We report on a novel glucose biosensor based on the immobilization of glucose oxidase (GOx) on a Prussian blue modified nanoporous gold surface. The amperometric glucose biosensor fabricated in this study exhibits a fast response and the very low detection limit of 2.5 μM glucose. The sensitivity of the biosensor was found to be very high, 177 μA/mM; the apparent Michaelis–Menten constant is calculated to be 2.1 mM. In addition, the biosensor has good reproducibility and remains stable over 60 days. The anti-interference ability of the biosensor was also assessed, showing little interference from possible interferents such as ascorbic acid (AA), acetaminophen (AP) and uric acid (UA).  相似文献

The fabrication of a highly sensitive amperometric glucose biosensor based on silver nanowires (AgNWs) is presented. The electrochemical behavior of glassy carbon electrode modified by Ag NWs exhibits remarkable catalytic performance towards hydrogen peroxide (H2O2) and glucose detection. The biosensor could detect glucose in the linear range from 0.005 mM to 10 mM, with a detection limit of 50 µM (S/N=3). The glucose biosensor shows high and reproducible sensitivity of 175.49 µA cm?2 mM and good stability. In addition, the biosensor exhibits a good anti‐interference ability and favorable stability over relatively long‐term storage (more than 21 days).  相似文献

An amperometric glucose biosensor based on multi‐walled carbon nanotube (MWCNT) modified glassy carbon electrode has been developed. MWCNT‐modified glassy carbon electrode was obtained by casting the electrode surface with multi‐walled carbon nanotube materials. Glucose oxidase was co‐immobilized on the MWCNT‐modified glassy carbon surface by electrochemical deposition of poly(o‐phenylenediamine) film. Enhanced catalytic electroreduction behavior of oxygen at MWCNT‐modified electrode surface was observed at a potential of ?0.40 V (vs. Ag|AgCl) in neutral medium. The steady‐state amperometric response to glucose was determined at a selected potential of ?0.30 V by means of the reduction of dissolved oxygen consumed by the enzymatic reaction. Common interferents such as ascorbic acid, 4‐acetamidophenol, and uric acid did not interfere in the glucose determination. The linear range for glucose determination extended to 2.0 mM and the detection limit was estimated to be about 0.03 mM.  相似文献

A novel cheap and simple amperometric biosensor, based on the immobilization of glucose oxidase (GOD) into anionic clay; layered double hydroxides (LDHs) [Zn3‐Al‐Cl] is presented. GOD can be entrapped in the LDHs gel via electrostatic interaction. Amperometric detection of glucose with an unmediated sensor at 0.6 V (vs. SCE) results in a rapid response (5 s), a wide linear range of 0.001–12 mM, as well as good operational stability. The low detection limit was 0.1 μM at 3σ. The apparent Michaelis‐Menten constant (K is 4.4 mM. The general interferences that coexisted in blood serum do not affect glucose determination, except for uric acid. In addition, optimization of the biosensor construction and the effects of the applied potential on the amperometric response of the sensor were investigated and discussed herein.  相似文献

PtRu nanoparticles were supported on multiwall carbon nanotubes (MWNTs), which were further fabricated as an electrode for nonenzymatic glucose sensing. Transmission electron microscope and X‐ray diffraction patterns were used for characterization of the PtRu nanoparticles on MWNTs. Cyclic voltammetry and chronopotentiometry were applied to investigate the performance of the PtRu/MWNTs nanocomposite electrode for nonenzymatic oxidation of glucose. The PtRu/MWNTs electrode shows high electrocatalytic activity towards the oxidation of glucose in 0.1 M NaOH solution and thus can be used to selectively detect glucose. Under the optimal potential (+0.55 V vs. Ag/AgCl), the biosensor effectively performs a selective electrochemical analysis of glucose in the presence of common interferents, such as ascorbic acid (AA), dopamine (DP) and uric acid (UA). Wide linear calibration ranging from 1 mM to 15 mM, high sensitivity of 28.26 μA cm?2 mM?1, low detection limit of 2.5×10?5 M, and fast response time of 10 s were achieved for the detection of glucose at the PtRu/MWNTs electrode.  相似文献

