Temperature effect on dissipative holographicscreening-photovoltaic solitons in a biased dissipative system

In a biased dissipative photovoltaic-photorefractive system, this paper investigates the temperature effect on the evolution and the self-deflection of the dissipative holographic screening-photovoltaic （DHSP） solitons. The results reveal that, the evolution and the self-deflection of the bright and dark DHSP solitons are influenced by the system temperature. At a given temperature, for a stable DHSP soliton originally formed in the dissipative system, it attempts to evolve into another DHSP soliton when the temperature change is appropriately small, whereas it will become unstable or break down if the temperature departure is large enough. Moreover, the self-deflection degree of the solitary beam centre increases as temperature rises in some range, while it is decided by the system parameters and is slight under small-signal condition. The system temperature can be adjusted to change the formation and the self-deflection of the solitary beam in order to gain certain optical ends. In a word, the system temperature plays a role for the DHSP solitons in the dissipative system.     

The second-order dynamic phase transition and Lee--Yang zeros in Eggers urn model

A second-order dynamic phase transition in a non-equilibrium Eggers urn model for the separation of sand is studied. The order parameter, the susceptibility and the stationary probability distribution have been calculated. By applying the Lee-Yang zeros method of equilibrium phase transitions, we study the distributions of the effective partition function zeros and obtain the same result for the model. Thus, the Lee-Yang theory can be applied to a more general non-equilibrium system.     

New robust chaotic system with exponential quadratic term

This paper proposes a new robust chaotic system of three-dimensional quadratic autonomous ordinary differential equations by introducing an exponential quadratic term. This system can display a double-scroll chaotic attractor with only two equilibria, and can be found to be robust chaotic in a very wide parameter domain with positive maximum Lyapunov exponent. Some basic dynamical properties and chaotic behaviour of novel attractor are studied. By numerical simulation, this paper verifies that the three-dimensional system can also evolve into periodic and chaotic behaviours by a constant controller.     

Soliton squeezing generated in an all-fiber contiguration

We experimentally demonstrate amplitude squeezed soliton utilizing intensity-dependent self-phase modulation in an asymmetric Sagnac interferometer.The system.whose components are connected via ferrule connector/physical connection(FC/PC)fiber connectors,constitutes all-fiber configuration to generate squeezed soliton.Soliton amplitude reduction measured by homodyne detection is near 4.0 dB below the shot-noise level.Optimal squeezing fields in both simple and compact all-fiber configuration are obtained.     

光栅莫尔条纹在机床数控改造中的应用研究

从机床数控改造的实际出发，针对我国目前国产机床加工精度普遍不高，数控化程度较低等问题，提出了一种全新的设计方案，利用光栅作为位置检测元件，形成全闭环控制系统，结果表明既能够大大提高零件的加工精度，又能节省改造成本，为机床数控改造提供了参考。     

人造复眼成像系统研究的新进展

人造复眼成像系统具有体积小、功耗低、视角范围广等优点，是一种应用前景非常广阔的光成像系统。综述了人造复眼成像系统的研究背景及最新的研究进展，其中包宿基于不同仿生设计理念的各种新型人造复眼结构以及能够实现诸如彩色成像、指纹识别、全视角成像等新功能的实验系统；展望了人造复眼成像系统今后的研究方向。     

一种应用于LCoS光机的复眼照明系统仿真设计

复眼照明系统利用复眼透镜，可实现高亮度和较好的亮度均匀性，并且有较成熟的偏振处理方法，在投影系统特别是基于偏振光的投影系统中能提供比光棒照明系统更加高的亮度和好的均匀性的画面，使得光能利用率和图像均匀性有了较大的提高。在对复眼照明系统的原理进行分析的基础上，设计了一种用于投影光机的复眼照明系统，并用Matlab对该系统进行了光线追迹的仿真程序设计。对复眼照明系统的光线追迹进行了仿真。实际应用证明，在LCoS中采用本方案设计的照明系统比光棒照明系统具有更高的亮度和更好的均匀性。     

Simple and robust digital holography for high-resolution imaging

Based on the point spread function of holographic system,the lateral resolution of digital holographic imaging system without any pre-magnification is studied.The expression of resolution limitation of holographic imaging system is thus presented.We investigate the possibilities to improve the lateral resolution.The simple experimental setup with an off-axis arrangement is built.By using a U.S.Air Force(USAF)test target as microscopic object,the recorded holograms are reconstructed digitally based on the principle of Fresnel diffraction.The lateral resolution of 2.76 μm without any pre-magnification is demonstrated experimentally,which matches the theoretical prediction well.     

Normalized intensity correlation function of single-mode laser system driven by colored cross-correlation noises

Considering a single-mode laser system with cross-correlated additive colored noise and multiplicative colored noise, we study the effects of correlation among noises on the normalized intensity correlation function C(s).C(s) is derived by means of the projection operator method.     

Optical system and lens design for Blu-ray disc optical pick-up

During the design process of Blu-ray disc optical pick-up (BD OPU), the optical system and the collimator lens design is especially important. This paper designs an optical system and some lenses for the BD OPU, including collimator lens, beam shaping lens for laser beam shaping, and cylinder lens for signal detecting. In this OPU, we use a triplet lens to collimate the laser beam. At the same time, we build a series of assembly jigs to make sure that each lens can be put into the OPU basement properly. At last, we get the reading spot image and S-curve photo of OPU, which can be used to read Blu-ray disc (BD).
