Subsurface coherent structures and surface temperatures are investigated using simultaneous measurements of particle image
velocimetry (PIV) and infrared (IR) thermography. Results for coherent structures from acoustic streaming and associated heating
transfer in a rectangular tank with an acoustic horn mounted horizontally at the sidewall are presented. An observed vortex
pair develops and propagates in the direction along the centerline of the horn. From the PIV velocity field data, distinct
kinematic regions are found with the Lagrangian coherent structure (LCS) method. The implications of this analysis with respect

The aim of the paper is to study relations between polynomial solutions of generalized Moisil-Théodoresco (GMT) systems and polynomial solutions of Hodge-de Rham systems and, using these relations, to describe polynomial solutions of GMT systems. Thermal response was measured for a deeply supercooled glycerol specimen by applying calorimetric temperature scanning rate spectroscopy, cooling the specimen from liquid at a slow constant cooling rate until glass transition was observed. The effective fraction of glass as a function of temperature was determined and a new definition of glass transition temperature, TgC, as the temperature at which the effective glass fraction to be 0.5 was presented. The relation between this and the cooling rate showed the Arrhenius behavior. The effective glass fraction curves shifted linearly as a function of ln(cooling rate). When T was scaled to the Lillie Number, the glass fraction lay on a master curve, which was successfully fitted with a Kohlrausch–Williams–Watts function. The Kohlrausch exponent, the relaxation time as a function of temperature and the kinetic fragility index were determined. The results were compared with literature values. 相似文献

Working over a pseudo-Riemannian manifold, for each vector bundle with connection we construct a sequence of three differential
operators which is a complex (termed a Yang-Mills detour complex) if and only if the connection satisfies the full Yang-Mills
equations. A special case is a complex controlling the deformation theory of Yang-Mills connections. In the case of Riemannian
signature the complex is elliptic. If the connection respects a metric on the bundle then the complex is formally self-adjoint.
In dimension 4 the complex is conformally invariant and generalises, to the full Yang-Mills setting, the composition of (two
operator) Yang-Mills complexes for (anti-)self-dual Yang-Mills connections. Via a prolonged system and tractor connection
a diagram of differential operators is constructed which, when commutative, generates differential complexes of natural operators
from the Yang-Mills detour complex. In dimension 4 this construction is conformally invariant and is used to yield two new
sequences of conformal operators which are complexes if and only if the Bach tensor vanishes everywhere. In Riemannian signature
these complexes are elliptic. In one case the first operator is the twistor operator and in the other sequence it is the operator

This investigation uses the Gaussian 98 program, density functional theory (DFT) B3LYP/6‐31G(d,p), and ab initio MP2/6‐31G(d,p) and HF/6‐31G(d) methods to model energetic diguanidinium 5,5′‐azotetrazolate (GZT) ionic species in order to determine their decomposition mechanisms. GZT was initially cracked into two guanidinium cations (G+) and a 5,5′‐azotetrazolate anion (ZT2?). Three routes—the elimination of a hydronium ion (H+), the elimination of a hydrogen radical (H·), and the elimination of an amine radical (·NH2)—are suggested for the decomposition of the G+ cation, and three routes—single ring opening, double ring opening and N? N bond cleavage outside the ring—are proposed for the further decomposition of the ZT2? anion. Fourteen decomposition species were obtained on splitting both the cation and anion. This result reveals the reliability of the aforementioned decomposition mechanisms. The transition state species were also obtained using a two‐structure or three‐structure synchronous transit‐guided quasi‐Newton (STQN) between the Cartesian coordinates of related particles at specific decomposition stages in this research. The corresponding activation energies in all decomposition stages were considered to infer the most feasible pathways of GZT decomposition. © 2007 Wiley Periodicals, Inc.
