Persistence and global stability for n-species ratio-dependent predator-prey system with time delays

A n-species ratio-dependent predator-prey food-chain model with time delays is investigated. It is shown that the system is permanent under some appropriate conditions, and sufficient conditions are obtained for the global stability of the positive equilibrium of the system.

研究一类具有时滞和基于比率的三种群食物链捕食-被捕食动力学模型.证明了该系统在适当条件下的一致持久性;通过构造Lyapunov泛函,得到了该系统正平衡点全局渐近稳定的充分条件.     

Persistence and Global Stability in a Delayed Gause-Type Predator-Prey System without Dominating Instantaneous Negative Feedbacks

A delayed Gause-type predator-prey system without dominating instantaneous negative feedbacks is investigated. It is proved that the system is uniformly persistent under some appropriate conditions. By means of constructing a suitable Lyapunov functional, sufficient conditions are derived for the local and global asymptotic stability of the positive equilibrium of the system.

借助于李雅普诺夫函数讨论了一类非线性动力系统的实用稳定性和实用稳定域的估计问题,得到了实用稳定域存在的充分条件,给出了一类动力系统实用稳定域的具体形式.通过具体实例说明了所给条件的实用性,改进了已有的结果.     

STABILITY PROPERTY OF A PREDATOR-PREY SYSTEM WITH A CONSTANT PROPORTION OF PREY REFUGE AND STAGE-STRUCTURE FOR PREY SPECIES

A predator-prey system with a constant proportion of prey refuge and stage-structure for prey species is proposed and studied in this paper. A set of conditions for the permanence of the system is obtained. The local stability of the system is discussed by the sign of eigenvalues. Furthermore, by using the iterative method, some suitable sufficient conditions for the global attractivity of the interior equilibrium is obtained. Our study shows that the constant proportion of prey refuge could lead to more complicate dynamic behaviors. Numerical simulations are also presented to illustrate the feasibility of the main results.     

EXISTENCE AND STABILITY OF PERIODIC ORBITS FOR A PERTURBED FOUR-DIMENSIONAL SYSTEM

The purpose of this paper is to study periodic orbits of a perturbed four- dimensional system.Using bifurcation methods and the integral manifold theory,sufficient conditions for the existence and stability of periodic orbits of the perturbed four-dimensional system are obtained.

A three-species ratio-dependent predator-prey diffusion model with time de-lays is investigated. It is shown that the system is uniformly persistent under some ap-propriate conditions, and sufficient conditions are obtained for the global stability of the positive equilibrium of the system.

Stability results of a distributed problem involving Bresse system with history and/or Cattaneo law under fully Dirichlet or mixed boundary conditions

In this paper, we study the stability of a 1‐dimensional Bresse system with infinite memory‐type control and/or with heat conduction given by Cattaneo's law acting in the shear angle displacement. When the thermal effect vanishes, the system becomes elastic with memory term acting on one equation. We consider the interesting case of fully Dirichlet boundary conditions. Indeed, under equal speed of propagation condition, we establish the exponential stability of the system. However, in the natural physical case when the speeds of propagation are different, using a spectrum method, we show that the Bresse system is not uniformly exponentially stable. In this case, we establish a polynomial energy decay rate. Our study is valid for all other mixed boundary conditions.

Delay-dependent and delay-independent stability criteria for a delay differential system

For a linear delay differential system with two coefficients and one delay, we establish some necessary and sufficient conditions on the asymptotic stability of the zero solution, which are composed of delay-dependent and delay-independent stability criteria. On the former criterion, the range of the delay is explicitly given.

Robust Stability and Stabilization of a Class of Nonlinear Itô-Type Stochastic Systems via Linear Matrix Inequalities

This article presents a new approach to robust quadratic stabilization of nonlinear stochastic systems. The linear rate vector of a stochastic system is perturbed by a nonlinear function, and this nonlinear function satisfies a quadratic constraint. Our objective is to show how linear constant feedback laws can be formulated to stabilize this type of stochastic systems and, at the same time maximize the bounds on this nonlinear perturbing function which the system can tolerate without becoming unstable. The new formulation provides a suitable setting for robust stabilization of nonlinear stochastic systems where the underlying deterministic systems satisfy the generalized matching conditions. Our sufficient conditions are written in matrix forms, which are determined by solving linear matrix inequalities (LMIs), which have significant computational advantage over any other existing techniques. Examples are given to demonstrate the results.

Leakage delays in BAM

A well known bidirectional associative memory (BAM) model is generalized with the introduction of discrete time delays in the leakage (or forgetting) terms. By using a model transformation, the system is converted to one of a neutral delay system. Two sets of delay dependent sufficient conditions are derived for the existence of a unique equilibrium as well as its asymptotic and exponential stability. The methods of degenerate Lyapunov-Kravsovskii functionals and inequalities together with some properties of M-matrices are used in the derivation of sufficient conditions. In the absence of leakage delays, the sufficient conditions lead to some known sufficient conditions.
