Laser ablation in liquids is growing in popularity for various applications including nanoparticle production, breakdown spectroscopy, and surface functionalization. When laser pulse ablates the solid target submerged in liquid, a cavitation bubble develops. In case of “finite” geometries of ablated solids, liquid dynamical phenomena can occur inside the bubble when the bubble overflows the surface edge. To observe this dynamics, we use diffuse illumination of a flashlamp in combination with a high-speed videography by exposure times down to 250 ns. The developed theoretical modelling and its comparison with the experimental observations clearly prove that this approach widens the observable area inside the bubble. We thereby use it to study the dynamics of laser-induced cavitation bubble during its expansion over a sharp-edge (“cliff-like” 90°) geometry submerged in water, ethanol, and polyethylene glycol 300. The samples are 17 mm wide stainless steel plates with thickness in the range of 0.025–2 mm. Bubbles are induced on the samples by 1064-nm laser pulses with pulse durations of 7–60 ns and pulse energies of 10–55 mJ. We observe formation of a fixed-type secondary cavity behind the edge where low-pressure area develops due to bubble-driven flow of the liquid. This occurs when the velocity of liquid overflow exceeds ~20 m s−1. A re-entrant liquid injection with up to ~40 m s−1 velocity may occur inside the bubble when the bubble overflows the edge of the sample. Formation and characteristics of the jet evidently depend on the relation between the breakdown-edge offset and the bubble energy, as well as the properties of the surrounding liquid. Higher viscosity of the liquid prevents the generation of the jet.  相似文献

为理解绕水翼云空化流动的发展机理和探究水翼吸力面开孔射流的影响,采用密度 修正的RNG $k$-$\varepsilon $湍流模型和Schnerr-Sauer空化模型对原始NACA66(mod) 水翼和采用射流后的 水翼的云空化非定常过程进行模拟和对比分析;采用在水翼吸力面近壁区设立监测线的方法对近壁区的流场进行监测,得到 近壁区汽相体积分数、回射流速度、压力及压力梯度的时空分布云图;开展了云空化流场特性的涡动力学分析,进而分析水 翼云空化的发生机理和射流抑制空化的抑制机理. 结果表明:游离型空泡在下游溃灭时产生强烈的局部高压,其向上游传播 导致前缘空穴的一次回缩,而空穴的二次回缩受回射流的影响. 回射流的发展区域受限于较高的压力梯度,高的压力梯度一 直存在,但回射流在一个周期内的首次出现需要时间的积累. 在水翼吸力面射流使得射流孔附近压力升高,弥补了由于空化 和绕流造成的压降,压力梯度增大,抗逆压能力增强,对回射流起到阻挡作用;另一方面,射流使得回射流区域面积和回射 流的强度也有所减小,从而对云空化的发展起到抑制的效果. $Q$准则的涡结构云图相比于汽相体积分数云图能显示复杂的 流动结构,前缘附着型空穴和尾缘游离型空穴内存在旋涡,回射流对空穴存在剪切作用造成空穴脱落. 而射流对空穴和回射 流的剪切和阻挡使云空化发展得到抑制.   相似文献

针对设计的喉径2mm、工作电流为100A的拉瓦尔喷嘴,在二维轴对称模型的基础上,对超音速等离子体炬中的流动及其外部射流进行了数值模拟。通过在阳极喷嘴内部采用基于磁矢量势的磁流体动力学模型,避免了对磁感应强度的复杂积分计算,得到了喷嘴内部多场耦合的结果及外部射流的流动状态,分析了喷嘴内部电磁场对等离子体的加速作用及射流发展过程。结果显示,等离子体经历了亚音速→跨音速→超音速的发展过程,最终获得2.3 Ma的超音速射流。研究结果为超音速等离子体炬的工业应用提供了理论基础。  相似文献

We derive a reduced-order model describing the inflation and deflation dynamics of a liquid-filled hyperelastic balloon, focusing on inviscid laminar flow and the extensional motion of the balloon. We initially study the flow and pressure fields for dictated motion of the solid, which throughout deflation are obtained by solving the potential problem. However, during inflation, flow separation creates a jet within the balloon, requiring a different approach. The analyses of both flow regimes lead to a simple piecewise model, describing the fluidic pressure during inflation and deflation, which is verified by finite element computations. We then use a variational approach to derive the equation describing the interaction between the extensional mode of the balloon and the entrapped fluid, yielding a nonlinear hybrid oscillator equation. Analytical and graphical investigations of the suggested model are presented, shedding light on its static and dynamic behaviour under different operating conditions. Our simplified model and its underlying assumptions are verified utilizing a fully coupled finite element scheme, showing excellent agreement.  相似文献

