By introducing a convergent lens in the phase mask setup and by tilting appropriately the fiber from the phase mask, a linearly chirped fiber grating with an appropriate chirp can be obtained conveniently. Using this method, two groups of fiber gratings, each of them is composed of 8 overlaped linearly chirped fiber gratings but with different center reflection wavelength separations (~0.8 nm and ~1.6 nm, respectively) are fabricated. Experimental results show that, the compensators based on the two groups of fiber gratings can be used to compensate for the dispersion of 8×2.5 Gb/s transmission over 100 km of standard single-mode fiber for multiple channels in optical time-division multiplexing (OTDM) and densed wavelength division multiplexing (DWDM). 相似文献

The ferroelectric phase of potassium lithium niobate K3Li2–xNb5+xO15+2x (KLN) in the range of 0.15 < x < 0.5 is a very promising material for the second harmonic generation (SHG) in the blue visible region (∼410 nm). The ferroelectric phase transition was shown to occur between 400 and 500°C depending on the composition of the KLN phase. In this study several analysis techniques were used to investigate the phase transition on ferroelectric (x = 0.3) KLN samples. The temperature‐dependent measurements of the relative dielectric constant ε33 provided a phase transition temperature of about 470°C. In our DTA experiments, a small but reproducible thermal effect at the phase transition in KLN was indicated. The temperature‐dependent birefringence measurement technique, applied the first time on KLN, shows a second order behaviour at a temperature of 467 °C. However, this phase transition is accompanied by a small thermal effect. The DSC analysis for the other KLN composition (x = 0.5) provided a phase transition temperature of 514 °C. S‐Benzyl isothiouronium chloride single crystals were grown at room temperature by slow evaporation solution growth technique. Single crystal X‐ray diffraction study has been carried out to find the crystal system and unit cell parameters. Various functional groups present in the grown material have been identified using FTIR spectra. The transparency of crystal was tested using UV‐visible spectra. When the channel spacing is small, the performance of CFBGs is degraded, which

Nonlinear optical material of L‐alaninium oxalate (LAO) has been synthesized and single crystals are grown by slow evaporation technique. The solubility data of LAO is determined in water. Single crystal X‐ray diffraction study showed that LAO belongs to orthorhombic system with a non‐centrosymmetric space‐group P212121. The functional groups have been identified from FT‐IR spectrum. The UV‐Vis‐NIR spectrum of LAO shows less optical absorption in the entire visible region. The second harmonic generation (SHG) in the material was estimated using Nd:YAG laser. The mechanical properties of the grown crystals are studied using Vickers microhardness tester. A chirped fibre Bragg grating according to ITU-T suggested L-band
(2nd channel $\lambda _{1}=1570.83$~nm; 80th channel $\lambda
_{2}=1603.57$ nm) with more than 1800 ps/nm single channel dispersion
compensation is presented in this paper, of which the cladding mode
loss, the delay curve ripple and the power fluctuation of the
reflected spectrum are less than 0.5 dB, 50 ps and 0.25 dB,
respectively. With this new FBG as dispersion compensation device, a
$2\times 10$ Gb/s wavelength division multiplexing (WDM) L-band
transmission of 600 km based on conventional single mode fibre (G.652
fibre) is performed without forward error correction. The bit error
rate (BER) is less than 10$^{ - 12}$ and the power penalties of the
2{nd} and 80{th} channel of L-band are 1.8~dB and 2.0~dB,

提出光纤近红外光谱技术在线和快速检测中药甘草中有效成分甘草酸含量的方法。对含甘草酸浓度在0.94%~3.06%内的甘草,根据其在10 000~4 000 cm-1的近红外吸收光谱, 采用偏最小二乘算法(PLS)和主成分回归算法(PCR)建立了校正模型,比较了光谱不同前处理方法对校正结果的影响,当采用数据标准化并求一阶导前处理时可较好提取中药复杂体系的信息。当采用PLS算法时,校正集相关系数为0.958,校正集标准偏差(SEC)为0.179,验证集标准偏差(SEP)为0.197,PLS算法优于PCR算法。该方法快速和简便,适合于中药有效成分在线监控。 相似文献
