A Fixed Point Approach to the Fuzzy Stability of a Mixed Typ e Functional Equation

Through the paper, a general solution of a mixed type functional equation in fuzzy Banach space is obtained and by using the fixed point method a generalized Hyers-Ulam-Rassias stability of the mixed type functional equation in fuzzy Banach space is proved.     

Analytical results for quadratic integral equations with phase--lag term

In the present paper, we are concerning with a quadratic integral equation with phase--lag term. In the following pages, sufficient conditions are given for the existence of positive continuous solution to quadratic integral equations. The method used here depends on both Tychonoff fixed point principle and Arzela--Ascoli theorem. A concrete example illustrating the mentioned applicability is also included.     

A fixed point approach to stability of a quadratic equation

Using the fixed point alternative theorem we establish the orthogonal stability of the quadratic functional equation of Pexider type f (x+y)+g(x−y) = h(x)+k(y), where f, g, h, k are mappings from a symmetric orthogonality space to a Banach space, by orthogonal additive mappings under a necessary and sufficient condition on f.     

The attractivity of functional hereditary integral equations

In this paper, the problem of attractivity of solutions for functional hereditary integral equations is initiated. A hereditary integral equation is converted into a second kind Volterra integral equation of convolution type by use of the property of convolution. Sufficient conditions for the existence of attractive solutions are established according to the fixed point theorem. The conclusions presented in this paper extend some published results. The effectiveness of the proposed results is illustrated by three numerical examples.     

Existence of Positive Solutions to Fourth Order Quasilinear Boundary Value Problems

In this paper, we generalize the fixed point theorem of cone expansion and compression of norm type to the theorem of functional type. As an application, the existence of positive solutions for some fourth-order beam equation boundary value problems is obtained. The emphasis is put on that the nonlinear term is dependent on all lower order derivatives.

In this paper, we discuss the existence of mild solution of functional integrodifferential equation with nonlocal conditions. To establish this results by using the resolvent operator theory and Sadovskii-Krasnosel'skii type of fixed point theorem and to show the usefulness and the applicability of our results to a broad class of functional integrodifferential equations, an example is given to illustrate the theory.
