在中国工业与应用数学学会会员代表大会开幕式上的讲话

各位领导，各位代表，各位同志，大家好!中国工业与应用数学学会自1990年10月成立以来，认真贯彻学会的宗旨，在各级领导的大力支持和帮助下，通过全体会员和广大理事的不懈努力，各项工作都取得了较大的进展．今天，我们来自全国各地的会员代表欢聚一起，目的是认真总结学会第三届理事会的工作，并在此基础上讨论学会今后的发展前景和奋斗目标，提出进一步对学会工作进行改革的建议，     

拟线性双曲型方程(组)的精确能控性

GLOBAL SMOOTH SOLUTIONS FOR INHOMOGENEOUS QUASILINEAR HYPERBOLIC SYSTEMS

It is wellknown that, for the Cauchy problem of quasilinear hyperbolic systems, in general, discontinuities may occur in solutions as the time variable increses, even if the initial data are sufficiently smooth. On the other hand, there exist some examples in which the solution of the corresponding Cauchy problem for quasilinear hyperbolic systems are globally smooth. Therefore, it is of great interest to determine the conditions under which solutions are globally smooth and the conditions under which singularities of the solution     

Global Exisienoe of Classical Solutions to the Typical Free Boundary Problem for General Quasilinear Hyperbolic Systems and Its Applications

In this paper the authors prove the existence and uniqueness of global classical solutions to the typical free boundary problem for general quasilinear hyperbolic systems. As an application, a unique global discontinuous solution only containing n shocks on t \leq 0 is obtained for a class of generalized Riemann problem for the quasilinear hyperbolic system of n conservation laws.

局部对偶的黎曼空间和引力瞬子解

四维正定黎曼空间R₄能局部地生成两个SU₂规范场和,如果,至少有一个具有自对偶性或反自对偶性,那末空间称为具局部对偶性的.我们证明它们是Einstein空间、数量曲率为0的共形平坦空间以及只R⁺⁺=0(或R^--=0)的空间.文中得出了R⁺⁺=0(R^--≠0)的一类黎曼线素.对曲率张量平方可积的情形,作出了规范场作用量,Euler示性数,Pontrjagin示性数之间的一个不等式,证明它的等号在而且只在R₄具局部对偶性时达到,这结果改进了文献[7]中关于引力瞬子解的研究.并以Hitchin关于4维紧致Einstein形流的一个不等式作为特殊情况.