A novel amperometric glucose biosensor is presented in this article, which is based on the adsorption of glucose oxidase on gold‐platinum nanoparticle (AuPt NP)‐multiwalled carbon nanotube (MWNT) – ionic liquid (i.e., 1‐octyl‐3‐methylimidazolium hexafluorophosphate, [OMIM]PF6) composite. The gold‐platinum nanoparticles is prepared through direct electrodeposition. Owing to the synergistic action of AuPt nanoparticle, MWNT and [OMIM]PF6, the biosensor shows good response to glucose, with wide linear range (0.01 to 9.49 mM), short response time (3 s), and high sensitivity (3.47 μA mM−1). With the biosensor the determination of glucose in human serum is performed.  相似文献

The amperometric biosensing of aromatic amines using a composite glucose oxidase (GOD)‐peroxidase (HRP) biosensor in reversed micelles is reported. Rigid composite pellets of graphite and Teflon, in which GOD and HRP were coimmobilized by simple physical inclusion, were employed for the biosensor design. This design allows the in situ generation of the H2O2 needed for the enzyme reaction with the aromatic amines, thus preventing the negative effect that the presence of a high H2O2 concentration in solution has on HRP activity. The H2O2 in situ generation is performed by oxidation of glucose catalyzed by GOD. The effect of the composition of the reversed micelles, i.e., the nature of the organic solvent used as the continuous phase, the nature and concentration of the surfactant used as emulsifying agent, the aqueous 0.05 mol L?1 phosphate buffer percentage used as the dispersed phase, and the glucose concentration in the aqueous phase, on the biosensor response was evaluated. Reversed micelles formed with ethyl acetate, a 5% of phosphate buffer (pH 7.0) containing 3.0×10?3 mol L?1 glucose, and 0.1 mol L?1 AOT (sodium dioctylsulfosuccinate), were selected as working medium. Well‐defined and reproducible amperometric signals at 0.00 V were obtained for p‐phenylenediamine, 2‐aminophenol, o‐phenylenediamine, m‐phenylenediamine, 1‐naphthylamine, o‐toluidine and aniline. The useful lifetime of one single biosensor was of 60 days. The trend in sensitivity observed for the aromatic amines is discussed considering the effect of their structure on the stabilization of the radicals formed in the enzyme reaction which are electrochemically reduced. The behavior of the composite bienzyme electrode was also evaluated in a FI (flow injection) system using reversed micelles as the carrier. The suitability of the composite bienzyme electrode for the analysis of real samples was demonstrated by determining aniline in spiked carrots.  相似文献

Glucose oxidase showed direct electrochemical transfer at glassy carbon electrodes immobilized with carbon nanotube‐gold colloid (CNT‐Au) composites with poly(diallydimethylammonium chloride) (PDDA) coatings. The modified electrode (GC/CNT/Au/PDDA‐GOD) was employed for the amperometric determination of glucose. Under optimal conditions, the biosensor displayed linear response to glucose from 0.5 to 5 mM with a sensitivity of 2.50 mA M?1 at an applied potential of ?0.3 V (vs. Ag|AgCl reference).  相似文献

Nanosized Prussian blue (PB) particles were synthesized with a chemical reduction method and then the PB nanoparticles were assembled on the surface of multiwall carbon nanotubes modified glassy carbon electrode (PB/MWNTs/GCE). The results showed that the PB/MWNTs nanocomposite exhibits a remarkably improved catalytic activity towards the reduction of hydrogen peroxide. Glucose oxidase (GOD) was immobilized on the PB/MWNTs platform by an electrochemically polymerized o‐phenylenediamine (OPD) film to construct an amperometric glucose biosensor. The biosensor exhibited a wide linear response up to 8 mM with a low detection limit of 12.7 μM (S/N=3). The Michaelis–Menten constant Km and the maximum current imax of the biosensor were 18.0 mM and 4.68 μA, respectively. The selectivity and stability of the biosensor were also investigated.  相似文献

