INFLUENCES OF ANISOTROPY ON BAND GAPS OF 2D PHONONIC CRYSTAL

Band gaps of 2D phononic crystal with orthotropic cylindrical fillers embedded in the isotropic host are studied in this paper. Two kinds of periodic structures, namely, the square lattice and the triangle lattice, are considered. For anisotropic phononic crystal, band gaps not only depend on the periodic lattice but also the angle between the symmetry axis of orthotropic material and that of the periodic structure. Rotating these cylindrical fillers makes the angle changing continuously; as a result, pass bands and forbidden bands of the phononic crystal are changed. The plane wave expansion method is used to reduce the band gap problem to an eigenvalue problem. The numerical example is given for YBCO/Epoxy composites. The location and the width of band gaps are estimated for different rotating angles. The influence of anisotropy on band gaps is discussed based on numerical results.     

A lattice Boltzmann model with an amending function forsimulating nonlinear partial differential equations

This paper proposes a lattice Boltzmann model with an amending function for one-dimensional nonlinear partial differential equations (NPDEs) in the form $u_t+\alpha uu_{xx}+\beta u^n u_x+\gamma u_{xxx}+\xi u_{xxxx}=0$. This model is different from existing models because it lets the time step be equivalent to the square of the space step and derives higher accuracy and nonlinear terms in NPDEs. With the Chapman--Enskog expansion, the governing evolution equation is recovered correctly from the continuous Boltzmann equation. The numerical results agree well with the analytical solutions.     

基于应力形式的二维弹性问题的本征展开法

给出求解基于应力形式的二维弹性问题的本征函数展开方法．通过引入适当的状态函数,将该问题的基本偏微分方程等价地转化为上三角微分系统,导出相应的上三角算子矩阵．证明了该矩阵的两个对角块算子均具有规范的正交本征函数系,并得到它们在相应空间中的完备性．此外,基于本征函数系的完备性,应用本征函数展开法给出了二维弹性问题的一般解．     

Ⅰ阶梯度损伤理论

从热力学基本定律出发,将应变张量、标量损伤变量、损伤梯度作为Helmholtz自由能函数的状态变量,利用本构泛函展开法在自然状态附近作自由能函数的Taylor展开,未引入附加假设,推导出Ⅰ阶梯度损伤本构方程的一般形式．该形式在损伤为0时可退化为线弹性应力-应变本构方程,在损伤梯度为0时可退化为基于应变等效假设给出的线弹性局部损伤本构方程．一维解析解表明,随着应力增大,损伤场逐步由空间非周期解变为关于空间的类周期解,类周期解的峰值区域形成局部化带．局部化带内的损伤变量将不同于局部化带外的损伤变量,由此可以反映出介质的局部化特征．损伤局部化并不是与损伤同时发生,而是在损伤发生后逐渐显现出来,模型的局部化机制开始启动;损伤局部化的宽度同内部特征长度成正比．     

Symplectic eigenvector expansion theorem of a class of operator matrices arising from elasticity theory

This paper deals with the completeness of the eigenvector system of a class of operator matrices arising from elasticity theory, i.e., symplectic eigenvector expansion theorem. Under certain conditions, the symplectic orthogonality of eigenvectors of the operator matrix is demonstrated. Based on this, a necessary and sufficient condition for the completeness of the eigenvector system of the operator matrix is given. Furthermore, the obtained results are tested for the free vibration of rectangular thin plates.
