Overall water photo-splitting is a prospective ideal pathway to produce ultra-clean H_2 energy by semiconductors.However,the band structure of many semiconductors cannot satisfy the requirement of H_2 and O_2 production at the same time.Herein,we illustrate that carbon dots(CDs)/Bi_2 WO_6 photocatalyst with compensatory photo-electronic effect has enhanced activity for overall water photo-splitting without any sacrificial agent.In this complex photocatalytic system,the photo-potential provided by CDs makes the CDs/Bi_2 WO6(C-BWO) composite could satisfy the band structure conditions for overall water photo-splitting.The C-BWO composite(3 wt% CDs content) exhibits optimized hydrogen evolution(oxygen evolution) of 0.28 μmol/h(0.12 μmol/h) with an approximate 2:1(H_2:O_2) stoichiometry at normal pressure.We further employed the in-situ transient photovoltage(TPV) technique to study the photoelectron extraction and the interface charge transfer kinetics of this composite catalyst.  相似文献

作为一类典型软物质材料,近年来分子凝胶在生物医学、柔性电子设备、晶体控制生长、水体净化,以及3D打印材料、微纳米材料和高能量密度材料制备等领域表现出巨大的应用潜力,受到人们越来越多的关注。如何提高分子凝胶结构调控效率,拓展分子凝胶功能,促进分子凝胶实际应用已经成为新阶段分子凝胶研究的主要内容。本文结合本课题组的研究工作,从动态共价键调控分子凝胶力学性能、分子凝胶促进高品质有机晶体制备和高性能多孔高分子材料的分子凝胶(凝胶乳液)软膜板制备三个方面阐述分子凝胶的结构调控和功能化应用研究。在此基础上,简要展望分子凝胶研究的发展趋势。  相似文献

Poly[2‐(dimethylamino) ethyl methacrylate] (PDMAEMA) brushes on the surfaces of clay layers were prepared by in situ free‐radical polymerization. Poly (methyl methacrylate) (PMMA) colloid particles stabilized and initiated by clay layers with PDMAEMA polymer brushes were prepared by Pickering emulsion polymerization. Transmission electron microscopy was used to characterize the structure and morphology of the colloid particles. The X‐ray diffraction (XRD) results indicated that the intercalated structures of the clay layers were almost destroyed in Pickering emulsion polymerization, and clay layers with exfoliated structures were created. The surface of the colloid particles was analyzed by using X‐ray photoelectron spectroscopy (XPS). The XPS results provide direct evidence that the clay layers with PDMAEMA chains cover the PMMA colloid particles. © 2008 Wiley Periodicals, Inc. Herein we describe a new strategy for producing micelles with mixed coronal chains. This method involves attachment of an atom transfer radical polymerization (ATRP) initiator at the interface of a micelle and preparation of poly(2-(dimethylamino)ethyl methacrylate) (PDMAEMA) brushes at the interface by a "grafting from" method. Poly(ethylene glycol)- block-polystyrene (PEG- b-PS) diblock copolymer was achieved by ATRP. After the sulfonation reaction PS blocks were partly sulfonated. In aqueous solution at low pH the sulfonated block copolymer self-assembled into micelles with PS cores and PEG coronae and sodium 4-styrenesulfonate groups were distributed at the interfaces of the micelles. An ATRP initiator consisting of a quaternary ammonium salt moiety and a 2-bromo-2-methyl propionate moiety was ion exchanged onto the interface of the micelle. ATRP of DMAEMA was initiated at the interface, and micelles with PEG/PDMAEMA mixed coronal chains were prepared by ATRP. The structures of the micelles were characterized by dynamic light scattering (DLS), transmission electron microscopy (TEM), and zeta potential measurements. The size and morphology of the micelles were controlled by pH in aqueous solution. At high pH, PDMAEMA brushes collapse, forming nanodomains on the surface of the micelles. PDMAEMA brushes in the coronae of the micelles could be used as a template for preparation of gold nanoparticles.  相似文献

New dicholesteryl-based gelators: chirality and spacer length effect   总被引:1,自引:0,他引:1  
Eight new diacid amides of dicholesteryl L(D)-alaninates were designed and prepared. The compounds with spacers containing three, four, five, or six carbon atoms and L-alanine residues are denoted as 1a, 2a, 3a, and 4a, respectively, and those containing D-alanine residues are denoted as 1b, 2b, 3b, and 4b, respectively. A gelation test revealed that a subtle change in the length of the spacer and an inverse in the chirality of the amino acid residue can produce a dramatic change in the gelation behavior of the compounds and the microstructures of the gels, as revealed by SEM, XRD, and CD measurements. Importantly, for the compounds 1 and 2, those containing d-alanine residues (1b, 2b) are more efficient gelators than their analogues with opposite chirality (1a, 2a). For the compounds of longer spacers (3, 4), however, those containing l-alanine residues (3a, 4a) are superior to the corresponding ones with d-alanine residues (3b, 4b). Very interestingly, of the 139 gel systems studied, at least 11 of them gel spontaneously at room temperature. Studies of the rheological properties of the example systems of these gels demonstrated that change in the spacer lengths of the gelators has a great effect upon the mechanical properties of the corresponding gels, and the studies also revealed the thixotropic properties of the gels. Furthermore, it was observed that 4a forms water-in-oil gel emulsions with some organic solvents by simple agitating the systems at room temperature.  相似文献

Carbon monoxide can adsorb specifically on Pd(111) to induce the formation of unique Pd nanostructures. In the copresence of CO and H(2), single-crystalline Pd tetrapod nanocrystals have now been successfully prepared. The Pd tetrapods are enclosed by (111) surfaces and are yielded through hydride formation. Density functional theory calculations revealed that the formation of PdH(x) in the presence of H(2) reduces the binding energy of CO on Pd and thus helps to decrease the CO coverage during the synthesis, which is essential to the formation of the PdH(x) tetrapod nanocrystals. In addition to tetrapod nanocrystals, tetrahedral nanocrystals were also produced in the copresence of CO and H(2) when the reaction temperature was ramped to further lower the CO coverage. Upon aging in air, the as-prepared PdH(x) nanocrystals exhibited a shape-dependent hydrogen releasing behavior. The conversion rate of PdH(x) tetrapod nanocrystals into metallic Pd was faster than that of tetrahedral nanocrystals.  相似文献

通过自由基共聚制备了不同组成的甲基丙烯酸甲酯-甲基丙烯酸无规共聚物,用碱中和后作为大分子乳化剂用于乳液聚合.研究了无规共聚物的组成、用量及反应温度对乳液聚合的影响.结果表明,在相同的反应条件下,乳化剂中聚甲基丙烯酸含量越多,乳液聚合速率越快;同一乳化剂,随乳化剂浓度的增加,乳液聚合速率增加;在乳化剂组成、浓度不变的情况下,反应温度越高,乳液聚合速率越大.  相似文献
