The first part of the paper deals with a critical discussion of the methodical basis of essential work of fracture (EWF) concept with respect to the specimen geometry (especially the notch depth) and application to polymers. In the second part, an in situ testing device, which combines a tensile testing machine with an optical strain-field measuring system, has successfully demonstrated possibility of characterization of fracture behaviour of polystyrene-polybutadiene block copolymers and block copolymer/homopolymer blends as examples of nanostructured polymer materials. It has been shown that knowledge of the time evolution of the strain field close to the crack tips leads to a simple verification of the basic precondition for the applicability of the EWF concept, the precondition “plastic zone coalescence-before-stable crack propagation”.  相似文献

The effect of monomer concentration on photografting of methacrylic acid (MAA) onto linear low-density polyethylene (PE) film (thickness=30 μm) was investigated at 60 °C in water solvent together with the location of MAA-grafted chains. Xanthone was used as a photoinitiator which was coated on the film sample earlier. The higher percentage of grafting and graft efficiency were afforded for the system with the higher monomer concentration. The resultant MAA-grafted films were subjected to measurements of pH-responsive character and ability to adsorb cupric ion in order to understand the characteristics of function introduced. The grafted samples exhibited the pH-responsive character, where they shrank and swelled in acidic and alkaline media, respectively. The pH-responsive character of the grafted films was higher for the samples prepared in the system with a higher monomer concentration. Moreover, the grafted samples exhibited the ability to adsorb cupric ion, and the ability was reduced when the sample was prepared in the system with a higher monomer concentration. The different extents of the pH-responsive character and ability to adsorb cupric ion of the resulting grafted PE films were discussed in terms of location of grafted chains in the film substrate, which was determined by a scanning electron microscope and an attenuated total reflection infrared spectroscopy.  相似文献

采用浸渍法,制备了用于合成吲哚的Cu/SiO2催化剂,研究了不同载体和活性组分Cu对苯胺和乙二醇一步合成吲哚反应的催化活性,发现γ-Al2O3、活性炭、Na-Y,SiO2-MgO、MCM41、SiO26种载体中,SiO2是最好的载体;催化剂活性组分Cu含量为0.78mmol/gSiO2时,吲哚的收率高达88%,考察了水蒸汽、氢气、反应温度及接触时间等因素对反应性能的影响,并对催化剂进行了TG测试,得到了Cu/Sio2催化剂催化合成吲哚适应反应条件。  相似文献

The acid-catalyzed models on reaction mechanisms of pinacol rearrangement of propylene glycol conversion to propanal and propanone have been investigated using the density functional method at 298.15 K. Thermodynamic quantities of activation steps of four water-addition models were obtained. The number of added water interacting with the transition states of three concerted pathways has obviously affected the product ratio. The relative energetic profiles of the conversion reactions of all solvation models have been comparatively displayed. Estimation of the percent ratio of product composition computed from activation free energies of each acid-catalyzed reaction model was carried out. The percent ratios of propanal and propanone were decreased as the number of added water increased.  相似文献

Polyethylene based composites are attractive materials for advanced circuit board applications because of their unique combination of properties: low dielectric constant and loss factor, light weight, high flexural modulus and low thermal expansion coefficient controlled in all spatial directions. This investigation describes a process to consolidate chopped fibers of ultra‐high molecular weight polyethylene concurrently with its bonding to a copper foil. Bonding is affected by a thin sheet of low‐density polyethylene, incorporating a crosslinking agent with a concentration gradient across the sheets thickness. In this single step process, the composite material is formed and bonded to the metal foil, achieving good adhesion without the use of extraneous glue. A series of poly(ethylene glycol) biscoumarinyloxyacetatea have been synthesized and their intramolecular photochemical cyclodimerizations have been studied. It was found that only syn-HT configuration products were obtained when these bisesters were directly irradiated in chloroform, and the yields of the products decreased with the increase of the chain length. This photocyclization reaction is a convenient and effective method to synthesize macrocyclic compounds.  相似文献

Block copolymerization by using isocyanates is an effective method for incorporating PHB and PEG because it can prepare copolymers with good properties, such as toughness, strength, and so on. In this study, we adopted soil suspension system to estimate the biodegradability of a series of PHB/PEG multiblock copolymers with different compositions and block lengths. In the degradation process, the changes in weight loss, molecular weight, and tensile strength were periodically measured to determine the biodegradability, and the surface morphology was also observed by SEM. In contrast to pure PHB, the weight loss of the copolymer was relatively lower. On the other hand, the tensile strength and molecular weight experienced apparent decrease, and for BHG1000-3-1, they reached 46.7% and 77.7% of the initial value, respectively. SEM observation showed that the surface was covered with numerous erosion pits. All these indicate that the degradation indeed took place and long-chain molecules have been hydrolyzed into shorter ones. The crystallization behavior was also investigated by DSC and WAXD. The results showed that both the segments, PEG and PHB, can form crystalline phases at lower PHB contents ranging from 29% to 44%, and when PHB component was more than 60%, only PHB phase can crystallize.  相似文献
