In this paper, we study the global asymptotic stability of a class of nonautonomous integro-differential systems. By constructing suitable Lyapunov functionals, we establish new and explicit criteria for the global asymptotic stability in the sense of Definition 2.1. In the autonomous case, we discuss the global asymptotic stability of a unique equilibrium of the system, and in the case of periodic system, we establish sufficient criteria for existence, uniqueness and global asymptotic stability of a periodic solution. Also explored are applications of our main results to some biological and neural network models. The examples show that our criteria are more general and easily applicable, and improve and generalize some existing results.  相似文献

In this paper, we revisit the famous Lotka-Volterra competitive system. By combining spectral matrix theory with Lyapunov function, some new sufficient conditions are obtained to guarantee the global asymptotic stability of a unique equilibrium for Lotka-Volterra competitive system. Our new results generalize and significantly improve the known results in the previous literature. The main purpose of this paper is to propose a new methodology to study the high-dimensional Lotka-Volterra system. And this method can be extensively used to study the global asymptotic stability of the equilibrium. Finally, some examples and their simulations show the feasibility and effectiveness of our results.  相似文献

The global exponential stability of the zero solution to a class of differential system with delay is considered.By constructing a suitable type of Lyapunov functional and using some analytical techniques,we derive some criteria to check exponential stability of this system.The results establish a relation between the delay time and the parameters of the system.Two examples are also given to illustrate the validity of the results.  相似文献

In this paper, we consider the existence and global exponential stability of positive pseudo almost periodic solutions for a delayed Nicholson‐type system with patch structure. With the aid of ergodic theory and differential inequality technique, we prove the existence and global exponential stability of positive pseudo almost periodic solutions for the addressed system, which generalize and improve some known results. Specially, an example and its numerical simulations are provided to manifest the effectiveness of theoretical results.  相似文献

We study the asymptotic stability and the global asymptotic stability of equilibria of autonomous systems of differential equations. We prove necessary and sufficient conditions for the global asymptotic stability of an equilibrium in terms of invariant compact sets and positively invariant sets. To verify these conditions, we use some results of the localization method for invariant compact sets of autonomous systems. These results are related to finding sets that contain all invariant compact sets of the system (localizing sets) and to the behavior of trajectories of the system with respect to localizing sets. We consider an example of a system whose equilibrium belongs to the critical case.  相似文献

Two models of a density dependent predator-prey system with Beddington-DeAngelis functional response are systematically considered. One includes the time delay in the functional response and the other does not. The explorations involve the permanence, local asymptotic stability and global asymptotic stability of the positive equilibrium for the models by using stability theory of differential equations and Lyapunov functions. For the permanence, the density dependence for predators is shown to give some negative effect for the two models. Further the permanence implies the local asymptotic stability for a positive equilibrium point of the model without delay. Also the global asymptotic stability condition, which can be easily checked for the model is obtained. For the model with time delay, local and global asymptotic stability conditions are obtained.  相似文献

In this paper, we consider the uniform asymptotic stability, global asymptotic stability and global exponential stability of the equilibrium point of Hopfield neural networks with delays and impulsive perturbation. Some new stability criteria for such system are derived by using the Lyapunov functional method and the linear matrix inequality approach. The results are related to the size of delays and impulses. Our results are less restrictive and conservative than that given in some earlier references. Finally, two numerical examples showing the effectiveness of the present criteria are given.  相似文献

We revisit the stability property of an ecological system consisting of a predator and stage structure prey which was proposed by Raid Kamel Naji and Salam Jasim Majeed. By constructing some suitable Lyapunov function and applying the differential inequality theory, we show that the conditions which ensure the local stability of the vanishing point are enough to ensure its global stability. In this paper, the global exponential stability and periodicity are investigated for a class generalized high-order neural networks with time delays and impulses; some sufficient conditions are derived for checking the global exponential stability and existence of periodic solutions for this system using the generalized Halanay inequality, mathematical induction and a fixed point theorem. The criteria given are easily verified and possess many adjustable parameters, which provides flexibility for the design and analysis of the system. In this paper, the global exponential stability is investigated for a class of stochastic interval neural networks with time-varying delays. The parameter uncertainties are assumed to be bounded in given compact sets. Based on Lyapunov stable theory and stochastic analysis approaches, the delay-dependent criteria are derived to ensure the global, robust, exponential stability of the addressed system in the mean square. The criteria can be checked easily by the LMI control toolbox in Matlab. A numerical example is given to illustrate the effectiveness and improvement over some existing results.  相似文献
