Abstract

Oxidation of 3-acetyl-1-alkyl-4-hydroxyquinolin-2(1H)-ones using selenium dioxide under Riley conditions was described. The oxidation reaction produced a mixture of 2 unexpected α-keto acid and its dehydrated dimer derivatives. The oxidation reaction was studied under different reaction conditions in order to maximize the yields and optimize reaction conditions. Also, 1-alkyl-4-hydroxy-3-(2-nitroacetyl)quinolin-2(1H)-one and/or 3-acetyl-1-alkyl-4-diflouro-boryloxyquinolin-2(1H)-one derivatives were subjected to the same oxidation reaction giving rise improved reaction yields and selectivity in case of the boron-complex. Alkaline degradation of the dehydrated dimers led to formation of the 4-hydroxy-2-oxoquinoline-3-carboxylic acids while under the same conditions the α-keto acids underwent deoxalylation.

An overview highlighting the anti‐cancer potential of (bio‐essential) selenium‐ and tellurium‐containing species, with an emphasis on biological targets and mechanisms of action, is presented. Studies thus far have focused on selenium(II) compounds (along with – to a lesser extent – inorganic selenium and selenium nanoparticles) which often successfully exploit the inherent anti‐oxidizing ability of selenium. Significantly less work has been conducted in developing anti‐cancer tellurium compounds, yet two tellurium(IV) species are proven, clinically, as anti‐cancer agents. Given the prevalence of the disease and the accumulated insights into mechanisms of action, the continued development of selenium‐ and tellurium‐containing molecules is an area deserving greater attention. Cyclobutane‐1,2,3,4‐tetraone, (CO)4, was computationally predicted and, subsequently, experimentally confirmed to have a triplet ground state, in which a b2g σ MO and an a2u π MO were each singly occupied. In contrast, the (U)CCSD(T) calculations reported herein found that cyclobutane‐1,2,3,4‐tetrathione, (CS)4, and cyclobutane‐1,2,3,4‐tetraselenone, (CSe)4, both had singlet ground states, in which the b2g σ MO was doubly occupied and the a2u π MO was empty. Our calculations showed that both the longer C?X distances and smaller coefficients on the carbon atoms in the b2g and a2u MOs of (CS)4 and (CSe)4 contributed to the difference between the ground states of these two molecules and the ground state of (CO)4. An experimental test of the prediction of a singlet ground state for (CS)4 is proposed.  相似文献

考察了通过自主研发的高温热裂解辅助硒化装置所产生的高活性硒对CIGS薄膜结构和器件性能的影响.通过调节高温裂解系统的温度可以有效调节不同的硒活性.研究发现, 第一台阶HC-Se气氛可以提高CIGS薄膜表面的Ga含量, 使得CIGS薄膜内的Ga分布更加平缓, 进而提高CIGS薄膜表面禁带宽度.而且HC-Se气氛可以消除CIGS"两相分离"现象.两种因素的共同作用使得CIGS薄膜太阳电池的开路电压提高了34.6%.电池转换效率从6.02%提升至8.76%, 增长了45.5%.  相似文献

采用高效液相色谱-电感耦合等离子体质谱法(HPLC-ICP/MS)测定人尿中硒代胱氨酸(SeCys_2)、甲基硒代半胱氨酸(MeSeCys)、亚硒酸盐[Se(Ⅳ)]、硒代蛋氨酸(SeMet)、硒酸盐[Se(Ⅵ)]5种硒形态。样品经超纯水稀释后,采用Hamilton PRP-X100色谱柱(250 mm×4 mm,10μm)分离,以40 mmol/L磷酸氢二铵(含1%甲醇,pH 5)为流动相进行等度洗脱,13 min内可将5种硒形态分离。5种硒形态的线性范围为0~300.0μg/L,相关系数(r)均大于0.999,检出限为0.2~0.5μg/L。除SeCys_2的加标回收率为37.7%~70.4%外,MeSeCys、Se(Ⅳ)、SeMet、Se(Ⅵ)的加标回收率为80.0%~123%;5种硒形态的相对标准偏差(RSD)均不大于7.8%。应用该方法测定实际样品,结果显示人尿中硒形态主要以SeCys_2为主,同时含有少量MeSeCys、SeMet、无机硒及未知含硒化合物。  相似文献

Electrolyte modulation simultaneously suppresses polysulfide the shuttle effect and lithium dendrite formation of lithium–sulfur (Li-S) batteries. However, the sluggish S redox kinetics, especially under high S loading and lean electrolyte operation, has been ignored, which dramatically limits the cycle life and energy density of practical Li-S pouch cells. Herein, we demonstrate that a rational combination of selenium doping, core–shell hollow host structure, and fluorinated ether electrolytes enables ultrastable Li stripping/plating and essentially no polysulfide shuttle as well as fast redox kinetics. Thus, high areal capacity (>4 mAh cm−2) with excellent cycle stability and Coulombic efficiency were both demonstrated in Li metal anode and thick S cathode (4.5 mg cm−2) with a low electrolyte/sulfur ratio (10 μL mg−1). This research further demonstrates a durable Li-Se/S pouch cell with high specific capacity, validating the potential practical applications.  相似文献
