In a fuzzy cooperative game the players may choose to partially participate in a coalition. A fuzzy coalition consists of a group of participating players along with their participation level. The characteristic function of a fuzzy game specifies the worth of each such coalition. This paper introduces well-known properties of classical cooperative games to the theory of fuzzy games, and studies their interrelations. It deals with convex games, exact games, games with a large core, extendable games and games with a stable core.  相似文献

Monitoring cooperative equilibria in a stochastic differential game   总被引:1,自引:0,他引:1  
This paper deals with a class of equilibria which are based on the use of memory strategies in the context of continuous-time stochastic differential games. In order to get interpretable results, we will focus the study on a stochastic differential game model of the exploitation of one species of fish by two competing fisheries. We explore the possibility of defining a so-called cooperative equilibrium, which will implement a fishing agreement. In order to obtain that equilibrium, one defines a monitoring variable and an associated retaliation scheme. Depending on the value of the monitoring variable, which provides some evidence of a deviation from the agreement, the probability increases that the mode of a game will change from a cooperative to a punitive one. Both the monitoring variable and the parameters of this jump process are design elements of the cooperative equilibrium. A cooperative equilibrium designed in this way is a solution concept for a switching diffusion game. We solve that game using the sufficient conditions for a feedback equilibrium which are given by a set of coupled HJB equations. A numerical analysis, approximating the solution of the HJB equations through an associated Markov game, enables us to show that there exist cooperative equilibria which dominate the classical feedback Nash equilibrium of the original diffusion game model.This research was supported by FNRS-Switzerland, NSERC-Canada, FCAR-Quebec.  相似文献

In this paper, we analyze core solution concepts for vector-valued cooperative games. In these games, the worth of a coalition is given by a vector rather than by a scalar. Thus, the classical concepts in cooperative game theory have to be revisited and redefined; the important principles of individual and collective rationality must be accommodated; moreover, the sense given to the domination relationship gives rise to two different theories. Although different, we show the areas which they share. This analysis permits us to propose a common solution concept that is analogous to the core for scalar cooperative games.  相似文献

Two operators on the set ofn-person cooperative games are introduced, the minimarg operator and the maximarg operator. These operators can be seen as dual to each other. Some nice properties of these operators are given, and classes of games for which these operators yield convex (respectively, concave) games are considered. It is shown that, if these operators are applied iteratively on a game, in the limit one will yield a convex game and the other a concave game, and these two games will be dual to each other. Furthermore, it is proved that the convex games are precisely the fixed points of the minimarg operator and that the concave games are precisely the fixed points of the maximarg operator.  相似文献

Subgame Consistent Cooperative Solutions in Stochastic Differential Games   总被引:3,自引:1,他引:2  
Subgame consistency is a fundamental element in the solution of cooperative stochastic differential games. In particular, it ensures that: (i) the extension of the solution policy to a later starting time and to any possible state brought about by the prior optimal behavior of the players would remain optimal; (ii) all players do not have incentive to deviate from the initial plan. In this paper, we develop a mechanism for the derivation of the payoff distribution procedures of subgame consistent solutions in stochastic differential games with transferable payoffs. The payoff distribution procedure of the subgame consistent solution can be identified analytically under different optimality principles. Demonstration of the use of the technique for specific optimality principles is shown with an explicitly solvable game. For the first time, analytically tractable solutions of cooperative stochastic differential games with subgame consistency are derived.  相似文献

Abstract

The allocation problem of rewards or costs is a central question for individuals and organizations contemplating cooperation under uncertainty. The involvement of uncertainty in cooperative games is motivated by the real world where noise in observation and experimental design, incomplete information and further vagueness in preference structures and decision-making play an important role. The theory of cooperative ellipsoidal games provides a new game theoretical angle and suitable tools for answering this question. In this paper, some solution concepts using ellipsoids, namely the ellipsoidal imputation set, the ellipsoidal dominance core and the ellipsoidal stable sets for cooperative ellipsoidal games, are introduced and studied. The main results contained in the paper are the relations between the ellipsoidal core, the ellipsoidal dominance core and the ellipsoidal stable sets of such a game.  相似文献

We present a class of countable state space stochastic games with discontinuous payoff functions satisfying some assumptions similar to the ones of Nikaido and Isoda for one-stage games. We prove that these games possess stationary equilibria. We show that after adding some concavity assumptions these equilibria are nonrandomized. Further, we present an example of input (or production) dynamic game satisfying the assumptions of our model. We give a closed-form solution for this game.  相似文献

Uncertainty is a daily presence in the real world. It affects our decision-making and may have influence on cooperation. On many occasions, uncertainty is so severe that we can only predict some upper and lower bounds for the outcome of our actions, i.e. payoffs lie in some intervals. A suitable game theoretic model to support decision-making in collaborative situations with interval data is that of cooperative interval games. Solution concepts that associate with each cooperative interval game sets of interval allocations with appealing properties provide a natural way to capture the uncertainty of coalition values into the players’ payoffs. In this paper, the relations between some set-valued solution concepts using interval payoffs, namely the interval core, the interval dominance core, the square interval dominance core and the interval stable sets for cooperative interval games, are studied. It is shown that the interval core is the unique stable set on the class of convex interval games.  相似文献

