A nanocomposite (Ho2O3NPs/BNT) was synthesized by decorating holmium(III)oxide nanoparticles (H2O3NPs) on bentonite (BNT) through a realizable sonochemical approach for the electrochemical detection of haloperidol (Hlp). A glassy carbon electrode was modified with this nanocomposite. The Ho2O3NPs/BNT modified electrode outperformed bare and other modified electrodes in terms of electrochemical performance for Hlp detection in a pH 8.0 phosphate buffer. The proposed electrochemical platform showed a wide linear range (0.01 μM–24 μM), low detection limit (2.4 nM), and high sensitivity by square wave voltammetry. In addition, the proposed electrochemical sensor met the clinical criteria in terms of stability, selectivity, and repeatability.  相似文献

Calixarenes, which have a great place in supramolecular chemistry, have become the most prominent macrocyclic compounds in synthetic organic chemistry due to their easy synthesis and functionalization. In this study, p-tert-butyl calix[4]arene dihydrazide derivative was synthesized and then reacted with 3-oxo-3,4-dihydro-2 H-benzo[b][1,4] thiazin-2-ylideneacetyl chloride to prepare new calixarene based chromophore compound 4. The structure of the synthesized compound was elucidated by spectroscopic methods such as 1H NMR 13C NMR and FT-IR spectroscopy. Chromogenic and fluorescence properties of compound 4 were evaluated. It was observed from both studies that compound 4 was Co2+ selective and shows fluorescence Switched-off behavior. Stoichiometry, binding constant and the detection limit were calculated. The stoichiometry between compound 4 and Co2+ was found to be 1:1. The binding constant value (K) was calculated as 666.67 M??1 using Benesi–Hildebrand equation, while the detection limit for Co2+ ion was calculated as 0.0465 µM.

We report the structure and thermal properties of blends comprising poly(vinylidene fluoride) (PVDF) and a random fluorinated copolymer (FCP) of poly(methyl methacrylate)‐random‐1H,1H,2H,2H‐perfluorodecyl methacrylate, promising membrane materials for oil–water separation. The roles of processing method and copolymer content on structure and properties were studied for fibrous membranes and films with varying compositions. Bead‐free, nonwoven fibrous membranes were obtained by electrospinning. Fiber diameters ranged from 0.4 to 1.9 μm, and thinner fibers were obtained for PVDF content >80%. As copolymer content increased, degree of crystallinity and onset of degradation for each blend decreased. Processing conditions have a greater impact on the crystallographic phase of PVDF than copolymer content. Fibers have polar beta phase; solution‐cast films contain gamma and beta phase; and melt crystallized films form alpha phase. Kwei's model was used to model the glass transition temperatures of the blends. Addition of FCP increases hydrophobicity of the electrospun membranes. © 2019 Wiley Periodicals, Inc. J. Polym. Viscosities of ternary systems consist of polycarbonate (PC)/brominated polystyrene (PBrS) in chloroform and their corresponding binary systems were measured at different temperatures (20, 25, and 30°C). All the measurements were carried out at the concentration ranges of 0.1–0.6 g·dL?1. The mass ratio of PC to PBrS was selected as 75:25, 50:50, and 25:75 in the ternary solutions. Two empirical expressions of Huggins and Kraemer equations with three-parameters were used for reproducing of the experimental viscosity data. The fitting parameters were obtained for the corresponding temperatures. The miscibility criteria on the basis of the sign of Δ[η]m based on the difference between experimental and ideal values of [η]m, was calculated by applying the Garcia et al., theoretical equation. The effect of temperature on the viscosity data was also studied. The results from this method were correlated with the miscibility data obtained for the same system by differential scanning calorimeter (DSC) findings.  相似文献

In this study, different cultivation systems such as roller bottles (RB), 5-L stirred-tank bioreactor (STR), and disposable bioreactors were used to cultivate hybridoma for lab-scale production of Salmonella Enteritidis O-antigen-specific monoclonal antibody (MAb). Hybridoma cell line was cultivated in either serum-containing or serum-free medium (SFM) culture conditions. In STR, MAb production scaled up to 4 L, and production capabilities of the cells were also evaluated in different featured production systems. Moreover, the growth parameters of the cells in all production systems such as glucose consumption, lactate and ammonia production, and also MAb productivities were determined. Collected supernatants from the reactors were concentrated by a cross-flow filtration system. In conclusion, cells were not adapted to SFM in RB and STR. Therefore, less MAb titer in both STR and RB systems with SFM was observed compared to the cultures containing fetal bovine serum-supplemented medium. A higher MAb titer was gained in the membrane-aerated system compared to those in STR and RB. Although the highest MAb titer was obtained in the static membrane bioreactor system, the highest productivity was obtained in STR operated in semicontinuous mode with overlay aeration.  相似文献

Polymethylmethacrylate (PMMA) films were modified by RF oxygen plasma with various powers applied for different periods, and the effects of these parameters on the surface properties such as hydrophilicity, surface free energy (SFE), chemistry, and topography were investigated by water contact angle, goniometer, X‐ray photoelectron spectroscopy (XPS), and atomic force microscopy, and the types of the created free radicals and their decay were detected by electron spin resonance spectroscopy (ESR). SFE and contact angle results varied depending on the plasma parameters. Oxygen plasma treatment (100 W–30 min) enhanced the hydrophilicity of PMMA surface as shown by decreasing the water contact angle from 70° to 26°. XPS analysis showed the change in the amounts of the present functionalities as well as formation of new groups as free carbonyl and carbonate groups. The roughness of the surface increased considerably from ~2 nm to ~75 nm after 100 W–30 min oxygen plasma treatment. ESR analysis indicated the introduction of peroxy radicals by oxygen plasma treatment, and the intensity of the radicals increased with increasing the applied power. Significant decrease in radical concentration was observed especially for the samples treated with higher powers when the samples were kept under the atmospheric conditions. As a conclusion, RF plasma, causes changes in the chemical and physical properties of the materials depending on the applied parameters, and can be used for the creation of specific groups or radicals to link or immobilize active molecules onto the surface of a material. Development of new generation bionanotextiles is an important growing field, and they have found applications as wound dressings, bandages, tissue scaffolds, etc. In this study, silver nanoparticle (AgNP) containing silk-based bionanotextiles were fabricated by electrospinning, and processing parameters were optimized and discussed in detail. AgNPs were in situ synthesized within fibroin nanofibers by UV reduction of silver ions to metallic silver. The influence of post-treatments via methanol treatment and glutaraldehyde (GA) vapor exhibited changes in the secondary structure of silk. Methanol treatment increased the tensile properties of fibers due to supported crystalline silk structure, while GA vapor promoted amorphous secondary structure. AgNP containing silk fibroin bionanotextiles had strong antibacterial activity against gram-positive Staphylococcus aureus and gram-negative Pseudomonas aeruginosa.  相似文献
