The dual-channel nearly perfect absorption is realized by the coupled modes of topological interface states (TIS) in the near-infrared range. An all-dielectric layered heterostructure composed of photonic crystals (PhC)/graphene/PhC/graphene/PhC on GaAs substrate is proposed to excite the TIS at the interface of adjacent PhC with opposite topological properties. Based on finite element method (FEM) and transfer matrix method (TMM), the dual-channel absorption can be modulated by the periodic number of middle PhC, Fermi level of graphene, and angle of incident light (TE and TM polarizations). Especially, by fine-tuning the Fermi level of graphene around 0.4 eV, the absorption of both channels can be switched rapidly and synchronously. This paper addresses the segmentation problem in noisy image based on nonlinear diffusion equation model and proposes a new adaptive segmentation model based on gray-level image segmentation model. This model also can be extended to the vector value image segmentation. By virtue of the prior information of regions and boundary of image, a framework is established to construct different segmentation models using different probability density functions. A segmentation model exploiting Gauss probability density function is given in this paper. An efficient and unconditional stable algorithm based on locally one-dimensional (LOD) scheme is developed and it is used to segment the gray image and the vector values image. We study the scattering process of photons confined in a one-dimensional optical waveguide by a laser controlled atomic ensemble. The investigation leads to an alternative setup of quantum node controlling the coherent transfer of single photon in such one dimensional continuum. To exactly solve the effective scattering equations by using the discrete coordinate approach, we simulate the linear waveguide as a coupled resonator array at the high energy limit. We generally calculate the transmission coefficients and itsvanishing at resonace reflects the good controllability of our scheme. The solution of elasticity problems involving the interaction between dislocations and cracks plays a fundamental role in many practical and theoretical applications. Although elasticity problems involving dislocation or cracks in quasi-crystals have been investigated in many papers, the analysis is limited to a single defect. This paper investigates the interaction of defects in one-dimensional hexagonal quasi-crystals using the complex variable function method. The interaction force between two parallel dislocations is presented and the analytic solutions of elastic fields of interaction between a dislocation and a crack are obtained.
