Monte Carlo Simulations of Observation Time-Dependent Self-Diffusion in Porous Media Models

Observation time-dependent self-diffusion coefficients can be used to obtain microstructural information of porous media. This paper presents two different kinds of Monte Carlo simulations of the self diffusion process of fluids like water in porous systems, a lattice-free method and a lattice-based method. The results for simple porous media model geometries agree well with each other and with published analytical as well as semi-analytical equations. The use of these equations, which are important for the interpretation of Pulsed Field Gradient-Nuclear Magnetic Resonance (PFG-NMR) time-dependent diffusion data with respect to properties of porous media, is discussed.     

Limit circle invariance for two differential systems on time scales

In this paper we consider two linear differential systems on a time scale. Both systems depend linearly on a complex spectral parameter λ. We prove that if all solutions of these two systems are square integrable with respect to a given weight matrix for one value λ₀, then this property is preserved for all complex values λ. This result extends and improves the corresponding continuous time statement, which was derived by Walker (1975) for two non‐hermitian linear Hamiltonian systems, to appropriate differential systems on arbitrary time scales. The result is new even in the purely discrete case, or in the scalar time scale case, as well as when both time scale systems coincide. The latter case also generalizes a limit circle invariance criterion for symplectic systems on time scales, which was recently derived by the authors.

On the limit law of a random walk conditioned to reach a high level

We consider a random walk with a negative drift and with a jump distribution which under Cramér’s change of measure belongs to the domain of attraction of a spectrally positive stable law. If conditioned to reach a high level and suitably scaled, this random walk converges in law to a nondecreasing Markov process which can be interpreted as a spectrally positive Lévy process conditioned not to overshoot level 1.     

考虑破产控制的多期模糊资产-负债组合优化模型

在实际的投资决策过程中,一些投资者需要同时管理资产和负债,因此本文研究考虑破产控制和偿债行为的资产-负债管理问题。假设风险资产的收益率和负债的增长率为模糊数,用资产-负债组合的可能性期望和下半绝对偏差度量其收益和风险,以最大化最终期望净财富和最小化最终累积风险为目标,建立了允许限制性卖空的多期模糊资产-负债组合优化模型。然后,设计了一个基于粒子群算法和模拟退火算法的混合智能算法对模型进行求解。最后,通过实例分析说明了所设计算法与传统粒子群算法相比具有更好的优化性能和稳定性。本文所提出策略可以为需要同时管理资产和负债的投资者提供决策支持。     

力梯度辛方法在圆型限制性三体问题中的应用

旋转坐标系下的圆型限制性三体问 题因含非惯性系所附加的影响部分使得动能不是动量的严格二次型, 可能导致力梯度辛积分算法的应用遇到困难. 从Lie算子运算出发, 严格论证了力梯度算子在这种情形下的物理意义 仍然像质心惯性坐标系下的圆型限制性三体问题那样是引力的梯度, 而不是引力与非惯性力所得合力的梯度, 表明了力梯度辛方法适合求解旋转坐标系下的圆型限制性三体问题. 通过应用四阶力梯度辛方法、最优化四阶力梯度辛方法和Forest-Ruth 辛方法分别求解该问题, 进行了数值对比研究, 结果显示最优化型力梯度算法能够取得最好精度. 还应用最优化型算法计算两邻近轨道的Lyapunov指数和快速Lyapunov指标, 确保高精度辛方法能够贯穿于这些混沌指标计算的全过程, 以便准确刻画此系统的动力学定性性质. 关键词： 辛积分器 圆型限制性三体问题 混沌 Lyapunov指数