A multichoice game is a generalization of a cooperative TU game in which each player has several activity levels. We study the solution for these games proposed by Van Den Nouweland et al. (1995) [Van Den Nouweland, A., Potters, J., Tijs, S., Zarzuelo, J.M., 1995. Cores and related solution concepts for multi-choice games. ZOR-Mathematical Methods of Operations Research 41, 289–311]. We show that this solution applied to the discrete cost sharing model coincides with the Aumann-Shapley method proposed by Moulin (1995) [Moulin, H., 1995. On additive methods to share joint costs. The Japanese Economic Review 46, 303–332]. Also, we show that the Aumann-Shapley value for continuum games can be obtained as the limit of multichoice values for admissible convergence sequences of multichoice games. Finally, we characterize this solution by using the axioms of balanced contributions and efficiency.  相似文献

A solution f for cooperative games is a minimum norm solution, if the space of games has a norm such that f(v) minimizes the distance (induced by the norm) between the game v and the set of additive games. We show that each linear solution having the inessential game property is a minimum norm solution. Conversely, if the space of games has a norm, then the minimum norm solution w.r.t. this norm is linear and has the inessential game property. Both claims remain valid also if solutions are required to be efficient. A minimum norm solution, the least square solution, is given an axiomatic characterization.   相似文献

This paper introduces and studies the compromise value for cooperative games with random payoffs, that is, for cooperative games where the payoff to a coalition of players is a random variable. This value is a compromise between utopia payoffs and minimal rights and its definition is based on the compromise value for NTU games and the τ-value for TU games. It is shown that the nonempty core of a cooperative game with random payoffs is bounded by the utopia payoffs and the minimal rights. Consequently, for such games the compromise value exists. Further, we show that the compromise value of a cooperative game with random payoffs coincides with the τ-value of a related TU game if the players have a certain type of preferences. Finally, the compromise value and the marginal value, which is defined as the average of the marginal vectors, coincide on the class of two-person games. In this paper we analyze cooperative games whose characteristic function takes values in a partially ordered linear space. Thus, the classical solution concepts in cooperative game theory have to be revisited and redefined: the core concept, Shapley–Bondareva theorem and the Shapley value are extended for this class of games. The classes of standard, vector-valued and stochastic cooperative games among others are particular cases of this general theory. 本文给出了基于个人超出值的无限模糊联盟合作博弈最小二乘预核仁的求解模型,得到该模型的显式解析解,并研究该解的若干重要性质。证明了:本文给出的无限模糊联盟合作博弈的最小二乘预核仁与基于个人超出值的相等解(The equalizer solution),基于个人超出值的字典序解三者相等。进一步证明了:基于Owen线性多维扩展的无限模糊联盟合作博弈的最小二乘预核仁与基于个人超出值的经典合作博弈最小二乘预核仁相等。最后,通过数值实例说明本文提出的无限模糊联盟合作博弈求解模型的实用性与有效性。  相似文献

In this paper, we introduce situations involving the linear transformation of products (LTP). LTP situations are production situations where each producer has a single linear transformation technique. First, we approach LTP situations from a (cooperative) game theoretical point of view. We show that the corresponding LTP games are totally balanced. By extending an LTP situation to one where a producer may have more than one linear transformation technique, we derive a new characterization of (nonnegative) totally balanced games: each totally balanced game with nonnegative values is a game corresponding to such an extended LTP situation. The second approach to LTP situations is based on a more economic point of view. We relate (standard) LTP situations to economies in two ways and we prove that the economies are standard exchange economies (with production). Relations between the equilibria of these economies and the cores of cooperative LTP games are investigated.  相似文献

Part II of the paper (for Part I see Harsanyi (1982)) describes the actual solutions the Harsanyi-Selten solution theory provides for some important classes of bargaining games, such as unanimity games; trade between one seller and several potential buyers; and two-person bargaining games with incomplete information on one side or on both sides. It also discusses some concepts and theorems useful in computing the solution; and explains how our concept of risk dominance enables us to analyze game situations in terms of some intuitively very compelling probabilistic (subjective-probability) considerations disallowed by classical game theory.  相似文献

区间合作对策,是研究当联盟收益值为区间数情形时如何进行合理收益分配的数学模型。近年来,其解的存在性与合理性等问题引起了国内外专家的广泛关注。区间核心,是区间合作对策中一个非常稳定的集值解概念。本文首先针对区间核心的存在性进行深入的讨论,通过引入强非均衡,极小强均衡,模单调等概念,从不同角度给出判别区间核心存在性的充分条件。其次,通过引入相关参数,定义了广义区间核心,并给出定理讨论了区间核心与广义区间核心的存在关系。本文的结论将为进一步推动区间合作对策的发展,为解决区间不确定情形下的收益分配问题奠定理论基础。  相似文献

In this paper, we present a new approach to n-person games based on the Habitual domain theory. Unlike the traditional game theory models, the constructed model captures the fact that the underlying changes in the psychological aspects and mind states of the players over the arriving events are the key factors, which determine the dynamic process of coalition formation. We introduce two new concepts of solution for games: strategically stable mind profile and structurally stable mind profile. The theory introduced in this paper overcomes the dichotomy of non-cooperative/cooperative games, prevailing in the existing game theory, which makes game theory more applicable to real-world game situations.  相似文献

Assignment problems where both sets of agents that have to be matched are countably infinite, the so-called infinite assignment problems, are studied as well as the related cooperative assignment games. Further, several solution concepts for these assignment games are studied. The first one is the utopia payoff for games with an infinite value. In this solution each player receives the maximal amount he can think of with respect to the underlying assignment problem. This solution is contained in the core of the game. Second, we study two solutions for assignment games with a finite value. Our main result is the existence of core-elements of these games, although they are hard to calculate. Therefore another solution, the f-strong ε-core is studied. This particular solution takes into account that due to organisational limitations it seems reasonable that only finite groups of agents will eventually protest against unfair proposals of profit distributions. The f-strong ε-core is shown to be nonempty.
