提出了一种采用倾斜脉冲的级联二阶非线性来实现超短激光脉冲压缩的方法. 对基于单块BBO晶体中基频光与倍频光群速度匹配的级联二阶非线性的脉冲压缩方案进行了理论分析. 对比研究了群速度匹配与失配情况下利用级联二阶非线性进行脉冲压缩的效果, 并模拟分析了基频光与倍频光的位相失配量、非线性晶体长度、 基频光初始峰值光强和初始脉宽等因素对脉冲压缩效果的影响. 结果表明, 基频光与倍频光的群速度匹配将会大幅度改善压缩脉冲的时间波形和频谱分布. 通过对位相失配量、晶体长度、初始光强等参数的优化和选取可获得较理想的压缩效果. 采用倾斜脉冲的级联二阶非线性的脉宽压缩方法, 针对中心波长800 nm、脉宽100 fs, 峰值光强为50 GW/cm2的基频光脉冲, 采用25 mm厚BBO晶体, 当基频光与倍频光位相失配量Δk=60 mm-1(对应失谐角1.98°), 晶体外部脉冲前沿倾斜角γ0=74°时, 计算获得了质量较好的20 fs剩余基频光, 并同时产生了14 fs的倍频光.

三类偏振模色散模拟器的多阶特性和频率统计相关性分析 总被引:1,自引:0,他引:1
对现有三类偏振模色散模拟器:旋转晶体型、偏振控制器型和加热器型模拟器,进行了详尽的相关群时延、高阶偏振模色散的统计分布和频率自相关函数三大统计特性的数值模拟和性能比较.以级联段数作为主要参量的分析结果表明:相关群时延分布的产生准确度,旋转晶体型模拟器略优于偏振控制器型,而加热型模拟器相对最差;在产生精确的高阶偏振模色散分布方面,偏振控制器型模拟器最为优越,加热型模拟器略优于旋转晶体型;而对于产生较低的频率自相关本底水准方面,加热型模拟器则优于偏振控制器型和旋转晶体型.综合而言,偏振控制器型模拟器的性能最为优越;十段左右的偏振控制器型模拟器就可以产生合格的模拟效果,其效果等价于十五段以上旋转晶体型,或二十段以上加热型模拟器. 相似文献

提出了一种新型的基于高非线性光纤(HNLF)中非线性 偏振旋转(NPR)效应的全光逻辑门实现方案. 将两路非归零码数据信号A和B以及一路直流光同时注入HNLF, 光功率变化导致的非线性双折射在两个偏振分量上引入非线性相对相移, 从而导致光信号的偏振态旋转. 在HNLF输出端, 通过波分解复用器和偏振分束器同时滤出数据信号和直流光的正交偏振态, 从而同时实现多种基础组合逻辑, 并可以在同一段HNLF中实现较为复杂的半加器、半减器逻辑功能. 理论分析了信号光在HNLF中的偏振态演化, 以及利用HNLF中的NPR效应同时实现多种全光逻辑门的原理. 并在实验中得到了10 Gbit/s全光信号"与”、"非”、"或”、"同或”、"异或”、"A· B”、"A·B”、半加器、半减器等逻辑功能, 验证了方案的可行性. 相似文献

A counterpropagating quasi-phase-matched configuration is examined that is capable of efficiently producing second-order cascaded nonlinear phase shifts with minimal power lost to the second harmonic. For all-optical switching in a nonlinear Mach-Zehnder interferometer, the calculated minimum input power needed for switching (i.e., to yield a +/-pi/2 phase shift) is 40 times smaller than the power needed in the standard typeI copropagating configuration. We report on a theoreticalanalysis of the effects of a converging pump field of Gaussian transverse profile on second harmonic generation in a periodic nonlinear material with quasi-phase-matching. The outputs of the centre intensity and the intensity flux for second harmonic generation are derived by simulation, based on the parameters of quasi-phase-mismatch, the waist and focus positions of the input pump beam. The results show that when the transverse profile of the pump field is taken into account, the quasi-phase-match value and focus position of input beam for maximal second harmonic generation flollow new criteria. 相似文献

Effect of the polarization characteristics of the output mirror coating of a V-shaped cavity blue diode pumped solid-state laser on the second harmonic generation is presented. The reflection-induced phase shift of the coating can cause a maximum 6% decrease of the conversing efficiency of the fundamental wave to the second harmonic wave. The transmission-induced phase shift of the coating can decrease the degree of linear polarization of the second harmonic output. In the case that the angles of both the polarization direction of the fundamental wave and the O-axial of LBO with respect the incident plane are equal and less than five degrees and the incident angle less than 30 degrees, the effects can be neglected. Conditions that can avoid the effect of the polarization characteristics of the output mirror coating on the second harmonic generation are also given. 相似文献
