modeling of the simultaneous formation of vacancy clusters and self-interstitial atom clusters in neutron-irradiated pure iron. The calibration of material parameters has been carried out. Nanoparticles of cobalt ferrite prepared by the co-precipitation method with crystallite size varying from 4.7 to 41 nm have been characterized by positron annihilation lifetime spectroscopy. Three lifetime components are fitted to the lifetime data. The shortest lifetime component is attributed to the delocalized positron lifetime shortened by defect trapping. The intermediate lifetime is assigned to the positron annihilation in diffuse vacancy clusters or microvoids at the grain boundaries and at the grain-boundary triple points. The longest component corresponds to the pick-off annihilation of ortho-positronium formed at the larger voids. The variations in these lifetimes and their relative intensities with annealing temperature and crystallite size have been studied in detail.  相似文献

Positron lifetime measurements were carried out at room temperature before and after isochronous annealing of cylindrical, machined fatigue specimens and of round slabs of austenitic stainless steel AISI 316 L deformed in compression. Annealing experiments are evaluated in terms of vacancy migration and sinking to grain boundaries and dislocations. The model assumes spherical grains with a homogeneous initial distribution of vacancies. A vacancy migration enthalpy of HM V=(0.9±0.15) eV was found. It is concluded that positron trapping at dislocation lines does not significantly contribute to positron lifetime measurements at room temperature and that single vacancies are the dominating positron traps. Positron annihilation depth profiling on cross-sectional areas prepared from machined specimens using a positron microprobe with 10 μm spatial resolution shows that machining of cylindrical specimens creates vacancies up to 5 mm below the surface. We have developed a method called optical transient positron spectroscopy and apply it to study the optically induced carrier trapping and charge transfer processes in natural brown type IIa diamond. By measuring the positron lifetime with continuous and pulsed illumination, we present an estimate of the optical absorption cross section of the vacancy clusters causing the brown color. The vacancy clusters accept electrons from the valence band in the absorption process, giving rise to photoconductivity.  相似文献

The influence of hydrogen on the plastic deformation of nanocrystalline nickel was analysed by recourse to nanoindentation on the uncharged and hydrogen-charged samples. It was revealed that, in nanocrystalline Ni, hydrogen significantly decreases hardness but does not alter the strain rate sensitivity. Through thermal desorption spectroscopy measurement, charged hydrogen was expected to reside in face-centred cubic lattice, grain boundaries (GBs) and vacancies rather than dislocations. The hydrogen-induced softening behaviour is discussed in terms of the possible roles of hydrogen in GB-assisted dislocation flow mechanism.  相似文献

Abstract

High-purity nickel was irradiated with 2 MeV electrons at temperatures below 80 K to a dose of 1 × 1023 e?/m2 in the as-prepared state and after charging with H or D. By means of magnetic after-effect measurements relaxations of anisotropic radiation-induced defects and of defect-hydrogen complexes were investigated in the temperature range between 4.2 and 500 K. The isochronal annealing behaviour of these relaxations and the isochronal recovery of the residual resistivity was measured simultaneously on the same specimens. At temperatures below the hydrogen mobility (< 160 K) in charged irradiated specimens relaxation maxima are observed at 45, 100, 115 and 140 K which show no isotope shift for H and D charging. The maxima below 160 K are explained by defect-hydrogen complexes, where radiation-induced defects reorient around immobile hydrogen atoms. Above 160 K, where hydrogen atoms get mobile, in charged irradiated specimens a broad relaxation maximum appears at 170 K which shows an inverse isotope shift for H and D charging. This 170 K maximum anneals in Stage III. A hydrogen diffusion maximum observed in charged specimens at 215 K prior to irradiation is missing after electron irradiation. The 170 K relaxation is explained by defect-hydrogen complexes, where hydrogen atoms reorient around immobile radiation-induced defects while the long-range hydrogen diffusion is suppressed by these defects. In such relaxation measurements hydrogen and deuterium atoms are used as a “probe” to investigate radiation-induced defects.  相似文献

采用重离子辐照模拟方法和正电子湮没寿命测量技术研究了钨辐射损伤随辐照剂量的变化。20,60和90dpa(每个原子的位移次数)辐照损伤水平的实验结果表明,辐照在钨中产生单空位、双空位、位错和空位团等缺陷;随辐照剂量的增大,单空位、双空位和位错浓度增加,空位团的尺度和浓度都随之增大。Radiation damage in W has been studied as a function of irradiation dose by heavy ion simulation and positron annihilation lifetime measurement. The experimental results of 20, 60 and 90 dpa irradiations illustrate that the mono-and di-vacancies, dislocations and vacancy clusters are produced by the irradiation. The concentrations of the mono-and di-vacancies and dislocations and both the concentration and size of the vacancy clusters or voids all increase with the increasing of the irradiation dose.  相似文献

Hydrogen behavior in Pd0.75Ag0.25H x has been investigated by both perturbed angular correlation (PAC) and positron annihilation lifetime spectroscopy (PAS) techniques. The PAC measurements with the 111Ag/111Cd probe nuclei were conducted at room temperature as a function of the hydrogen concentration x up to 0.35. At x = 0 the probe nuclei experienced no quadrupole perturbation, while a distinct perturbation was observed after hydrogen charging. The quadrupole interaction frequency ω 1 and its distribution width σ 1 and relative fraction f1 all decrease with increasing hydrogen concentration, indicating size growth and concentration reduction of the hydrogen induced vacancy clusters. The measured frequency distribution width σ 1 reveals hydrogen diffusion. The PAS measurements were also performed at room temperature. The obtained lifetimes and their variation with hydrogen concentration strongly support the PAC results. The experimental results can be explained by the appearance of the β-phase in the Pd0.75Ag0.25H x samples. The α-phase is the major phase in the Pd0.75Ag0.25H x samples. Charging of the hydrogen leads to the formation of the β-phase and the fraction of the β-phase increases with increasing hydrogen concentration. The present PAC and PAS results show that as the fraction of the β-phase increases, hydrogen induced vacancy clusters are formed and become larger and larger, while the cluster density reduces due to the combination of the vacancy clusters into larger size vacancy clusters.  相似文献