A mediator-free glucose biosensor, termed a “third-generation biosensor,” was fabricated by immobilizing glucose oxidase (GOD) directly onto an oxidized boron-doped diamond (BDD) electrode. The surface of the oxidized BDD electrode possesses carboxyl groups (as shown by Raman spectra) which covalently cross-link with GOD through glutaraldehyde. Glucose was determined in the absence of a mediator used to transfer electrons between the electrode and enzyme. O2 has no effect on the electron transfer. The effects of experimental variables (applied potential, pH and cross-link time) were investigated in order to optimize the analytical performance of the amperometric detection method. The resulting biosensor exhibited fast amperometric response (less than 5 s) to glucose. The biosensor provided a linear response to glucose over the range 6.67×10−5 to 2×10−3 mol/L, with a detection limit of 2.31×10−5 mol/L. The lifetime, reproducibility and measurement repeatability were evaluated and satisfactory results were obtained.  相似文献

The highly porous Mn2O3‐Ag nanofibers were fabricated by a facile two‐step procedure (electrospinning and calcination). The structure and composition of the Mn2O3‐Ag nanofibers were characterized by SEM, TEM, XRD, EDX and SAED. The as‐prepared Mn2O3‐Ag nanofibers were then employed as the immobilization matrix for glucose oxidase (GOD) to construct an amperometric glucose biosensor. The biosensor shows fast response to glucose, high sensitivity (40.60 µA mM?1 cm?2), low detection limit (1.73 µM at S/N=3), low Km,app value and excellent selectivity. These results indicate that the novel Mn2O3‐Ag nanfibers‐GOD composite has great potential application in oxygen‐reduction based glucose biosensing.  相似文献

A novel glucose biosensor was developed based on the immobilization of glucose oxidase (GOx) on reduced graphene oxide incorporated with electrochemically deposited platinum and palladium nanoparticles (PtPdNPs). Reduced graphene oxide (RGO) was more hybridized by chemical and heat treatment. Bimetallic nanoparticles were deposited electrochemically on the RGO surface for potential application of the Pd? Pt alloy in biosensor preparation. The as‐prepared hybrid electrode exhibited high electrocatalytic activities toward H2O2, with a wide linear response range from 0.5 to 8 mM (R2=0.997) and high sensitivity of 814×10?6 A/mMcm2. Furthermore, glucose oxidase with active material was integrated by a simple casting method on the RGO/PdPtNPs surface. The as‐prepared biosensor showed good amperometric response to glucose in the linear range from 2 mM to 12 mM, with a sensitivity of 24×10?6 A/mMcm2, a low detection limit of 0.001 mM, and a short response time (5 s). Moreover, the effect of interference materials, reproducibility and the stability of the sensor were also investigated.  相似文献

An efficient amperometric biosensor based on well‐crystallized leaf‐like CuO nanoparticles for detecting glucose has been proposed. The leaf‐like CuO nanoparticles, synthesized by a simple one‐step hydrothermal method, were characterized by X‐ray diffraction (XRD), scanning electron microscope (SEM) and transmission electron microscopy (TEM) for the morphology study. Under the optimal condition, the electrochemical behaviour of the leaf‐like CuO nanoparticles modified electrode for detection of glucose exhibited high sensitivity of 246 µA/mM/cm2, short response time (within 5 s), linear dynamic range from 1.0 to 170 µM (R2=0.9995), and low limit of detection (LOD) (S/N=3) of 0.91 µM. The high sensitivity, good reproducibility, stability, and fast amperometric sensing towards oxidation of glucose, make this biosensor promising for future application.  相似文献

