Probability Interpretation of the Integral of Fractional Order

We establish a relation between stable distributions in probability theory and the fractional integral. Moreover, it turns out that the parameter of the stable distribution coincides with the exponent of the fractional integral. It follows from an analysis of the obtained results that equations with the fractional time derivative describe the evolution of some physical system whose time degree of freedom becomes stochastic, i.e., presents a sum of random time intervals subject to a stable probability distribution. We discuss relations between the fractal Cantor set (Cantor strips) and the fractional integral. We show that the possibility to use this relation as an approximation of the fractional integral is rather limited.     

非线性光纤环形镜的脉冲透过特性研究

研究了光纤反常色散区非线性环形镜（NOLM）的脉冲透过特性，得到NOLM周期性透过率函数 第一极大值处透过率、压缩比和对应的孤子阶数与环长之间的函数关系图.通过比较长环和 短环NOLM对无啁啾、啁啾脉冲的透过率和压缩比特性，得出了长环有利于脉冲整形而短环有 利于脉冲压缩的结论. 关键词： 非线性环形镜 透过率 压缩比 孤子阶数     

注浆覆岩离层力学机理及其离层发育分类研究

依据覆岩离层生成的力学机理,结合煤层开采程度的不同,将可注浆层位的离层划分为三类.以岩石的应变为指标,确立了覆岩离层可注浆层位岩梁的断裂步距表达式,理论上证明了划分注浆层位的合理性.根据岩石的全应力应变试验,结合现场实际观测数据,对以应变为指标的岩梁断裂步距表达式做了初步验证.结果表明:可注浆层位的分类和断裂步距表达式的确定对注浆减沉工程具有指导意义.     

四阶非线性边值问题解的存在性与上下解方法

该文讨论四阶常微分方程边值问题u^(4)(t)=f(t,u,u″), t∈［0,1］,u(0)=u(1)=u″(0)=u″(1)=0解的存在性, 其中f(t,u,v):［0,1］×R×R→R为Carathéodory函数. 在不限制f关于u,v的增长阶, 不假定f关于u,v的单调性的一般情形下, 用上下解方法获得了解的存在性结果,并讨论了单调迭代求解的有效性.     

在高密度下核物质的色超导性

建立了相变热力学理论和场论的关系. 强调在量子场论中必须引进序参量场， 则相变的讨论就类似于Goldstone bosons 的产生. 如果只讨论一级相变， Goldstone bosons场就足够了; 如果要讨论二级相变， 则必须讨论一系列的场， 这些场构成一个对称群的表示. 另外, 也将这一思想用到色超导中. In this paper we built a relation between the thermodynamical theory of the phase transition and field theory. We emphasized that in the quantum field theory we have to introduce the order parameter fields. Then the discussion of the phase transition is closed to the creation of the Goldstone bosons. If we only discuss the first order transition, the Goldstone bosons fields are sufficient. If we want to discuss the second order transition, we have to discuss a set of fields that constructs a representation of a symmetry group. We also apply this concept to color superconductivity.     

Structure and properties of the mesophase of syndiotactic polystyrene. II. Effect of stepwise extraction on the preparation of the mesophase

In this study, a novel stepwise extraction method has been examined. The guest molecules housed between the helices of the clathrate δ form of syndiotactic polystyrene can be removed completely with this method. A systematic study of the preparation of a solvent‐free mesophase (emptied clathrate) membrane, its helical and residual solvent contents, and its structural transformations has been performed. In this first attempt, an enhancement in the TTGG helical content has been observed in the extracted membrane, and a conceptual mechanism is proposed. © 2002 Wiley Periodicals, Inc. Pump–probe second harmonic generation study of ultrafast spin dynamics in semiconductor multilayers

We report the first application of pump–probe second harmonic generation (SHG) measurements to characterize optically induced magnetization in non‐magnetic multilayer semiconductors. In the experiment, spin‐polarized electrons are excited selectively by a pump beam in the GaAs layer of GaAs/GaSb/InAs structures. However, the resulting net magnetization manifests itself through the induced SHG probe signal from the GaSb/InAs interface, thus indicating a spin‐polarized electron transport across the heterostructure. We find that the magnetization dynamics are governed by an interplay between the spin density evolution at the interfaces and the spin relaxation. Copyright © 2003 John Wiley & Sons, Ltd.     

Dynamics of the periodic type-K competitive Kolmogorov systems

For time-periodic dissipative and irreducible type-K competitive Kolmogorov systems, it is proved that there is a canonically defined countable family F of unordered, disjoint invariant sets with the property that, for every persistent trajectory whose ω-limit set is not a cycle, there exists a unique trajectory in some element of F such that these two trajectories are asymptotic and the corresponding points in these two trajectories are K-related.

Probability Inequalities and Limit Theorems for Generalized L-Statistics

We obtain exponential upper bounds for tails of distributions of generalized L-statistics based on a sample from an exponential distribution. We prove the asymptotic normality of generalized L-statistics based on a sample from the uniform distribution on [0,1] and of L-statistics with decomposed kernels (without any restrictions on the sample distribution type).
