Perovskite solar cells have triggered a rapid development of new photovoltaic devices because of high energy conversion efficiencies and their all‐solid‐state structures. To this end, they are particularly useful for various wearable and portable electronic devices. Perovskite solar cells with a flexible fiber structure were now prepared for the first time by continuously winding an aligned multiwalled carbon nanotube sheet electrode onto a fiber electrode; photoactive perovskite materials were incorporated in between them through a solution process. The fiber‐shaped perovskite solar cell exhibits an energy conversion efficiency of 3.3 %, which remained stable on bending. The perovskite solar cell fibers may be woven into electronic textiles for large‐scale application by well‐developed textile technologies.  相似文献

An all‐solid‐state, lightweight, flexible, and wearable polymer solar cell (PSC) textile with reasonable photovoltaic performance has been developed. A metal textile electrode made from micrometer‐sized metal wires is used as the cathode, and the surfaces of the metal wires are dip‐coated with the photoactive layers. Two ultrathin, transparent, and aligned carbon nanotube sheets that exhibit remarkable electronic and mechanical properties were coated onto the modified metal textile at both sides as the anode to produce the desired PSC textile. Because of the designed sandwich structure, the PSC textile displays the same energy conversion efficiencies regardless of which side it is irradiated from. As expected, the PSC textiles are highly flexible, and their energy conversion efficiencies varied by less than 3 % after bending for more than 200 cycles. The PSC textile shows an areal density (5.9 mg cm?2) that is lower than that of flexible film‐based PSCs (31.3 mg cm?2).  相似文献

Owing to the high theoretical energy density of metal–air batteries, the aluminum–air battery has been proposed as a promising long‐term power supply for electronics. However, the available energy density from the aluminum–air battery is far from that anticipated and is limited by current electrode materials. Herein we described the creation of a new family of all‐solid‐state fiber‐shaped aluminum–air batteries with a specific capacity of 935 mAh g−1 and an energy density of 1168 Wh kg−1. The synthesis of an electrode composed of cross‐stacked aligned carbon‐nanotube/silver‐nanoparticle sheets contributes to the remarkable electrochemical performance. The fiber shape also provides the aluminum–air batteries with unique advantages; for example, they are flexible and stretchable and can be woven into a variety of textiles for large‐scale applications.  相似文献

A strategy is presented to realize textile‐based photovoltaic cells motivated by developments of textile‐based electronics and their demand of grid‐independent energy supply. Beyond this, a development of textile‐based photovoltaics also represents an attractive pathway towards very flexible and rugged solar cells. The need for compatibility of an appropriate photovoltaic technology with the physical limitations of textiles is stressed. Electrodeposition from aqueous solutions is presented as a successful strategy to realize semiconductor structures on textiles and detailed control and influence of the deposition conditions is discussed. The role of microelectrode effects, options of forced convection, deposition under pulsed potential, alternative deposition baths and different substrate metals are emphasized. An active electrode material is presented which reaches a conversion efficiency close to the 1 % limit under AM 1.5 illumination conditions and thereby opens the door for a further optimization towards devices of technical interest.  相似文献

To satisfy the rapid development of portable and wearable electronics, it is highly desired to make batteries with both high energy densities and flexibility. Although some progress has been made in recent decades, the available batteries share critical problems of poor energy storage capacity and low flexibility. Herein, we have developed a silicon–oxygen battery fiber with high energy density and ultra‐high flexibility by designing a coaxial architecture with a lithiated silicon/carbon nanotube hybrid fiber as inner anode, a polymer gel as middle electrolyte and a bare carbon nanotube sheet as outer cathode. The fiber showed a high energy density of 512 Wh kg−1 and could effectively work after bending for 20 000 cycles. These battery fibers have been further woven into flexible textiles for a large‐scale application.  相似文献

