Standard pseudo-Hermitian structure on manifolds and seifert fibration

A strictly pseudoconvex pseudo-Hermitian manifoldM admits a canonical Lorentz metric as well as a canonical Riemannian metric. Using these metrics, we can define a curvaturelike function onM. AsM supports a contact form, there exists a characteristic vector field dual to the contact structure. If induces a local one-parameter group ofCR transformations, then a strictly pseudoconvex pseudo-Hermitian manifoldM is said to be a standard pseudo-Hermitian manifold. We study topological and geometric properties of standard pseudo-Hermitian manifolds of positive curvature or of nonpositive curvature . By the definition, standard pseudo-Hermitian manifolds are calledK-contact manifolds by Sasaki. In particular, standard pseudo-Hermitian manifolds of constant curvature turn out to be Sasakian space forms. It is well known that a conformally flat manifold contains a class of Riemannian manifolds of constant curvature. A sphericalCR manifold is aCR manifold whose Chern-Moser curvature form vanishes (equivalently, Weyl pseudo-conformal curvature tensor vanishes). In contrast, it is emphasized that a sphericalCR manifold contains a class of standard pseudo-Hermitian manifolds of constant curvature (i.e., Sasakian space forms). We shall classify those compact Sasakian space forms. When 0, standard pseudo-Hermitian closed aspherical manifolds are shown to be Seifert fiber spaces. We consider a deformation of standard pseudo-Hermitian structure preserving a sphericalCR structure.Dedicated to Professor Sasao Seiya for his sixtieth birthday     

粉煤灰与复合添加剂的固相反应过程分析

煤灰分中主要矿物质之间的反应对灰分特性有着重要影响。本文在具有温控的小型高温反应器中对粉煤灰和复合添加剂所组成的混合灰样进行了静态煅烧试验，并对煅烧后的灰样进行了X射线衍射分析（XRD），着重讨论了温度和时间以及复合添加剂量对灰分矿相组成特性的影响。试验结果表明：当温度低于1200℃时，灰色中主要是游离态的氧化物和部分新生成的矿物如钙黄长石，硅酸二钙；当温度在1200℃-1300℃时，灰分中的主要矿物是钙黄长石，当温度在1320℃－1350℃时，灰分主要矿物是硅酸二钙，同时存在一定量的硅酸三钙、铝酸三钙、铁铝酸四钙以及硫铝酸钙。随着灰分中氧化钙的含量增加，高碱性矿物含量逐渐增大，同时高温下加热持续时间过长，部分新生成的矿物将发生分解。     

THE ESTABLISHMENT OF TWO SETS OF ALIEN ADDITION LINES OF WHEATWHEATGRASS

The procedure and method for the transfer of two sets of 14 pairs of wheatgrass (Agropyron interrnedium) chromosomes into common wheat to establish two sets of wheat-wheatgrass alien addition lines are reported. Meanwhile, observations and analyses have been made on the phenotypicaI characters of all the 14 alien addition lines established. It is determined that wheatgrass chromosomes in some of the established addition lines carry the rustresistant genes. In addition, questions concerning the location and distribution of certain agriculturally important genes of wheatgrass chromosomes have been discussed.     

New far infrared laser lines obtained by optically pumping13CD3OD

We have obtained laser action on 34 far infrared lines for the first time in fully deuterated methyl alcohol with the¹³C isotope (¹³CD₃OD), and we have measured the frequency of 13 lines. The molecule was pumped by a cw CO₂ laser. We have measured the wavelength, the relative polarization, the relative intensity of most lines, the frequency, and the CO₂ pump frequency offset of the strongest lines. The new lines are distributed in the wavelength region from 75.27 m to 464.7 m.Supported in part by a joint grant with the U.S. National Science Foundation grant # INT 80-19014 and the Brazilian Conselho Nacional de Pesquisas (CNPq).     

L-色氨酸功能化多壁碳纳米管的制备与表征

采用L-色氨酸作为修饰剂,制备了一种新型功能化的多壁碳纳米管,并对其进行了表征。红外光谱和电化学实验均证实碳纳米管和色氨酸是通过酰胺键共价键合的。其中,循环伏安实验中0V附近羧基峰的消失与红外光谱中N-酰化氨基酸的—C=O峰的形成相对应,证明了共价键的形成。     

Dislocation Analysis for Large-sized Sapphire Single Crystal Grown by SAPMAC Method

In this paper,large-sized sapphire (230×210 mm,27.5 kg) was grown by SAPMAC method (sapphire growth technique with micro-pulling and shoulder-expanding at the cooled center). Dislocation peculiarity in large sapphire boule (0001) basal plane was investigated by chemical etching,scanning electron microscopy and X-ray topography method. The triangular dislocation etch pit measured is 7.6×101～8.0×102 cm-2,in which relative high-density dislocations were generated at both initial and final stages of crystal growth. The analysis of single-crystal X-ray topography shows that there are no apparent sub-grain boundaries; the dislocation lines are isolated and straight. Finally,the origins of low-density dislocation in sapphire crystal are discussed by numerical analysis method.     

Solid-state synthesis and properties of SmCoO3

In this paper, perovskite oxide SmCoO₃ was prepared by the solid-state reaction method using Co₂O₃ and Sm₂O₃ as raw materials. The structure and properties of the samples were investigated by XRD, Raman spectral techniques, and DC measurements and so on. The results of XRD and Raman spectra showed that the mixtures of Co₂O₃ and Sm₂O₃ can react to produce a single phase perovskite oxide SmCoO₃ around 1353 K. The single-phase SmCoO₃ changes from an insulator to a semi-conductor and transition occurs around 470 K. The thermal expansion coefficient (2.17 × 10⁻⁵ K⁻¹) of the single-phase SmCoO₃ is approximately equal to that of doped LaGaO₃, but much bigger than that of SDC(Ce_0.85Sm_0.15O₂) above 873 K.     

Synthesis and Electrochemical Studies of Spinel LiNi1−xMnxVO4

Spinel compound LiNi_1−xMn_xVO₄ (0≤x≤0.4) had been prepared by using the moist chemical method. X-ray diffraction spectra showed that the lattice constant increased with x in the LiNi_1−xMn_xVO₄, XPS spectra indicating that Li1s had a chemical shift towards lesser binding energy, and manganese in LiNi_1−xMn_xVO₄ existing as the mixed valence of Mn²⁺ and Mn³⁺. The electrochemical charge and discharge testing at a current density of 0.1 mA/cm² between the potentials of 4.0 and 3.0 V vs Li/Li⁺ in 1 mol/dm³ LiPF₆/EC+DEC (1:1 by volume) at 25°C showed that LiNi_1−xMn_xVO₄ cell has a better rechargeability, but a lower cell voltage of 4.0 V vs Li/Li⁺ than that without the doping sample, and the capacity and the cycle efficiency of the Li/LiNi_1−xMn_xVO₄ cells increased with x in the LiNi_1−xMn_xVO₄.
