Functionalization of the PNP pincer ligand backbone allows for a comparison of the dialkyl amido, vinyl alkyl amido, and divinyl amido ruthenium(II) pincer complex series [RuCl{N(CH2CH2PtBu2)2}], [RuCl{N(CHCHPtBu2)(CH2CH2PtBu2)}], and [RuCl{N(CHCHPtBu2)2}], in which the ruthenium(II) ions are in the extremely rare square‐planar coordination geometry. Whereas the dialkylamido complex adopts an electronic singlet (S=0) ground state and energetically low‐lying triplet (S=1) state, the vinyl alkyl amido and the divinyl amido complexes exhibit unusual triplet (S=1) ground states as confirmed by experimental and computational examination. However, essentially non‐magnetic ground states arise for the two intermediate‐spin complexes owing to unusually large zero‐field splitting (D>+200 cm?1). The change in ground state electronic configuration is attributed to tailored pincer ligand‐to‐metal π‐donation within the PNP ligand series.  相似文献

A dynamic mathematical model is developed for production of Cerenol polyether from 1,3‐propanediol in a batch reactor system. The model accounts for polycondensation reactions and side reactions in the liquid phase and for mass transfer of volatile species to the vapor. Parameters are estimated using measured liquid‐phase concentrations of monomer, oligomers, water, and end groups as well as the mass and composition of condensate collected from the overhead condenser system. The proposed model uses novel probability factors to keep the model equations relatively simple while accounting for the complex influence of superacid catalyst on reaction rates. The model is a significant advance over previous Cerenol models because it better accounts for mass‐transfer rates and for the dynamic behavior of the condenser. In addition, the proposed model accounts for the inhibitory influence of water on polycondensation kinetics due to hydration of hydroxyl ends. The model equations and parameter estimates provide a substantial improvement in fit to the data, especially for long reaction times and high catalyst levels, resulting in a 97% reduction in the value of the weighted least squared objective function compared to equations and parameters from a previous model.  相似文献

Necessary optimality conditions for efficient solutions of unconstrained and vector equilibrium problems with equality and inequality constraints are derived. Under assumptions on generalized convexity, necessary optimality conditions for efficient solutions become sufficient optimality conditions. Composition and stability of coordination compounds of nickel(II) and cobalt(II) ions with maleic acid anion in aqueous isopropanol solutions (H2O-IPA) of composition χIPA = 0–0.5 mole fraction was studied by potentiometric titration at ionic strength of 0.1 maintained with sodium perchlorate at 298.15 K. Monoligand complexes of Ni2+ and Co2+ ions with maleic acid anion become stronger when isopropanol content rises. In the solvent of the studied composition, Co2+ ions form less stable complexes than Ni2+ ions that corresponds to the Irving-Williams series established for aqueous solutions. Variations in complex stability are more expressed at small IPA content and differ within experimental error at χIPA = 0.5 mole fraction. Obtained results were compared with literature data for akin compounds.  相似文献

Metal–organic frameworks (MOFs) enable the design of host–guest systems with specific properties. In this work, we show how the confinement of anthracene in a well‐chosen MOF host leads to reversible yellow‐to‐purple photoswitching of the fluorescence emission. This behavior has not been observed before for anthracene, either in pure form or adsorbed in other porous hosts. The photoresponse of the host–guest system is caused by the photodimerization of anthracene, which is greatly facilitated by the pore geometry, connectivity, and volume as well as the structural flexibility of the MOF host. The photoswitching behavior was used to fabricate photopatternable and erasable surfaces that, in combination with data encryption and decryption, hold promise in product authentication and secure communication applications.  相似文献

In this paper, the stochastic SIR epidemic model with Beddington–DeAngelis incidence rate is investigated. We classify the model by introducing a threshold value \(\lambda \). To be more specific, we show that if \(\lambda <0\) then the disease-free is globally asymptotic stable i.e., the disease will eventually disappear while the epidemic is persistence provided that \(\lambda >0\). In this case, we derive that the model under consideration has a unique invariant probability measure. We also depict the support of invariant probability measure and prove the convergence in total variation norm of transition probabilities to the invariant measure. Some of numerical examples are given to illustrate our results.  相似文献
