SMALL-STENCIL PADE SCHEMES TO SOLVE NONLINEAR EVOLUTION EQUATIONS

A set of small-stencil new Pade schemes with the same denominator are presented to solve high-order nonlinear evolution equations. Using this scheme, the fourth-order precision can not only be kept, but also the final three-diagonal discrete systems are solved by simple Doolittle methods, or ODE systems by Runge-Kutta technique. Numerical samples show that the schemes are very satisfactory. And the advantage of the schemes is very clear compared to other finite difference schemes.     

半线性波动方程的自相似解

研究了具有非线性项|u|~αu的半线性波动方程的Cauclly问题,利用仿积分解及交换子估计等技术,证明了当α为一般的实数且满足一定的限制时,Cauchy问题自相似解的存在性。本文的结果回答了Planchon在其工作中所遗留的问题。

POSITIVE SOLUTIONS OF BOUNDARY VALUE PROBLEM FOR A SYSTEM OF NONLINEAR ORDINARY DIFFERENTIAL EQUATIONS

By using topological method, we study a class of boundary value problem for a system of nonlinear ordinary differential equations. Under suitable conditions, we prove the existence of positive solution of the problem.     

New localized excitations in a (2+1)-dimensional Broer—Kaup system

Starting with the extended homogeneous balance method and a variable separation approach, a general variable separation solution of the Broer—Kaup system is derived. In addition to the usual localized coherent soliton excitations like dromions, lumps, rings, breathers, instantons, oscillating soliton excitations, peakon and fractal localized solutions, some new types of localized excitations, such as compacton and folded excitations, are obtained by introducing appropriate lower-dimensional piecewise smooth functions and multiple-valued functions, and some interesting novel features of these structures are revealed.

A CLASS OF RANDOM NUMBER GENERATORS BASED ON WEYL SEQUENCE

The generation of good pseudo-random numbers is the base of many important fields in scientific computing, such as randomized algorithms and numerical solution of stochastic differential equations. In this paper, a class of random number generators （RNGs） based on Weyl sequence is proposed. The uniformity of those RNGs is proved theoretically. Statistical and numerical computations show the efficiency of the methods.     

具有时滞的半比率依赖型捕食者-食饵系统的周期性

A delayed semi-ratio-dependent predator-prey system in a periodic environment is investigated in this paper. By using a continuation theorem based on Gaines and Mawhin‘s coincidence degree,the global existence of positive periodic solution is studied. A set of easily verifiable sufficient conditions are obtained.
