PERMANENCE AND GLOBAL STABILITY TO A NONAUTONOMOUS NONLINEAR DISCRETE SINGLE SPECIES SYSTEM

In this paper,we study some permanence and global stability to a nonau- tonomous nonlinear discrete single species system,and obtain some sufficient condition of global stability to the system.     

Characterization of planar photonic crystals using surface coupling techniques at large wavelengths

We report a non-destructive characterization of planar two-dimensional(2D)photonic crystals(PhCs) made in silicon on insulator(SOI)wafers using ellipsometric or Fourier transformed infrared(FTIR) spectroscope.At large wavelengths,devices behave as homogeneous isotropic materials defined by an effective filling factor.The experimental results related to the PhC limited dimensions confirm this characterization.     

OSCILLATION FOR NONAUTONOMOUS NEUTRAL DYNAMIC DELAY EQUATIONS ON TIME SCALES

The article is concerned with oscillation of nonautonomous neutral dynamic delay equations on time scales. Sufficient conditions are established for the existence of bounded positive solutions and for oscillation of all solutions of this equation. Some results extend known results for difference equations when the time scale is the set Z of positive integers and for differential equations when the time scale is the set R of real numbers.     

STABLE SOLUTION OF TIME DOMAIN INTEGRAL EQUATION METHODS USING QUADRATIC B-SPLINE TEMPORAL BASIS FUNCTIONS

This paper is concerned with stable solutions of time domain integral equation （TDIE） methods for transient scattering problems with 3D conducting objects. We use the quadratic B-spline function as temporal basis functions, which permits both the induced currents and induced charges to be properly approximated in terms of completeness. Because the B-spline function has the least support width among all polynomial basis functions of the same order, the resulting system matrices seem to be the sparsest. The TDIE formula-tions using induced electric polarizations as unknown function are adopted and justified. Numerical results demonstrate that the proposed approach is accurate and efficient, and no late-time instability is observed.     

THE PROBLEM OF LIMIT CYCLES FOR A LIENARD TYPE CUBIC SYSTEM

The purpose of this paper is to study a general Lienard type cubic system with one antisaddle and two saddles. We give some results of the existence and uniqueness of limit cycles as well as the evolution of limit cycles around the antisaddle for system (2) in the following when parameter a1 changes.

Frozen Landweber Iteration for Nonlinear Ill-Posed Problems

In this paper we propose a modification of the Landweber iteration termed frozen Landweberiteration for nonlinear ill-posed problems.A convergence analysis for this iteration is presented.The numericalperformance of this frozen Landweber iteration for a nonlinear Hammerstein integral equation is compared withthat of the Landweber iteration.We obtain a shorter running time of the frozen Landweber iteration based onthe same convergence accuracy.

使用美国甚大天线阵(VLA).对Markarian 8星系进行了多频观测.多频VLA观测表明,Markarian 8星系有三个主要的射电子成份,它们浸在一个弥漫的星系包层中.包层的射电谱是陡的非热谱.本文根据VLA观测确定了包层的物理参量,并讨论了包层中相对论性电子的可能起因.本文估计了包层非热辐射所要求的超新星爆发率.     

A NOVEL METHOD FOR FABRICATING COMPOSITE MOSAIC MEMBRANE WITH UNIQUE NF SELECTIVITY

A novel method of fabricating composite mosaic membranes was studied on the basis of interracial polymerization （IP） by coating a thin selective layer onto the surface of a micro-porous hollow-fiber membrane, in which, 2,5-diaminobenzene sulfonic acid was used as one monomer of the IP reaction, and a mixture of trimesoyl chloride （TMCI） and 4-（chloromethyl） benzoyl chloride as the other monomer. Through the IP reaction a thin selective layer with negatively charged groups could be first formed on the polyethersulfone （PES） support membrane. Then trimethylamine solution was introduced to modify the IP layer through a quaternization reaction. Thus the selective layer of this composite membrane contained both negatively charged and positively charged groups to perform the mosaic functionality. Characterization of the composite mosaic membranes was carried out through permeation experiments using different inorganic salts and dyes. The experimental results showed that the membranes could permeate both mono- and bi-valent inorganic salts, but reject larger organic molecules. Such a mosaic membrane is potentially useful for the separation of salts from water-soluble organics, especially in dye and textile industries.

利用全量子的分子轨道强耦舍方法。我们研究了基态的O^3（2s^22p^2P）与氢分子碰撞的解南电荷转移过程．分子轨道强耦合计算中采用了自旋耦合价带理论计算的三原子分子势能面和径向耦合矩阵元．对氢分子的自身转动，我们采用无限阶的冲量近似方法，在入射离子能量为0．1 eV／u到500 eV／u的能量区间。我们得到了非解离碰撞过程的振动态选择单电子俘获截面和解离碰撞过程的单电子俘获微分截面，发现解离碰撞截面大约占非解离过程的10％．这表明在实际的应用中。必须包含解离俘获过程的贡献．
