利用预乳化乳液法制备了不同单体配比的聚(甲基丙烯酸甲酯-co-甲基丙烯酸-co-甲基丙烯酸羟乙酯)(P(MMA-co-MAA-co-HEMA))微凝胶分散液;采用透射电子显微镜、动态光散射仪研究了微凝胶的微观形态、粒径大小及其溶胀率;利用试管倒转法对微凝胶分散液的凝胶化相转变行为进行了研究,借助椎板流变仪考察了所形成胶态凝胶的储能模量与单体配比、微凝胶分散液浓度和温度的关系.结果表明,所制备的微凝胶的数均粒径为90 nm左右,当MMA与MAA的投料质量不变时,随着HEMA含量的增加,分散液凝胶化所需的临界最小浓度增大,临界最大pH值减小,胶态凝胶的储能模量增加.当保持单体MMA与HEMA的投料质量不变时,随着单体MAA投料质量的增多,微凝胶的数均粒径和溶胀率增大,胶态凝胶的储能模量先升高后降低;当MAA占单体总摩尔数的25%时,浓度为15 wt%的微凝胶分散液在扫描频率为100 rad/s时,胶态凝胶的储能模量最高可达2×104Pa.这类微凝胶分散液在组织工程支架材料方面有潜在的应用价值. 相似文献

The effect of octadecanol on dilational properties of 4,5-diheptyl-2-propylbenzene sulfonate and partly hydrolyzed polyacrylamide at the decane-water interface has been examined by means of longitudinal method. The octadecanol plays different roles in influencing the structure of adsorbed layers at different bulk concentration. A small quantity of octadecanol may enhance the dilational modulus by forming densely packed mixed-adsorption layer with surfactant molecules through hydrophobic interaction, which leads to the increase of dilational modulus. However, due to the weakening of the “entanglement” among long alkyl chains in surfactant molecules by the intercalation of octadecanol, the superfluous addition of octadecanol could decrease the dilational modulus. In the case of polymer/octadecanol system, the addition of the polymer may enhance the dilational modulus due to the slow diffusion-exchange process of the polymer. 相似文献

Abstract New procedures involving depth‐sensing indentation are used to measure the submicron scale elastic modulus, hardness, viscosity, and activation energy and volume for creep of amorphous selenium below glass transition. The accurate measurement of Young's modulus in a highly viscoelastic situation using depth‐sensing indentation remains a challenge, and a creep correction procedure is employed here to measure the modulus. The measured Young's modulus exhibits a strong decreasing trend from ~10 GPa to 4.4 GPa as temperature increases from ~302 K to 309 K, in reasonably good agreement with bulk behavior. Two new procedures are also proposed here to measure the viscosity. The measured shear viscosity decreases from ~1×1012 Pa‐s to ~2×1010 Pa‐s when the temperature increases over the same range, and the variation with temperature is found to obey an Arrehnius rate equation. The activation energy for the viscous creep process is found to be ~463 kJ/mol. Both the viscosity and the activation energy are lower than the bulk values, and this is thought to be due to the much higher stress levels of over 200 MPa involved in the nanoindentation experiments here. The apparent activation volume exhibits a rising trend from 1.04×10?31 to 2.35×10?30 m3 over the same temperature range. 相似文献

The loss modulus E″ in elastomer strips stretched by a factor of λ is studied theoretically. A small oscillating deformation is applied to these strips in the transition frequency zone between the glassy and rubbery states. The range of λ under study ranges up to ultimate extensions close to fracture. A model of E″/λ dependence in the transition frequency zone is suggested that considers the possible distortion in the local chain structure in the ultimate extension range. It is found that E″ in the range of moderate and high λ increases owing to the finite extensibility of the chains. However, upon further extension up to ultimate values, E″ decreases and a maximum appears on the E″/λ curves. These features are also confirmed experimentally.

The interaction and coupling between the electrical, mechanical properties and formation energy for SW defective (10,0) carbon nanotube is studied in density functional theory. The investigated configurations include the axial and circumferential orientations for single defect as well as four distribution types for double ones. The more stable defective configurations, namely, SW-I configurations for single SW defective carbon nanotube and II–II-(2) and I–I ones for double SW defective tubes are related to high symmetry distribution of the defects. Moreover, we found that the σ?–π* hybridization induced by curvature effect causes the semiconductor to metal transition for double axial SW defects case. Young's modulus reduction of SW defective carbon nanotube with respect to defect-free one is less than 8%. The energy bands and Young's moduli of double SW defective tubes are mostly affected by the defect distribution and concentration but insensitive to the circumferential distance between the double defects. 相似文献

The elastic moduli of the dense polycrystalline oxygen‐bearing η‐Ta2N3, a novel hard and tough high‐pressure (HP) material, were measured using the laser ultrasonic technique. The bulk modulus was determined to be B0 = 281(15) GPa which is only ~11% below that from HP compression measurements. Our value of the shear modulus G0 = 123(2) GPa is below those ones predicted theoretically for model structures. The discrepancies in G0 could be due to a substitution of an‐ ions and the formation of cation vacancies in η‐Ta2N3.
