用^60Co放射源检测油垢厚度的初步实验研究

本文用石蜡模拟油垢，用^60Co放射源的1．25MeV平均能量的γ射线垂直入射，以一定的散射角和不同的探测立体角接收散射γ光子敫．发现散射γ计数与被测石蜡厚度之间存在不同的线性关系．结果发现，放射源与探测器之间屏蔽的好坏和合理的探测距离对提高线性度有很大关系．本实验测得最佳线性相关系数平方值为0．9981，平均测量精度为1．26mm．这对研究散射法检测油垢厚度和选择合适的探测距离提供了实验基础．     

Corrections of proofs for Hansen and Mélot's two theorems

The Randi? index R(G) of a (chemical) graph G is also called connectivity index. Hansen and Mélot [Variable neighborhood search for extremal graphs 6: analyzing bounds for the connectivity index, J. Chem. Inf. Comput. Sci. 43 (2003) 1-14] in their paper, characterized the chemical trees of given order and number of pendent vertices which have the minimum and maximum Randi? index, respectively. In this note, we point out the mistakes in the proofs of their results Theorems 8 and 10, while we still believe that the two theorems are true, and then we give their corrected proofs.     

A constructive characterization of the split closure of a mixed integer linear program

Two independent proofs of the polyhedrality of the split closure of mixed integer linear program have been previously presented. Unfortunately neither of these proofs is constructive. In this paper, we present a constructive version of this proof. We also show that split cuts dominate a family of inequalities introduced by Köppe and Weismantel.     

Numerical analysis of a model of cure process for composites

We consider a composite material composed of fibres included in a resin which becomes solid when it is heated up (reaction of reticulation). The mathematical modelling of the cure process is given by a kinetic equation describing the evolution of the reaction of reticulation coupled with the heat equation. In this paper, we are interested in the computation of approximate solutions. We propose a family of discretized problems depending on two parameters (β₁, β₂) ε [0, 1]² which split the linear and non‐ linear terms in implicit and explicit parts. We prove the stability and convergence of the discretization for any (β₁, β₂) ε [½, 1 ] × [0, 1]. We present also some numerical results. Copyright © 2006 John Wiley & Sons, Ltd.

本文研究了一般Gauss-Markov模型中线性可预测变量的线性预测的可容许性.在给出线性预测可容许性定义的基础上,通过构造一个特殊的常量矩阵D0,分别得到了齐次和非齐次线性预测类中可容许的充要条件.     

随机截断下NA样本半参数回归模型中的相合估计

本文研究固定设计下的半参数回归模型在相应变量Yi因受到某种随机干扰而被右截断且截断分布已知时,利用所获的截断观察定义了参数β和回归函数g(·)的估计,并证明了它们均具有强相合性.

A 57Fe Mössbauer characterization of Fe-biopolymer complexes and their relevance to biological molecules

⁵⁷Fe Mössbauer spectroscopy is used to study the interactions, geometry, and the coordination characteristics of the Fe-complexes of biopolymers such as chitosan, glucosamine, and chondritin sulfate. In addition, a computational effort is undertaken for predicting the geometries and energies of the metal complexes by the Density Functional Theory (DFT) methods as implemented in the Gaussian 2003 quantum mechanical program. Both experimental and computational results suggest that the structure of the metal complexes resemble closely the structure of the active sites of metalloenzymes in 2+ or 3+ oxidation states and is at least tetracoordinated and can possibly have six ligands.
