为了满足超远程和高速空间激光通信的需求,设计了一种以1.06 m光纤激光4支路相控阵作为发射源的通信系统结构。采用53 Mb/s、120 Mb/s、155 Mb/s速率调制的伪随机序列,实验了相控阵种子源和一条支路处调制的2种方案。结果表明:相同速率下,种子源调制的接收眼图质量较好,通过相位控制,可以进一步提高接收质量。实验中,研究了2条支路光分别调制的相控阵多载波特性,调制信号采用5/5.08 MHz及20/40 MHz两组正弦波,经光束合成和相位控制,在接收端观测到相应的频域信号。实验初步验证了光纤激光相控阵空间通信系统的可行性。  相似文献

We report 20 Gb/s transmission of four-level pulse amplitude modulation(PAM) signal using a directly modulated tunable distributed Bragg reflector(DBR) laser. Transmission distance over 20 km was achieved without using optical amplifiers and optical dispersion compensation modules. A wavelength tuning range of 11.5 nm and a 3 dB bandwidth greater than 10 GHz over the entire wavelength tuning range were obtained.  相似文献

以光正交频分复用信号作为光标记,利用两个不同波长的光载波分别经过强度调制,产生了10 Gb/sOOK光载荷和2.5 Gb/sOFDM光标记。测得了光分组信号经光纤传输前后接收载荷的眼图和标记的星座图以及误码率曲线,结果表明:经过40 km光纤传输后,载荷与标记的功率代价分别为1dB和0.5dB。  相似文献

采用光束整形和空间合束的方法,研制出高功率、高效率多阵列光纤耦合半导体激光模块。将波长为976nm连续工作的5个标准半导体阵列,通过对快轴进行准直和快慢轴光束旋转的方式进行光束整形,准直后进行空间合束,经耦合透镜聚焦,耦合入芯径400μm、数值孔径0.22的光纤。测量结果显示:光纤的出光功率最大可达到327 W,光纤耦合效率大于93.6%。  相似文献

In this investigation, we propose and investigate the simple self-injection locked Fabry-Perot laser diodes (FP-LDs) in optical line terminal (OLT); and wavelength-tunable optical network unit (ONU) using reflective optical semiconductor amplifier (RSOA) and FP-LD laser for downstream and upstream traffic in long reach (LR) wavelength division multiplexed-passive optical network (WDM-PON) respectively. The output performance of the proposed two laser sources in terms of power and side-mode suppression ratio (SMSR) has been discussed. Here, for the downstream traffic, the proposed optical transmitter can be directly modulated at 2.5 Gb/s on-off keying (OOK) format with nearly 0.4 dB power penalty at bit error rate (BER) of 10−9 through 75 km single-mode fiber (SMF) transmission. Moreover, the proposed upstream transmitter can be directly modulated at 1.25 and 2.5 Gb/s with nearly 0.5 and 1.1 dB power penalty, respectively, at the BER of 10−9.  相似文献

 分析了连续激光辐照ZnSe/MgF2/K9滤光片引起透射特性的变化。在室温条件下,用波长0.632 8μm激光作为探测光束,测量了1.06μm连续激光辐照ZnSe/MgF2/K9滤光片温升引起薄膜折射率的改变,导致探测光束通过干涉滤光片后透过率的热致非线性变化。在光斑直径0.75mm条件下,测量了不同功率激光辐照ZnSe/MgF2/K9滤光片引起温升随时间的变化。在激光功率30W,辐照时间2.52s条件下,实验观测到ZnSe/MgF2/K9滤光片薄膜破坏温度约为90℃,辐照时间10s时干涉滤光片形成的薄膜龟裂形貌。  相似文献

高级多电平调制格式在海上高速和高光谱效率的光通信中已经显示出巨大的潜力。将正交相移键控(QPSK)调制格式引入自由空间光(FSO)通信,实验证明可实现高达50 Gbit/s的高速FSO传输链路,能够清楚地观察到所发送的QPSK信号的眼图和星座图。通过比较传输之前和之后的误码率曲线,可以发现接收灵敏度都小于-36.7 dBm。当误码率为3.8×10-3时,它们的功率损失都小于4.2 dB。  相似文献

为进一步提高光纤耦合半导体激光器的输出功率,提出了一种多单管半导体激光器通过台阶分布、光束精密准直及自由空间合束实现高功率光纤耦合输出的方法,该方法具有结构简单、光学元件易于加工、耦合效率高等优点。采用这种方法对5只封装在次热沉上的单管半导体激光器开展了芯径100μm、数值孔径0.22多模光纤的耦合实验研究,当工作电流为7.0 A时,光纤连续输出功率为21.8 W,亮度为1.83 MW/(cm~2·sr),耦合效率为70.32%。  相似文献

激光汇聚铬原子沉积实验中,铬原子束准直度的好坏非常重要.利用蒙特卡罗随机思想选取原子轨迹初始条件,将52Cr原子以外的其他同位素、纵向速度分布和横向发散角等因素综合考虑,对铬原子束横向一维激光冷却进行了优化分析.经过与均匀取值法比较,这种方法能够更好地体现原子运动的不确定性,挑选出不参与冷却过程的同位素,使考察界面内原子束的横向位置分布更好的符合实验结果.结果显示,冷却过程中其他同位素的存在使原子束横向位置分布的中心最大值减小9.3%,半高宽增加11%,并且增加轮廓曲线的基底. 关键词: 激光冷却 蒙特卡罗方法 铬原子束  相似文献

