Meet continuous lattices, limit spaces, and L-topological spaces

In this paper, a systematic investigation of the relationship between meet continuous lattices, limit spaces, and L-topological spaces is given. It is a continuation of the investigation on this topic by Höhle (2000, 2001). The relationship between the Lowen functors and the functors introduced by Höhle (2000, 2001) is made clear.

Double Short Exact Sequences and K1 of an Exact Category

We introduce a modification of the Bass group K ₁ ^det . Our group is defined by generators and relations, in terms of double short exact Sequences instead of automorphisms. We establish its relation to Quillen's K₁ by dealing with loops in the G-construction.

Generalized cluster complexes via quiver representations

We give a quiver representation theoretic interpretation of generalized cluster complexes defined by Fomin and Reading. Using d-cluster categories defined by Keller as triangulated orbit categories of (bounded) derived categories of representations of valued quivers, we define a d-compatibility degree (−∥−) on any pair of “colored” almost positive real Schur roots which generalizes previous definitions on the noncolored case and call two such roots compatible, provided that their d-compatibility degree is zero. Associated to the root system Φ corresponding to the valued quiver, using this compatibility relation, we define a simplicial complex which has colored almost positive real Schur roots as vertices and d-compatible subsets as simplices. If the valued quiver is an alternating quiver of a Dynkin diagram, then this complex is the generalized cluster complex defined by Fomin and Reading. Analytic and Luzin spaces (non-separable case)

We introduce the concept of κ-analytic and κ-Luzin spaces as images of complete metric spaces by (disjoint) upper semi-continuous compact-valued correspondences which “preserve discreteness” in some sence (Definition in Section 3.1). The case κ = ω coincides with (Lindelöf) analytic spaces studied by Choquet, the first author and others. The main results are characterizations of uniform analytic spaces in terms of other parametrizations, complete sequences of covers, and Suslin subsets of some product of a compact and a complete metric space (Theorems in Section 3.2 and in Section 4), and characterizations of topological analytic spaces as Suslin subsets of paracompact ?ech-complete spaces (Theorem in Section 5).
