CONVERGENCE OF AN ITERATION METHOD WITHOUT DERIVATIVE

In this paper, we give a convergence theorem and error estimates for an iteration method under new Kantorovitch-Ostrowski type condition using the information of higher derivatives at initial points. Compared with the corresponding study in [3],the convergence determination is established under one global condition, instead of two , on the function.     

Synthesis of acetone oxime through acetone ammoximation over TS-1

The ammoximation of acetone to acetone oxime with 30 wt.% hydrogen peroxide over TS-1 has been studied. The conversion of acetone and the selectivity to acetone oxime can reach 99% and 94%, respectively. The by-products are the corresponding hydrazone, imine and small amounts of unidentified compounds. The influence of various parameters such as solvent, temperature, amounts of catalyst and the NH₃ to acetone molar ratio were investigated. On boundary conditions in three-dimensional AdS gravity

A finite action principle for three-dimensional gravity with negative cosmological constant, based on a boundary condition for the asymptotic extrinsic curvature, is considered. The bulk action appears naturally supplemented by a boundary term that is one half the Gibbons–Hawking term, that makes the Euclidean action and the Noether charges finite without additional Dirichlet counterterms. The consistency of this boundary condition with the Dirichlet problem in AdS gravity and the Chern–Simons formulation in three dimensions, and its suitability for the higher odd-dimensional case, are also discussed.     

Ultrafast non-linear optical properties of Ge20As25Se55 chalcogenide films

The non-resonant third-order non-linear optical properties of amorphous Ge₂₀As₂₅Se₅₅ films were studied experimentally by the method of the femtosecond optical heterodyne detection of optical Kerr effect. The real and imaginary parts of complex third-order optical non-linearity could be effectively separated and their values and signs could be also determined, which were 6.6 × 10⁻¹² and −2.4 × 10⁻¹² esu, respectively. Amorphous Ge₂₀As₂₅Se₅₅ films showed a very fast response in the range of 200 fs under ultrafast excitation. The ultrafast response and large third-order non-linearity are attributed to the ultrafast distortion of the electron orbitals surrounding the average positions of the nucleus of Ge, As and Se atoms. The high third-order susceptibility and a fast response time of amorphous Ge₂₀As₂₅Se₅₅ films makes it a promising material for application in advanced techniques especially in optical switching.     

Asymmetric synthesis XXVII: Asymmetric catalytic trimethylsilylcyanation of aldehydes by novel Ti-chiral Schiff base complexes

Enantioselective catalytic trimethylsilylcyanations of aldehydes with 48% to 92% e.e. have been studied using the novel Ti-chiral Schiff base complexes. We have found that the catalyst led to high enantoselectivity when the molar ratio of the Schiff base 1 to Ti(O-i-Pr)₄ was 2:1.     

FTS-20E富里叶红外光谱仪数据系统改造

报道了ＦＴＳ－２０Ｆ富里叶红外光谱仪数据系统改造的工作采用ＩＢＭ４８６计算机及新的数据接口取代了陈旧的ＮＯＶＡ４数据系统，文章详细描述了其硬件设计和软件编辑，改造不仅更新了ＦＴＳ－２０Ｅ里叶红外光谱仪，而且还使其达到９０年代的水平。

毛细管电泳免疫分析是一种新兴的免疫分析技术，较常规免疫分析方法具有很多的优越性。本文对毛细管电泳免疫分析近几年的发展情况作了总结，并对其发展的动向作了评述。     

具有C2对称轴的手性配体及其不对称催化反应

按配位原子的数目进行分类，综述了近年来研究较多的具有Ｃ２对称轴的手性配体及其相关的不对称催化反应，并对该类手性配体的设计做了分析和总结。参考文献７９篇。     

Concentration and clean-up of trace hydrocarbons from atmospheric particulate matter

Summary The aim of this work is to establish the best conditions for concentration and purification steps in the trace analysis of aliphatic and polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons (PAH) from atmospheric particulate matter by gas chromatography-flame ionisation detection (GC-FID) and high performance liquid chromatography with ultraviolet and fluorescence detection (HPLC-UV-FL). The best results for the more volatile compound were obtained with a combination of rotary evaporation and a stream of nitrogen (near to 100% for aliphatic hydrocarbons and from 70 to 105% for PAH). Two types of solid phase extraction (SPE)cartridges (Supelclean ^tm LC-Silica SPE tubes and Sep-Pak^? Plus silica cartridges) and glass column were examined for the purification and fractionation step. Blank chromatograms of both types of cartridges analysed by GC-FID made this study difficult, because a PSS (programmed split-splitless) injector was employed thereby increasing the sensitivity. This problem was not observed in the HPLC-UV-FL blank chromatograms of these cartridges. Glass columns filled with silica and alumina were chosen because no interference was found in the GC-FID blank chromatograms and the best recoveries in the fractionation of both aliphatic hydrocarbons and PAH were achieved. This is especially important when aliphatic hydrocarbons concentrations are lower than 1 μg mL⁻¹. Finally, the selected conditions were applied to the analysis of hydrocarbons in real atmospheric particulate samples.     

L—半胱氨酸与铁镍锌铅离子配位反应的热力学

L—半胱氨酸(L—Cys)是蛋白质的降解产物之一,在体内除参与蛋白质的合成外,还参与毒物的解毒过程。本文用pH电位滴定法测定L—Cys同Fe~(2+)、Ni~(2+)、Zn~(2+)、Pb~(2+)形成配合物的稳定常数,以温度系数法获得配位反应的焓变,根据所得的热力学参数,对配位反应的推动力和配合物的结构进行讨论,并进一步用红外光谱和电子光谱对Pb~(2+)、Ni~(2+)两体系所得的结果予以证实。