Ni(OH)2 nanoflowers were synthesized by a simple and energy‐efficient wet chemistry method. The product was characterized by scanning electron microscopy (SEM) and X‐ray powder diffraction (XRD). Then Ni(OH)2 nanoflowers attached multi‐walled carbon nanotubes (MWCNTs) modified glassy carbon electrodes (GCE) were proposed (MWCNTs/Ni(OH)2/GCE) to use as electrochemical sensor to detect hydrogen peroxide. The results showed that the synergistic effect was obtained on the MWCNTs/Ni(OH)2/GCE whose sensitivity was better than that of Ni(OH)2/GCE. The linear range is from 0.2 to 22 mmol/L, the detection limit is 0.066 mmol/L, and the response time is <5 s. Satisfyingly, the MWCNTs/Ni(OH)2/GCE was not only successfully employed to eliminate the interferences from uric acid (UA), acid ascorbic (AA), dopamine (DA), glucose (GO) but also NO2? during the detection. The MWCNTs/Ni(OH)2/GCE allows highly sensitive, excellently selective and fast amperometric sensing of hydrogen peroxide and thus is promising for the future development of hydrogen peroxide sensors.  相似文献

Two amperometric biosensors based on glassy carbon electrodes (GC) modified with Mg/Al layered double hydroxides (LDHs) containing ferrocene‐carboxylate (Fc? CO2H) or ferrocene‐sulfonate (Fc? SO3H), as interlayer anions, and glucose oxidase (GOx) are presented. Amperometric detection of glucose involves the electrochemical oxidation of H2O2 mediated by the ferrocene derivative. Optimization of the biosensors construction and of the operative conditions was investigated and is discussed herein. The performances of the two biosensors were evaluated by chronoamperometry, working at low anodic potentials (+0.400 V for Fc? CO2H and +0.500 V for Fc? SO3H vs. SCE). The linearity extended up to 1.5 mM and 10.0 mM in batch and in flow conditions, respectively, for both biosensors, whereas the sensitivity was higher for the one based on Fc? CO2H (4.8±0.3 versus 2.0±0.3 μA mM?1cm?2 in batch mode, and 63.9±0.4 versus 25.8±0.4 μA mM?1cm?2 in flow mode). The biosensors display rapid response time (less than 20 s), good reproducibility, as well as good operational stability. Glucose can be accurately determined in the presence of the most common interferences that coexist in blood serum if an oxidative membrane containing nanoparticles of MnO2 is applied on the biosensors' surface.  相似文献

A novel complex material was fabricated by three steps. In the first step, gold nanoparticle (Aunano) was prepared with the method of chemistry and dialysis. In the second step, 4‐aminothiophenol (AT) was encapsulated in the cavity of β‐cyclodextrin and formed inclusion complex, cyclodextrin/4‐aminothiophenol (CD/AT). And then inclusion complex was adsorbed to the surface of Aunano based on the bond of Au‐S interaction. In the last step, a complex material, cyclodextrin/poly(4‐aminothiophenol)‐Au nanoparticles (CD/PAT‐Aunano) was obtained by the polymerizing in the acid solution initiated by chlorauric acid. The CD/PAT‐Aunano has spherical nanostructure with the average diameter of 55 nm. Glucose oxidase (GOx) was anchored with this complex material and direct electrochemistry of GOx was achieved. A couple of stable and well‐defined redox peaks were observed with the formal potential (E0′) of ‐0.488 V (vs. SCE) in a pH 6.98 buffer solution. The GOx modified electrode also exhibited an excellent electrocatalytic activity to the reduction of glucose, a linearity range for determination of glucose is from 0.25 mM to 16.0 mM with a detection limit of 0.09 mM (S/N = 3). This protocol had potential application to fabricate the third‐generation biosensor.

