模式耦合理论在圆周对称长周期光纤光栅建模中的应用 总被引:4,自引:0,他引:4
长周期光纤光栅是不同于光纤Bragg光栅的一种光纤光栅器件 ,根据模式耦合理论 ,长周期光纤光栅表现为前向传播的纤芯导模和同向的各阶次包层模式之间的耦合。分析研究了长周期光纤光栅轴向的模场变化。忽略轴向的模式耦合以及包层模式之间的相互耦合作用 ,并认为折射率指数的调制只存在于纤芯中 ,建立了简化的长周期光纤光栅数学模型。对圆周对称轴向均匀型长周期光纤光栅谱特性进行了仿真 ,其结果与实验结果基本吻合 ,表明了简化的数学模型的合理性 相似文献

采用简化的三层光纤模型,从模式理论和耦合模理论出发,分析了长周期光纤光栅的耦合特性及功率透射谱,给出了长周期光栅的主要特性参数。利用计算机建模,采用Matlab软件对实用的SMF 28单模光纤加以特定的光栅折射率调制参数进行数值计算,并采用振幅掩模法刻写长周期光纤光栅进行实验验证,计算结果与实验结果相吻合。 相似文献

利用模式耦合理率推导出长周期光纤光栅(LPG)温度特性的一般关系式;通过测试周期为400 ̄600μm的长周期光纤光栅的温度特性,确定了芯内导模与被耦合的不同包层模间的热光系数差,并结合长周期光栅温度特性关系式总结出长周期光栅温度灵繁度与光栅周期和耦合包层模阶次的对应关系;在理论与实验的基础上,提出了改善长周期光栅温度稳定性的方法。 相似文献

建立了长周期光纤光栅傅里叶模式耦合理论.在分析同向模式耦合时,发现了同向耦合模式的振幅系数间存在傅里叶变换关系.推导了长周期光纤光栅的同向耦合谱和透射谱的通用表达式.该理论是用傅里叶变换分析得出长周期光纤光栅折射率微扰的空域谱,再对该空域谱进行模式同向耦合分析,从而得到长周期光纤光栅光谱特性的通用表达式.根据该理论模拟分析了长周期光纤光栅在不同长度和微扰幅值时的光谱特性,与传统耦合模理论进行了对比分析.结果表明,该长周期光纤光栅傅里叶模式耦合理论具有简单、精确和高效的特点,与实际长周期光纤光栅的透射谱特性一致.应用该理论可分析无过耦合的任意轴向折射率微扰分布的长周期光纤光栅光谱特性. 相似文献

Grating spacing dependence of nonvolatile holographic recording in doubly doped lithium niobate crystals is theoretically investigated allowing arbitrary charge transport lengths. It is shown that the nonvolatile refractive index modulation initially increases with increasing grating spacing, then a saturation behavior arises because of the dominant bulk photovoltaic effect. Although different charge transport length results in different nonvolatile refractive index modulation, the grating spacing dependence of nonvolatile holographic recording obeys almost the same rules for arbitrary charge transport lengths. The experimental results obtained by recording nonvolatile holograms in LiNbO3:Cu:Ce crystals with different grating spacing are consistent with the theoretical analyses. 相似文献

研制了一种双套管式光纤Bragg光栅温度传感器,以实现无外力作用的温度测量。其中外套管隔离外加应力应变,在内套管内松弛地放置光栅以隔离封装结构的表观热应变。引入引出尾纤穿过带孔螺栓,以探测多个串联光栅。为了避免光栅处于张拉状态,封装在外套管1、外套管2和内套管中的光纤余长应分别大于1.4mm,1.8mm和0.4mm。试验结果表明,该光栅传感器的温度响应灵敏度为9.671×10-3nm/℃,温度测量分辨率为0.1℃。当水温从20℃跃变到70℃时,该传感器的温度响应时间分别为t0.5=15±2s和t0.9=52±4s。当水温从70℃跃变到20℃时,该传感器的温度响应时间分别为t0.5=26±9s和t0.9=63±8s。 相似文献

A novel means of producing coherent radiation by passing an electron through a dual-grating resonator is presented, The observed radiation is in accordance with the Smith-Purcell dispersion relation for a single grating. Feedback is provided by a second grating. Experiments carried out at beam energies from 30-55 keV produced radiation at wavelengths from 6 to 0.75 mm. An analytical method is proposed for calculating reflection-spectrum envelope of interleaved sampled gratings with phase-shifts. Effects of parameters on reflection-spectrum envelope of the grating are discussed, such as two grating segment lengths, phase-shift and interleaved length. The unique optimal interleaved length can be obtained to provide the broadest flat-top reflection-spectrum envelope without ripples. Accuracy of the analytical expression is verified due to the calculated results in good agreement with the reflection spectra obtained by the piecewise uniform transform matrix method. 相似文献

This paper presents the modeling and characterization of an optical fiber grating for maximum reflectivity. Grating length and change in refractive index are the critical parameters in contributing to the performance of fiber Bragg grating. The wavelength chosen for analysis is from the third window to minimize the attenuation. The reflection spectra, bandwidth and side lobes strength were analyzed with different lengths and change in refractive index. In this paper, we analyzed the properties of fiber Bragg grating F-P cavity with different grating parameters at two ends. The features of transmission spectra and group velocity were investigated under different parameters including slight increase for the differences of the lengths of the two gratings, the periods of the two gratings, the refractive index modulation depths of the two gratings. The characteristics of the slow light in fiber Bragg grating and fiber Bragg grating F-P cavity were also compared. The results of this study can be useful for actual experiments and applications in using the fiber Bragg grating F-P cavity in the slow light. 相似文献

Using a laser-induced grating arrangement we measure the probe beam diffraction intensity under stationary excitation conditions as function of the grating constant. We developed a mathematical model and extract by comparison with experimental data the diffusion lengths of the quasiparticles existing at various temperatures and excitation levels in the CdS sample from the experimental findings. 相似文献
