1. INTRODUCTION Methionine, namely 2-amido-4-thiomethyl butyric acid with a structure of CH3SCH2CH2CHCOOH, is one of the essential amino acids and has two natural enantionmers, D and L-methionine. The mixture of L- and D-isomers can be used as analeptics or nutritive additives to maintain the equilibrium of amino acids of feed [1,2]. Microcalorimetric Adsorption of Alumina Oxide Catalysts for Combination of Ethylbenzene dehydrogenation and carbon Dioxide Shift-reaction

Styrene (STY) is now produced industrially in fairly large quantities by the dehydrogenation of ethylbenzene (EB) using promoted iron oxide catalyst with superheated steam.In this case, small amount of carbon dioxide formed as a by-product was known to inhibit the catalytic activity of commercial catalyst. Recently, there have been some reports which carbon dioxide showed positive effects to promote catalytic activities on the reaction over several catalysts.In this study, we attempted to combine the dehydrogenation of EB to STY with the carbon dioxide shift-reaction. The combine reaction (EB + CO2 → STY + H2O + CO) can be considered as one of the ways of using CO2 resources and can yield simultaneously STY and Carbon oxide.Alumina oxide catalysts such as Al2O3, Na2O/Al2O3 and K2O/Al2O3 were prepared by the usual impregnation method with an aqueous solution of NaNO3 and KNO3, and then calcined at 650℃ for 5 h in a stream of air. The reaction condition is 600℃, flow of CO2 38ml/mon and space velocity (EB) 1.28h-1.     

Baker＇s Yeast Mediated Reduction of Optically Active Diketone

Baker‘s yeast mediated reduction of optically active diketone is described. The two keto groups are efficiently differentiated and the ee value of the recovered material is considerably raised. It affords highly optically active key intermediates efficiently for the synthesis of natural polyhydroxylated agarofuran products.     

The Isoelectric Point and the Points of Zero Charge of Fe-Al-Mg Hydrotalcite-like Compounds

The relation of the isoelectric point (IEP) and the point of zero net charge (PZNC) of the hydrotalcite-like compounds was discussed. It was found that the IEP does not equal to the PZNC and the IEP is higher than the PZNC. The structural positive charges existing in the HTlc,which cause the difference between the IEP and the PZNC. The effects of the structural positive charges of the HTlc on its IEP and PZNC are the same as the specific adsorption of metal cations.     

A Novel Cardiac Glycoside from Parepigynum funingesis

From the dried aerial part ofParepigynumfuningesis Tsiang et P. T. Li (Apocynaceae),a new cardiac glucoside, named parefuningoside (1) had been isolated. Its structure was determined by means of hydrolysis and spectral analysis.     

Continuous dependence on modelling for a complex Ginzburg–Landau equation with complex coefficients

Continuous dependence on a modelling parameter is established for solutions of a problem for a complex Ginzburg–Landau equation. A homogenizing boundary condition is also used to discuss the continuous dependence results. 在多光谱摄影和光电成像技术基础上，本文提出了一种可实时化的多光谱图像融合系统。与多光谱摄影相比，不仅可实现多光谱实时化摄像，而且光谱响应进一步向近红外延伸，并引入图像处理技术。实验表明：这种技术对于增加系统的识别能力具有明显的作用，可进一步构成不同用途的新型多光谱图像融合系统。