选择绕圆柱预混燃烧算例,验证CH4/空气三种简化动力学机理(16s41r、15s19r和53s325r).考虑均匀来流,忽略湍流和湍流与燃烧相互作用以及燃料扩散效应,假设层流有限反应速率,采用保自由流5阶WENO格式求解多组分Euler方程组,得到CH4/空气预混燃烧流场温度等值线、沿驻点线压力和温度及其CH4、CO和CO2质量百分数分布.结果表明:三种简化动力学机理给出的流场均出现弓形激波和火焰面,弓形激波和火焰驻点距离及其形状、诱导区宽度和简化动力学机理相关.当圆柱直径增大,弓形激波和火焰向圆柱上游移动,对应的驻点距离均增大,诱导区宽度变短,点火延时变小,但火焰和弓形激波位置次序未变化.53s325r模型要比16s41r模型和15s19r模型精度要高,点火延时覆盖的压力和温度范围也较宽,所有简化机理均未完全反应,在较大圆柱直径下游达到化学平衡.  相似文献

设计了超声速钻地结构弹,采用203 mm口径的火炮,开展了25 kg量级弹体在1100~1300 m/s速度范围内侵彻钢筋混凝土靶的实验研究,应用数值仿真对弹体侵彻钢筋混凝土靶的过程进行了模拟计算。基于实验和仿真结果,对超声速侵彻条件下两种金属材料弹体的结构响应、质量损失等问题进行了分析。结果表明:在超声速侵彻钢筋混凝土靶的过程中,两种金属材料的弹体结构变形破坏形式主要为头部侵蚀和侧壁磨蚀,头部侵蚀量的大小与弹体壳体材料有关,高强度G50钢材料更适合用于1200 m/s速度量级的超声速侵彻环境。对出现的“径缩”现象作了初步分析,并对今后工程应用的结构弹体设计提出了指导意见。  相似文献

The present study compares the operation of two cold atmospheric plasma jet (CAPJ) configurations: needle-to-cylinder electrode configuration (CAPJ I) and single high-voltage cylinder electrode around the quartz tube (CAPJ II). The CAPJs were operated in argon flowing through a quartz capillary with 0.5-mm inner diameter into the ambient air, and the plasma was generated by sinusoidal kHz frequency AC power supplies. The main emphasis of the study was on the mechanism of the initiation of ionization waves for these two configurations. For both CAPJs, there appeared several ionization waves during one half-period of the applied voltage waveform, and the number of ionization waves increased at higher voltage amplitudes. However, we discovered marked differences in the initiation of the ionization waves for two different CAPJ configuration. The applied voltage controlled the initiation of consecutive ionization waves, which propagated from the grounded electrode towards the tube orifice in CAPJ I. In the case of CAPJ II, certain time had to pass for the initiation of a new ionization wave, and subsequent ionization waves within the same half-period started at the tube orifice. In addition to the differences in the initiation of the ionization waves, we observed that the CAPJ I was ignited and sustained at lower voltages, while CAPJ II produced a longer plasma jet. The observed advantages and deficiencies of investigated CAPJ configurations point out their potential in different applications.  相似文献

大气压空气电火花激波等离子体射流的电子密度在亚微秒时间尺度上瞬变,其电子密度的测定很难.基于微波瑞利散射原理,本文测量了空气电火花冲击波流注放电等离子体射流的时变电子密度.实验结果表明:测量系统的标定参数A为1.04 × 105 V·Ω·m–2;空气流注放电等离子体射流的电子密度与等离子体射流的半径和长度有关,结合高速放电影像展示的等离子体射流的等效半径和等效长度,测定的电子密度在1020 m–3的量级,且随时间先快速增长至峰值再成指数衰减.此外,本文还探讨了等离子体射流的不同等效尺度对测定结果的影响;分析结果表明,采用时变等效半径和时变等效长度的计算结果最有效,且第1个快速波峰是由光电离的电离波导致的.  相似文献

We report herein an efficient, fast, and simple synthesis of an imine‐based covalent organic framework (COF) at room temperature (hereafter, RT‐COF‐1 ). RT‐COF‐1 shows a layered hexagonal structure exhibiting channels, is robust, and is porous to N2 and CO2. The room‐temperature synthesis has enabled us to fabricate and position low‐cost micro‐ and submicropatterns of RT‐COF‐1 on several surfaces, including solid SiO2 substrates and flexible acetate paper, by using lithographically controlled wetting and conventional ink‐jet printing.  相似文献

Jet quenching has successfully served as a hard probe to study the properties of Quark-Gluon Plasma (QGP). As a multi-particle system, jets require time to develop from a highly virtual parton to a group of partons close to mass shells. In this study, we present a systematical analysis on the effects of this formation time on jet quenching in relativistic nuclear collisions. Jets from initial hard scatterings were simulated with Pythia, and their interactions with QGP were described using a Linear Boltzmann Transport (LBT) model that incorporates both elastic and inelastic scatterings between jet partons and the thermal medium. Three different estimations of the jet formation time were implemented and compared, including instantaneous formation, formation from single splitting, and formation from sequential splittings, before which no jet-medium interaction was assumed. We found that deferring the jet-medium interaction with a longer formation time not only affects the overall magnitude of the nuclear modification factor of jets but also its dependence on the jet transverse momentum.  相似文献
