In this work we present experimental results about the formation, properties and structure of sol — gel silica based biocomposite
containing Calcium alginate as an organic compound. Two different types of silicon precursors have been used in the synthesis:
tetramethylortosilicate (TMOS) and ethyltrimethoxysilane (ETMS). The samples have been prepared at room temperature. The hybrids
have been synthesized by replacing different quantitis of the inorganic precursor with alginate. The structure of the obtained
hybrid materials has been studied by XRD, IR Spectroscopy, EDS, BET and AFM. The results proved that all samples are amorphous
possessing a surface area from 70 to 290 m2/g. It has also been established by FT IR spectra that the hybrids containing TMOS display Van der Walls and Hydrogen bonding
or electrostatic interactions between the organic and inorganic components. Strong chemical bonds between the inorganic and
organic components in the samples with ETMS are present. A self-organized nanostructure has been observed by AFM. In the obtained

The acid-hydrolysis of an organo-bridged bisdiethoxysilylated molecular precursor bearing urea groups, (EtO)2MeSi(CH2)3NHCONH(CH2)12NHCONH(CH2)3SiMe(OEt)2, has been performed in pure aqueous medium. Scanning electron microscopy (SEM) analysis of the resulting insoluble solid revealed plate-like forms with a lamellar structure as determined by powder X-ray diffraction (PXRD) studies with a sharp peak at 28.5 Å. The solid state 29Si MAS-NMR spectrum of this bridged siloxane hybrid is consistent with a moderately condensed material with complete preservation of the Si–C bonds throughout the hybrid network. In comparison, the classical sol–gel hydrolysis-condensation of the molecular precursor in ethanol with stoichiometric amount of water and fluoride anion as catalyst produced an amorphous featureless solid. 相似文献

High-resolution two-dimensional gel electrophoresis (2-DE), followed by computer-assisted image analysis was used to screen
protein patterns of normal and infarcted myocardial tissues for quantitative and qualitative differences in protein expression.
In the gels of pH 5–8 immobilized pH gradient (IPG) strips, 851 protein spots were detected in normal myocardial tissue and
1 032 protein spots were resolved in infarcted myocardial tissue. Thirteen protein spots only expressed in normal myocardial
tissue, and 14 protein spots only expressed in infarcted myocardial tissue. Results also showed that 49 protein spots displayed
quantitative changes in expression between normal and infarcted myocardial tissue. Eleven protein spots were subjected to
mass spectrometry (MS) analysis and seven proteins were identified by peptide mass fingerprinting (PMF). These proteins may
be involved in cardiovascular injury, and could play an important role in the treatment of coronary heart disease.