Poly(3,4‐ethylenedioxythiophene) (PEDOT) counter electrode is prepared with in situ polymerization of 3,4‐ethylenedioxythiophene on a fluorine‐doped tin oxide over‐layer glass at room temperature. The cyclic voltammetry, electrochemical impedance spectroscopy, and Tafel polarization are measured to evaluate the catalytic activity of PEDOT counter electrode for I3?/I? redox couple. Comparing the data with that of traditional thermal decomposed Pt counter electrode, it is found that PEDOT has higher catalytic activity than that of Pt counterpart. Power conversion efficiency of the dye‐sensitized solar cell (DSC) with PEDOT counter electrode can attain to 7.713%, a little higher than that of the cell with Pt counter electrode (7.300%). Taking the advantage of high transparency of PEDOT counter electrode, an Ag mirror is put on the back side of PEDOT counter electrode of the DSC to reflect light back for power conversion. Power conversion efficiency of the DSC with this special structure can be further enhanced to 8.359%, which mainly stems from the improved short‐circuit current density by the increased irradiated light intensity. Other forms of energy are generally converted to electric energy and then transported to electrochemical devices, where the energy is stored, by external electric wires. To further improve total energy conversion and storage efficiency, interest in simultaneously realize the energy conversion and storage in a single device has increased. This Concept describes recent progress in developing such novel integrated energy devices. Both planar and wire architectures are carefully illustrated with an emphasis on the “energy wire” which has been the focus of past developments due to its unique and promising applications, such as being woven into clothes or other complex structures by conventional textile technology. The current challenges and future directions of the integrated devices, particularly in the wire architecture, are summarized.  相似文献

The fabrication of flexible, stretchable and rechargeable devices with a high energy density is critical for next‐generation electronics. Herein, fiber‐shaped Zn–air batteries, are realized for the first time by designing aligned, cross‐stacked and porous carbon nanotube sheets simultaneously that behave as a gas diffusion layer, a catalyst layer, and a current collector. The combined remarkable electronic and mechanical properties of the aligned carbon nanotube sheets endow good electrochemical properties. They display excellent discharge and charge performances at a high current density of 2 A g−1. They are also flexible and stretchable, which is particularly promising to power portable and wearable electronic devices.  相似文献

A wire‐shaped energy device that can perform photoelectric conversion and electrochemical storage was developed through a simple but effective twisting process. The energy wire exhibited a high energy conversion efficiency of 6.58 % and specific capacitance of 85.03 μF cm?1 or 2.13 mF cm?2, and the two functions were alternately realized without sacrificing either performance.  相似文献

Proteinaceous microspheres have a wide range of biomedical applications, including their use as drug delivery systems. On the other hand, bioactive and antimicrobial textiles are promising substrates for medical care, in particular, as wound‐dressings. This work relates the development of a new process for the functionalization of textiles through the simultaneous formation and linkage of protein‐based microspheres onto textile fibers by sonochemical techniques. The microspheres developed by this process possess antimicrobial properties by themselves, but other may be incorporated by the encapsulation of various pharmaceutical formulations. This new type of microspheres and particularly their fixation onto textile materials encourage the development of textiles that can be used as delivery systems in a simple, fast, and non‐toxic process. Here it is reported the production of microspheres with a combination of bovine serum albumin (BSA), L ‐Cysteine (L ‐Cys), and n‐dodecane, using the ultrasound technology. The size distribution and morphology of the microspheres was determined as a function of several parameters such as irradiation time and BSA and L ‐Cys concentrations. The produced microspheres were analyzed using a laser light scattering size analyzer, an optical microscope and a scanning electron microscope. The new coating of BSA + L ‐Cys microspheres revealed a high stability and excellent antibacterial properties being a promising alternative to design textile‐based bioactive delivery systems with potential application in the development of textile‐based wound‐dressings. The lithium–air battery has been proposed as the next‐generation energy‐storage device with a much higher energy density compared with the conventional lithium‐ion battery. However, lithium–air batteries currently suffer enormous problems including parasitic reactions, low recyclability in air, degradation, and leakage of liquid electrolyte. Besides, they are designed into a rigid bulk structure that cannot meet the flexible requirement in the modern electronics. Herein, for the first time, a new family of fiber‐shaped lithium–air batteries with high electrochemical performances and flexibility has been developed. The battery exhibited a discharge capacity of 12 470 mAh g?1 and could stably work for 100 cycles in air; its electrochemical performances were well maintained under bending and after bending. It was also wearable and formed flexible power textiles for various electronic devices.  相似文献

