The adsorption and photocatalytic degradation of Ethyl methylphosphonate (EMPA) on powdery TiO2 film has experimentally investigated using attenuated total reflection-infrared Fourier transform spectroscopy (ATR-FTIR) in ambient condition. Characteristic IR frequency as P-O-C vibration mode as EtO was observed by EMPA adsorbed at the surface of TiO2. By TiO2 photocatalysis, the adsorbed EMPA was decomposed to methyl phosphonic acid and phosphoric acid. The increment of IR intensity of which is assigned to Ti–O-P-O-Ti of EMPA was accompanied with increasing the IR peak intensity assigned to MPA. About that, we suggest that the appearance of the Ti–O-P-O-Ti of EMPA by the TiO2 photocatalysis is regarded as acceleration of the hydrolysis of EMPA by the surface OH groups of TiO2. The plausible adsorption structure and the photocatalytic reaction mechanism of EMPA at the surface of TiO2 photocatalyst were elucidated.

Geometric structures and excited-state proton dislocation of size-selected salicylic acid clusters (salicylic acid and 5-methoxysalicylic acid) with water were studied by using laser spectroscopic techniques. Fluorescence excitation, dispersed fluorescence, and infrared (IR) spectra of those clusters in supersonic jets were examined for both the electronic ground (S0) and first excited (S1) states. The geometric structures of the clusters were determined on the basis of the IR spectra of the OH stretch region with the help of quantum chemical calculations. The hydroxyl group of the water moiety in the clusters forms a ring involving the carboxylic group of the salicylic acid moiety. The IR spectra in S0 show that the intramolecular hydrogen bond in the salicylic acid moiety is still held upon cluster formation, but the phenolic OH stretch band intensity is remarkably weaken in the clusters. The IR spectra in the S1 state and dispersed fluorescence spectra indicated that the intramolecular excited state proton dislocation is hardly affected by the microsolvation with water, in contrast with the strong suppression of the dislocation in the self-solvation.  相似文献

A fast disintegrating compressed tablet was formulated using amino acids, such as L-lysine HCl, L-alanine, glycine and L-tyrosine as disintegration accelerator. The tablets having the hardness of about 4 kgf were prepared and the effect of amino acids on the wetting time and disintegration time in the oral cavity of tablets was examined on the basis of surface free energy of amino acids. The wetting time of the tablets increased in the order of L-lysine HCl, L-alanine, glycine and L-tyrosine, whereas the disintegration time in the oral cavity of the tablets increased in the order of L-alanine, glycine, L-lysine HCl and L-tyrosine. These behaviors were well analyzed by the introduction of surface free energy. When the polar component of amino acid was large value or the dispersion component was small value, faster wetting of tablet was observed. When the dispersion component of amino acid was large value or the dispersion component was small value, faster disintegration of tablet was observed, expect of L-tyrosine tablet. The fast disintegration of tablets was explained by the theory presented by Matsumaru.  相似文献

We propose a binary fluorimetric method for DNA and RNA analysis by the combined use of two probes rationally designed to work cooperatively. One probe is an oligonucleotide (ODN) conjugate bearing a β‐cyclodextrin (β‐CyD). The other probe is a small reporter ligand, which comprises linked molecules of a nucleobase‐specific heterocycle and an environment‐sensitive fluorophore. The heterocycle of the reporter ligand recognizes a single nucleobase displayed in a gap on the target labeled with the conjugate and, at the same time, the fluorophore moiety forms a luminous inclusion complex with nearby β‐CyD. Three reporter ligands, MNDS (naphthyridine–dansyl linked ligand), MNDB (naphthyridine–DBD), and DPDB (pyridine–DBD), were used for DNA and RNA probing with 3′‐end or 5′‐end modified β‐CyD – ODN conjugates. For the DNA target, the β‐CyD tethered to the 3′‐end of the ODN facing into the gap interacted with the fluorophore sticking out into the major groove of the gap site ( MNDS and DPDB ). Meanwhile the β‐CyD on the 5′‐end of the ODN interacted with the fluorophore in the minor groove ( MNDB and DPDB ). The results obtained by this study could be a guideline for the design of binary DNA/RNA probe systems based on controlling the proximity of functional molecules.  相似文献

