Sufficient and necessary criteria are established for the uniform stability and uniformly asymptotic stability of solutions of neutral functional differential equations (NFDEs) with finite delay by using the Liapunov functional approach. Our investigation concerns the three-dimensional delayed continuous time dynamical system which models a predator-prey food chain. This model is based on the Holling-type II and a Leslie-Gower modified functional response. This model can be considered as a first step towards a tritrophic model (of Leslie-Gower and Holling-Tanner type) with inverse trophic relation and time delay. That is when a certain species that is usually eaten can consume immature predators. It is proved that the system is uniformly persistent under some appropriate conditions. By constructing a proper Lyapunov function, we obtain a sufficient condition for global stability of the positive equilibrium.  相似文献

We study a system(D)x′=F(t,x t) of functional differential equations, together with a scalar equation(S)x′=−a(t)f(x)+b(t)g(x(t−h)) as well as perturbed forms. A Liapunov functional is constructed which has a derivative of a nature that has been widely discussed in the literature. A two-species ratio-dependent predator-prey model with distributed time delay is investigated. We derive explicit stability conditions for semilinear delay difference equations in a Banach space. It is assumed that the nonlinearities of the considered equations satisfy the local Lipschitz condition. By virtue of the new estimates for the norm of functions of quasi-Hermitian operators, explicit stability and boundedness conditions are given.
