Accurate computations of matrices with bidiagonal decomposition using methods for totally positive matrices

A class of sign‐symmetric P‐matrices including all nonsingular totally positive matrices and their inverses as well as tridiagonal nonsingular H‐matrices is presented and analyzed. These matrices present a bidiagonal decomposition that can be used to obtain algorithms to compute with high relative accuracy their singular values, eigenvalues, inverses, or their LDU factorization. On parametrization of totally nonpositive matrices and applications

The problem of accurate computations for totally non‐negative matrices has been studied; however, it remains open for other sign regular matrices. One major obstacle is that there is no known parametrization of these matrices. The main contribution of the present work is that we provide such parametrization of nonsingular totally nonpositive matrices. A useful application of our results is that these parameters can determine accurately the entries of the inverse of a nonsingular totally nonpositive matrix. Sign consistent linear programming problems

This article studies linear programming problems in which all minors of maximal order of the coefficient matrix have the same sign. We analyse the relationship between a special structure of the non-degenerate dual feasible bases of a linear programming problem and the structure of its associated matrix. In the particular case in which the matrix has all minors of each order k with the same strict sign ? _k , we provide a dual simplex revised method with good stability properties. In particular, this method can be applied to the totally positive linear programming problems, of great interest in many applications.     

移动特征靶标的摄像机径向畸变标定

针对成像测量系统中镜头径向畸变影响测量精度的问题,提出了一种基于物面移动同心圆特征靶标的径向畸变标定方法。该方法先将固定在二维精密平台上的同心圆靶标置于垂直物面的特定位置,然后采集靶标图像,同时用最小二乘法以拟合得到的圆直径为条件,按一定方式移动特征靶标,直到拟合值达到极值或者在一定误差范围内。记录该幅图像,则其拟合得到的圆心坐标便是畸变中心,同时利用该幅图像,根据等差值半径和摄像机成像模型的半径的成像关系求出其畸变多项式系数。为提高特征靶标的移动效率,提出了坐标轮换最优化移动的方案。实验结果表明,该方法对畸变中心的标定精度可达0.6pixel,畸变多项式系数有效数字重复误差小于0.02,并可实现两者的一靶标定,且利用该法获得的参数能实现对畸变图像的准确校正。     

Superminimal surfaces in hyperquadric Q2

We study a superminimal surface M immersed into a hyperquadric Q₂ in several cases classified by two global defined functions {{\displaystyle \tau }}_X and {{\displaystyle \tau }}_Y, which were introduced by X. X. Jiao and J. Wang to study a minimal immersion f : M\to {{\displaystyle Q}}_{\mathrm{2}}. In case both {{\displaystyle \tau }}_X and {{\displaystyle \tau }}_Y are not identically zero, it is proved that f is superminimal if and only if f is totally real or i\circ f:M\to {ℂ\mathrm{P}}^{\mathrm{3}} is also minimal, where i:{{\displaystyle Q}}_{\mathrm{2}}\to {ℂ\mathrm{P}}^{\mathrm{3}} is the standard inclusion map. In the rest case that {{\displaystyle \tau }}_X\equiv \mathrm{0} or {{\displaystyle \tau }}_Y\equiv \mathrm{0}, the minimal immersion f is automatically superminimal. As a consequence, all the superminimal two-spheres in Q₂ are completely described.     

非均匀的二次三角双曲加权样条曲线

提出一种基于三角和双曲多项式加权的二次混合样条曲线,这种曲线具有二次非均匀B样条曲线相似性质.这里的权系数也是形状参数,称之为权参数,取值范围从区间[0,1]扩大到区间[-2.6482,3.9412].权参数的不同取值可以整体或局部地调整曲线的形状,并且权参数能像开关那样,使得曲线的各段能非常方便地在三角样条、双曲样条之间自由转换.不需要用重节点方法或解方程组,而只要令某个或某些权参数取-2.6482,曲线就能接插值于控制点或控制边.此外,还能精确表示椭圆(圆)和双曲线.

ON MINIMAL IMMERSIONS OF R^2 INTO THE NEARLY KAHLER S^6

In terms of the almost complex affine connection and moving unitary frames,all totally rael minimal immersions from R^2 into the nearly Kahler S^6 are determine explicitly. Moreover, the complete flat almost complex curves in the nearly Kahler S^6 aredetermined completely.