Direct acyl radical formation of linear aldehydes (RCH2‐CHO) and subsequent hydroacylation with electron‐deficient olefins can be effected with various types of metal and nonmetal catalysts/reagents. In marked contrast, however, no successful reports on the use of branched aldehydes have been made thus far because of their strong tendency of generating alkyl radicals through the facile decarbonylation of acyl radicals. Here, use of a hypervalent iodine(III) catalyst under visible light photolysis allows a mild way of generating acyl radicals from various branched aldehydes, thereby giving the corresponding hydroacylated products almost exclusively. Another characteristic feature of this approach is the catalytic use of hypervalent iodine(III) reagent, which is a rare example on the generation of radicals in hypervalent iodine chemistry.  相似文献

Anionic polymerization of methacrylates under sterically confined environment in a spherical beads‐shaped networked polystyrene (NwPS) matrix is described. The initiator used herein is a samarium (Sm) (III) enolate, which was formed by treatment of 2‐bromoisobutylate immobilized in the side chain of NwPS with Sm (II) iodide. By using this NwPS‐bound initiator, polymerization of a series of methacrylates (=solid‐supported polymerization) was studied to find its two aspects: (1) In the early stages, the rate constant for each methacrylate was comparable to that for its conventional solution‐phase polymerization using a Sm (III) enolate, suggesting that methacrylate can be efficiently supplied to the propagating end by its free permeation without any interference by the networked structure of the matrix. (2) After the early stages, the rate constant decreased remarkably, implying that permeation of methacrylate was sterically interfered by the formed poly(methacrylate) that filled the confined space in NwPS, as supported by a SEM image of the resulting beads, of which pores were filled with the formed polymers. © 2009 Wiley Periodicals, Inc. The dynamics on the vacuum-ultraviolet one-photon ionization of a formamide-water cluster is investigated by a combination of theoretical reaction-path search and infrared spectroscopic methods. A keto-enol tautomerization of the formamide moiety occurs after photoionization by a catalytic action of the water molecule accompanied with its long-distance migration; the water molecule in the cluster migrates almost one turn around the formamide moiety. During the migration, the water molecule abstracts the proton of CH in the formamide moiety and carries it to the O atom side in the carbonyl group through a "catch and release"-type catalytic action.  相似文献

In order to develop highly emissive red phosphorescent materials for OLED application, novel bis-cyclometalated iridium(III) complexes were developed using the 1-(dibenzo[b,d]furan-4-yl)isoquinolinato-N,C3′ (dbfiq) cyclometalating ligand. When 1,3-bis(3,4-dibutoxyphenyl)propane-1,3-dionate (bdbp) is employed as an ancillary ligand, Ir(dbfiq)2(bdbp) 1 exhibits red photoluminescence (PL) at 640 nm with a quantum yield (ΦPL) of 0.61 (in toluene, 298 K). Replacement of bdbp to dipivaloylmethanate (dpm) and acetylacetonate (acac) (Ir(dbfiq)2(dpm) 2 and Ir(dbfiq)2(acac) 3, respectively) does not affect the PL spectrum, but reduces ΦPL to 0.55 and 0.49 for 2 and 3, respectively. Similar tendency is also found in the doped poly(methyl methacrylate) (PMMA) film, and 1 is more emissive (ΦPL = 0.17) than 2 and 3 (ΦPL = 0.08 and 0.06, respectively). Using 1 as a phosphorescent dopant, polymer light-emitting diodes (PLEDs) were fabricated, of which structure was ITO/PEDOT:PSS (40 nm)/PVCz:1:PBD (100 nm)/CsF (1 nm)/Al (250 nm). Pure red electroluminescence (EL) is obtained from the fabricated PLEDs, affording a CIE chromaticity coordinate of (0.68, 0.31). When 0.51 mol% of 1 is incorporated in the PVCz-based emitting layer, the PLED shows maximum luminance of 7270 cd m−2 at 16.5 V, power efficiency of 1.4 lm W−1 at 7.5 V, and external quantum efficiency of 6.4% at 9.0 V. PLEDs with the same structure and components were also fabricated using 2 and 3, and their device characteristics were investigated. In proportion to the PL quantum yields, 1 affords better device performance than 2 and 3. Owing to four butoxy groups introduced to the bdbp ligand, 1 exhibits high solubility in organic solvents such as chloroform and toluene, and thus, is an excellent red phosphorescent dopant for solution-processed OLEDs.  相似文献
