<正>We presented a novel orthogonally linearly polarized Nd:YVO4 laser.Two pieces of a-cut grown-together composite YVO4/Nd:YVO4 crystals were placed in the resonant cavity with the c-axis of the two crystals orthogonally.The polarization and power performance of the orthogonally polarized laser were investigated.A 26.2-W orthogonally linearly polarized laser was obtained.The power ratio between the two orthogonally polarized lasers was varied with the pump power caused by the polarized mode coupling.The longitudinal modes competition and the corresponding variable optical beats were also observed from the orthogonally polarized laser.We also adjusted the crystals with their c-axis parallele to each other,and a 40.7-W linearly polarized TEMoo laser was obtained,and the beam quality factors were Mx2=1.37 and My2 =1.25.  相似文献

A diode-pumped Nd:YAG oscillator laser with an end-pumped zigzag slab architecture and weak pump absorption is developed. An output power of 253 W with a slope efficiency of 50.2% and an optical-optical conversion efficiency of 39.6% is achieved from the resonator, which emits the maximum power of 290 W with 840-W pump power. An optimum laser diode (LD) array coolant temperature is chosen in an attempt to realize the weak but uniform pump absorption. of zigzag slab resonator depends sensitively on the Furthermore, we have confirmed that the performance incident angle of the beam at the slab end face.  相似文献

A novel concept of collision avoidance single-photon light detection and ranging(LIDAR) for vehicles has been demonstrated, in which chaotic pulse position modulation is applied on the transmitted laser pulses for robust anti-crosstalk purposes. Besides, single-photon detectors(SPD) and time correlated single photon counting techniques are adapted, to sense the ultra-low power used for the consideration of compact structure and eye safety. Parameters including pulse rate, discrimination threshold, and number of accumulated pulses have been thoroughly analyzed based on the detection requirements, resulting in specified receiver operating characteristics curves. Both simulation and indoor experiments were performed to verify the excellent anti-crosstalk capability of the presented collision avoidance LIDAR despite ultra-low transmitting power.  相似文献

A frequency-degenerate cavity(FDC) is the resonator that the ratio of transverse and longitudinal mode frequency spacings is a simple rational number. When an optical resonator is close to the FDC, transverse-mode-locking(TML) takes place with drastic changes of laser mode. We report for the first time, to the best of our knowledge,the multi-frequency emission and spectral modulation effects coupled with TML in FDC. The Yb:CaGdAlO_4(Yb:CALGO) crystal with large gain bandwidth was used as a gain medium in an off-axis-pumped hemispherical FDC for realizing broadband emission. Interestingly, the spectrum can transform from a single smooth packet shape to a multi-peak structure; meanwhile, the transverse pattern accordingly transforms into some exotic wave-packet profiles through controlling off-axis displacement in a special degenerate state.  相似文献

The curvature type of the thermal lens generated in a zigzag slab laser is numerically analysed. It is found that the curvature type of the thermal lens varies alternatively between the convex and the concave lenses with the number of bounces of light within the slab, which can be well explained by the trace of the zigzag propagation. In addition, we conclude that the beamlet with a larger number of bounces experiences weaker thermal lensing but more serious wavefront deformation due to the large side lobe portion in the curve of optical path difference.  相似文献

A large-aperture Nd:YAG thin-disk laser directly cooled by liquid is end-pumped by two spatial selforganized laser diode arrays. The pump coupling efficiency reaches as high as 93%. Without any complex pump coupling components, the structure becomes simplified and compact. By optimizing the incident angle of the pump beam, a pump power density of 578 W/cm2 is achieved with a pump uniformity of 5.52%. Up to 1 346-W peak output power with a slope efficiency of 54.9% is obtained when pumping with a long pulse. The near-field pattern of the laser output is uniform.  相似文献

采用密度泛函理论(DFT)和含时密度泛函理论(TD-DFT)研究了气相水杨酸(SA)分子的激发态氢键动力学过程。通过对水杨酸分子基态和激发态结构的优化,以及对其稳态吸收和发射光谱特性、前线分子轨道、红外振动光谱和势能曲线的计算分析,阐明水杨酸分子内质子转移可在激发态下自发地发生,导致其激发态可存在烯醇式和酮式两种异构体结构,并揭示了这种质子转移源于分子内电荷转移的激发态氢键的加强机制。  相似文献

In this Letter, a 116-actuator deformable mirror(DM) was used to correct the wavefront distortion in a 10.7 J,10 Hz neodymium-doped yttrium aluminum garnet(Nd:YAG) slab amplifier. By applying a pump-light homogenizer to transform the 3 × 1 near-field beam array into an integrated beam, the beam quality was greatly improved from 5.54 times diffraction limit(TDL) to 1.57 TDL after being corrected by the DM. To the best of our knowledge, this is the first investigation on beam quality control of an arrayed near-field beam in high-energy diode-pumped solid-state lasers.  相似文献

Q-switched operation of an Nd:LuAG laser using gold nanorods(GNRs) as the saturable absorber(SA) is reported, which also produces the highest average power among the nanosecond Nd-doped Q-switched lasers by GNRs-based SA. The applied GNRs are prepared using a seed-mediated growth method and then dropped onto the quartz substrate to fabricate the SA. The average power of the Q-switched laser is 516 mW with the shortest pulse duration of 606.7 ns and the repetition rate of 265.1 kHz.  相似文献
