| Abstract: | The general theory of spectral deconvolution using fast Fourier transforms is deseribed.The method provides a way of computationally resolving overlapped lines that can not be instrumentally resolved due to their limited resolution.The computational prog- ram is made and flow chart is given.Examples of the application of the tcehnique to syn- thetic and experimental X-ray fluorescence spectra are presented.The possibility of the pr- ogram appling to sulfur valence analysis is discussed. |