Dopamine (DA) is a significant neurotransmitter in the central nervous system, coexisting with uric acid (UA) and ascorbic acid (AA). UA and AA are easily oxidizable compounds having potentials close to that of DA for electrochemical analysis, resulting in overlapping voltammetric response. In this work, a novel molecularly imprinted (MI) electrochemical sensor was proposed for selective determination of DA (in the presence of up to 80‐fold excess of UA and AA), relying on gold nanoparticles (Aunano)‐decorated glassy carbon (GC) electrode coated with poly(carbazole (Cz)‐co‐aniline (ANI)) copolymer film incorporating DA as template (DA imprinted‐GC/P(Cz‐co‐ANI)‐Aunano electrode, DA‐MIP‐Aunano electrode). The DA recognizing sensor electrode showed great electroactivity for analyte oxidation in 0.2 mol L?1 pH 7 phosphate buffer. Square wave voltammetry (SWV) was performed within 10?4–10?5 mol L?1 of DA, of which the oxidation peak potential was observed at 0.16 V. The limit of detection (LOD) and limit of quantification (LOQ) were 2.0×10?6 and 6.7×10?6 mol L?1, respectively. Binary and ternary synthetic mixtures of DA‐UA, DA‐AA and DA‐UA‐AA yielded excellent recoveries for DA. Additionally, DA was quantitatively recovered from a real sample of bovine serum spiked with DA, and determined in concentrated dopamine injection solution. The developed SWV method was statistically validated against a literature potentiodynamic method using a caffeic acid modified‐GC electrode.  相似文献

An amperometric method for the determination of glucose using a screen printed carbon electrode is reported. The electrode material was bulk modified with rhodium dioxide and the enzyme glucose oxidase immobilized in a Nafion‐film on the electrode surface and investigated for its ability to serve as a detector of glucose in flow injection analysis. The sensor exhibited a linear increase of the amperometric signal with the concentration of glucose in the range of 1–250 mg L?1 with a detection limit (evaluated as 3σ) of 0.2 mg L?1 under optimized flow rate of 0.4 mL min?1 in 0.1 M phosphate buffer (pH 7.5) carrier. At the potential applied (?0.2 V vs. Ag/AgCl), interferences from redox species present in the sample matrix were negligible. The biosensor reported here retained its activity for more than 40 injections or 4 months of storage at 6 °C. The RSD was determined as 1.8% for a glucose concentration of 25 mg L?1 (n=5) with a typical response time of about 28 s.  相似文献

In this research a novel osmium complex was used as electrocatalyst for electroreduction of oxygen and H2O2 in physiological pH solutions. Electroless deposition at a short period of time (60 s), was used for strong and irreversible adsorption of 1,4,8,12‐tetraazacyclotetradecane osmium(III) chloride (Os(III)LCl2) ClO4 onto single‐walled carbon nanotubes (SWCNTs) modified GC electrode. The modified electrode shows a pair of well defined and reversible redox couple, Os(IV)/Os(III) at wide pH range (1–8). The glucose biosensor was fabricated by covering a thin film of glucose oxidase onto CNTs/Os‐complex modified electrode. The biosensor can be used successfully for selective detection of glucose based on the decreasing of cathodic peak current of oxygen. The fabricated biosensor shows high sensitivity, 826.3 nA μM?1cm?2, low detection limit, 56 nM, fast response time <3 s and wide calibration range 1.0 μM–1.0 mM. The biosensor has been successfully applied to determination of glucose in human plasma. Because of relative low applied potential, the interference from electroactive existing species was minimized, which improved the selectivity of the biosensor. The apparent Michaelis‐Menten constant of GOx on the nanocomposite, 0.91 mM, exhibits excellent bioelectrocatalytic activity of immobilized enzyme toward glucose oxidation. Excellent electrochemical reversibility, high stability, technically simple and possibility of preparation at short period of time are of great advantages of this glucose biosensor.  相似文献