利用多普勒原理对Cr原子束进行横向准直.应用激光感生荧光技术稳定激光器的频率,把激光器的中心频率稳定在偏离Cr原子共振中心频率-5±0.26MHz的位置.根据理论计算出准直激光束的最小尺寸为13.7mm.根据实验数据选择合适的参数,实现利用多普勒原理横向准直Cr原子束,使原子束的横向分布缩小到原来的1/3. 关键词: 激光准直 激光感生荧光稳频 多普勒冷却  相似文献

We propose and demonstrate a 10 Gb/s wavelength division multiplexed passive optical network (WDM-PON) where subcarriers are employed to transmit the downstream data and optical carriers of the downlink subcarrier modulated (SCM) lights are reused to injection lock Fabry-Perot laser diodes (FP-LDs) for uplink transmission. Experiment results show that a very good BER performance can be achieved for both uplink and downlink at 10 Gb/s. The impact of optical carrier to subcarrier ratio and wavelength mismatching is also investigated.  相似文献

针对目前高速率信息传输的迫切需求,设计并实验了两路数字信号密集波分复用(DWDM)的大气激光通信结构。两路激光波长分别为1 539.76 nm和1 540.55 nm,采用强度调制,光信号经复用和放大后,由光学天线发射,经1 km大气信道传输,在接收端对光谱、波形和眼图进行了测量。实验结果显示,在弱湍流情况下,实现了两路光信号的解复用,并得到了较为清晰的波形图和眼图。两路数字信号的传输速率为20 Gbit/s时,Q因子仍达到5以上。  相似文献

It is presented the experiment of all-optical demultiplexing of one 2.5 Gb/s channel from an 8×2.5 Gb/s OTDM data stream using nonlinear optical loop morror with 3 km dispersion shifted fiber. Bit error rate (BER) of the demultiplexed channel is measured. A BER of 10-11 is achieved and the power penalty is only 1.4 dB when BER is 10-9.  相似文献

对光外差法生成微波/毫米波技术中的偏振失谐进行了分析. 首次推导出偏振失谐对微波/毫米波功率影响的计算公式. 利用自行制作的基于双波长保偏光纤光栅激光器的微波/毫米波发生器生成30 GHz左右的微波/毫米波信号, 其偏振失谐的实验结果与理论分析结果一致, 证明了理论分析的正确性. 最后, 应用分析结果模拟仿真了偏振失谐对60 GHz毫米波信号的影响, 得出了不同情况下系统的误码率及不同传输距离下的眼图. 结果表明, 在光纤无线传输链路中采用偏振失谐控制技术会大大提高链路的可靠性, 在对链路进行偏振失谐控制的前提下, 传输30 km仍可保持误码率10-9以及很好的眼图, 说明了偏振失谐控制的重要性.  相似文献

We demonstrate an atom laser using all-optical techniques. A Bose-Einstein condensate of rubidium atoms is created by direct evaporative cooling in a quasistatic dipole trap realized with a single, tightly focused CO2-laser beam. An applied magnetic field gradient allows the formation of the condensate in a field-insensitive m(F)=0 spin projection only, which suppresses fluctuations of the chemical potential from stray magnetic fields. A collimated and monoenergetic beam of atoms is extracted from the Bose-Einstein condensate by continuously lowering the dipole trapping potential in a controlled way to form a novel type of atom laser.  相似文献

The transmission of 40 Gb/s wavelength multiplexed channels under vestigial single side band modulation format is transmitted over long haul optically amplified fiber systems. Bit-error-rate (BER) of 10−12 or better can be achieved across all channels. Optical filters are designed with asymmetric roll-off bands. Simulations of the transmission performance, BER versus receiver sensitivity are demonstrated with wavelength channel spacing of 20–40 GHz. An optical filter, whose passband is 28 GHz and 20 dB cut-off band, performs best for 40 Gb/s bit rate due to optimum filtering and minimum noise contribution. Furthermore the single-sideband property of VSB format can assist linear equalization by electronic processing. The transmission performance is accurately evaluated based on the eye opening using a fast statistical method based on an equivalent Gaussian probability density distribution (pdf) which is derived from multiple peaks pdf of distorted eye diagram.  相似文献

We introduce a novel method to generate the optical vortex with computer-generated hologram (CGH) fabricated inside glass by femtosecond laser pulses. The CGH was directly written inside glass by femtosecond laser pulses induced microexplosion without any pre- or post-treatment of the material. We also realized the restructured optical vortex beams of both the transmission and reflection pattern with high fidelity using a collimated He-Ne laser beam. The total diffractive efficiency of both the transmission and reflection pattern is about 4.79%.  相似文献

This paper presents the comparative investigation and suitability of various data formats for optical soliton transmission links at 10 Gb/s for different chirps (−0.7 to 0.7). Here the investigations focused on data formats: NRZ, RZ soliton, RZ raised cosine and RZ super Gaussian. The comparative results and suitability of data formats is based on various performance measures such as Q-factor, eye opening, BER and jitter. It has been indicated that RZ super Gaussian yields the highest value of Q (34.08 dB), good eye opening and lowest BER.  相似文献
