Stainless steel-doped SrTiO3 thin films were fabricated by laser molecular beam epitaxy (L-MBE). Nonlinear optical property of the thin film was measured by the single beam Z-scan technique at the wavelength of 532 nm. Two two-phonon absorption coefficient and nonlinear refractive index were determined to be 9.37 x 10-7 m/W and 1.55 x 10-6 esu, respectively. The merit figure T was calculated to be 1.8, satisfying condition T < 1 for an optical switch. The thin film has a very promising prospect for the applications in optical device. 相似文献

The experimental results showed that the microstructures of defects on the edges and walls of the single groove with their dimensions smaller than the wavelength of the incident light can produce effects not only on the diffraction of different polarization light but also on the symmetry of both positive and negative diffraction orders. It is possible to cause the narrow peaks with opposite directions appearing at corresponding positions on the two diffraction intensity curves when the polarization directions of the incident light are perpendicular to each other, and to cause the diffraction peaks to be asymmetric when the incident light for the two curves is of the same polarization direction. 相似文献

Our objectives were to develop a new chemical method for the polymerization of pyrrole. CuCl_2 dissolved in C_2H_5OH solvent is primarily used for the initiation polymerization of pyrrole. The polymers with different yield and conductivity were obtained by raring the initial concentration of Cu~(2+). The initial concentrations of Cu~(2+) varied from 1.2 ×10~(-4) mole to 6.48 ×10~(-3) mole Cu~(2+) with 2.16 ×10~(-2) mole pyrrole. An ultraviolet sensitive ultrafast photovoltaic effect is observed in tilted 10° KTaO3 (KT) single crystals. The rise time of the transient photovoltaic pulse is 497.4 ps and the full width at half maximum is 974.6 ps under irradiation of a 266 nm laser pulse with 25 ps duration. An open-circuit photovoltage sensitivity of 328 mV/mJ and a photocurrent sensitivity of 460 mA/mJ are obtained. BaTiO3 thin films in seven thousands of unit-cell layers have been successfully fabricated on SrTiO3 (001) substrates by laser molecular beam epitaxy. The fine streak pattern and the undamping intensity oscillation of reflection high-energy electron diffraction indicate that the BaTiO3 film was layer-by-layer epitaxial growth. The measurements of scanning electron microscopy and atomic force microscopy show that surfaces of the BaTiO3 thin film are atomically smooth. The measurements of x-ray diffraction and transmission electron microscopy, as well as selected-area electron diffraction reveal that the BaTiO3 thin film is a c-oriented epitaxial crystalline structure. 相似文献

Superconducting thick films were grown on single crystals MgO and YSZ by electrophoretic deposition with Y_2BaCuO_5(Y211) addition. YBCO thick films were then accomplished by sintering the precursor films above the peritectic temperature. Single crystals of MgO (3×3×0.5 mm^3) were used as top-seed to control crystal structure of the thick films. As shown by scanning electron microscopy, the morphologies of YBCO/YSZ and YBCO/MgO thick films are spherulitic texture and platelet type. The critical temperature is ~89 K for the YBCO/YSZ thick film; the onset transition temperature is 86.4 K and the transition width is ~3 K for YBCO/MgO thick film. The critical current densities (as determined by Bean model) are, in A/cm^2, 3870 (77 K) for YBCO/YSZ thick films and 2399 (77 K) for YBCO/MgO thick films, which are comparable to the best J_c reported of the thick films prepared by the same method. 相似文献

近年来碳纳米管是一个重要的研究领域,但研究重点主要是其电子、光学和机械等特性。尽管有关单壁碳纳米管的在远红外光谱已有诸多报道,但多壁碳纳米管这方面的研究却较少。试验采用太赫兹时域光谱系统对多壁碳纳米管进行表征,同时也用扫描电镜对其进行形貌检测和微区成分分析,以深入了解其特性。检测结果显示,在0.2~2.0 THz内,样品折射率随着频率的增加而减小,吸收系数却随着频率的增加而增加,并可以拟合斜率为1.92的直线;样品的内径为5~15 nm、外径为15~25 nm,且长度达到了微米级,样品含C量大约为94%,其他为O和Cl杂质元素。根据泰勒扩展式和麦克斯韦方程,得到了样品在该太赫兹频域内吸收的数学模型,该数学模型基本上与检测结果一致。该样品的太赫兹吸收特性主要取决于其化学组成和分子的大小,含C量不同的碳纳米管预示着具有不同的太赫兹图谱和独特的功能。 相似文献