In the present paper, different self‐reinforced polypropylene (PP) composites based on low‐cost commercial woven (w) and non‐woven (nw) fabrics were obtained. Hot compaction (HC) and film stacking (FS) followed by compression molding were used to prepared the composites. The fracture and failure behavior of the different materials was determined under different testing conditions through quasi‐static uniaxial tensile tests, Izod impact experiments and by means of fracture mechanics tests on mode I double‐edge deeply notched tensile specimens. In the case of the composite obtained by film stacking + compression molding (rPP/nw/w‐FS) and the hot‐compacted composite (nw/w‐HC) containing simultaneously woven and non‐woven fabrics, the acoustic emission technique was applied in situ in the tensile tests to determine their consolidation quality and to identify the failure mechanisms responsible for their fracture behavior. It was observed that both composites exhibited relatively similar high consolidation quality. However, the hot‐compacted composite presented a more uniform distribution of failure mechanisms (debonding and fiber fracture) than the film‐stacked composite. The hot‐compacted composite containing both types of reinforcements exhibited the best combination of mechanical (tensile, impact, and fracture) properties. Therefore, this composite appeared as the most promising for structural applications among the different composites investigated.  相似文献

This article provides a comprehensive understanding of development of textiles functionalized with silver nanoparticles (AgNPs). There are three established methods to fabricate textiles functionalized with AgNPs, namely, solution‐immersion, layer‐by‐layer deposition, and sonochemical. In addition, several textile types such as cotton, wool, polyester, silk, cotton/polyester blend, polyamide, and regenerated cellulose have been used for the fabrication. The AgNP deposition mechanism on textiles is mainly due to electrostatic interaction between AgNPs and textile constituents. It was exhibited that the deposition of AgNPs on textiles can transform their textiles colors. In addition, it was demonstrated that the deposition of AgNPs on textiles is not permanent, particularly against washing treatment. Textiles modified with AgNPs have several promising applications such as antibacterial, antifungal, catalyst, electronic devices, water treatment, sun protection, air treatment, and surface‐enhanced Raman scattering, which are comprehensively discussed in this article. Future challenges in fabricating textiles functionalized with AgNPs remain on how this can be carried out to improve long‐term stabilization of AgNPs on textiles to achieve their permanent deposition by employing greener approaches.  相似文献

Cellular‐compatible scaffolds were prepared using a three‐dimensional micro‐porous chitosan (CS) non‐woven fabric immobilized by glutaraldehyde (GA), followed by the immobilization of chondroitin‐6‐sulfate (ChS). To characterize the immobilizing process, tensile analysis, and scanning electron microscopy (SEM) were performed. The cell seeding efficiency and proliferation test were evaluated using L929 fibroblasts. The chitosan scaffolds showed high water vapor transmission rate and antibacterial activity. In addition, ChS‐immobilized scaffolds exhibited higher cell seeding efficiency and fibroblasts proliferation. These results demonstrated that the CS non‐woven fabrics grafted with GA and immobilized with ChS could be an appropriate candidate for wound healing and artificial scaffolds in the clinical applications. Tungsten dioxide (WO(2)) nanorods were synthesized, which showed excellent catalytic activity for the reduction of triiodide to iodide. The dye-sensitized solar cell (DSC) using WO(2) as a counter electrode (CE) reached a high energy conversion efficiency of 7.25%, which can match the performance of the DSC based on a Pt CE.  相似文献

Flexible batteries are essential for wearable electronic devices. To meet practical applications, they need to be mechanically robust and stable. However, strong or multiple bending may sever the interfacial contact between electrode and electrolyte, causing capacity fading or even battery failure. Herein we present a new cooling‐recovery concept for flexible batteries, which involves a temperature‐sensitive sol–gel transition behavior of the thermoreversible polymer hydrogel electrolyte. Once a battery has suffered from strong mechanical stresses, a simple cooling process can refresh the electrode–electrolyte interface. The energy‐storage capability can be recovered with a healing efficiency higher than 98 %. It is believed that this study not only offers new valuable insights, but also opens up new perspectives to develop functional wearable devices.  相似文献

The effects of the thickness and morphology of a Pt film coated on a counter electrode on the performance of a dye-sensitized solar cell (DSC) were investigated. Deposition of a Pt film ranging in thickness from 2 to 415 nm gradually decreases the sheet resistance of the counter electrode. No significant difference in the charge-transfer resistance at the electrolyte|counter electrode interface was observed for a Pt film thickness ranging from 25 to 415 nm. A high energy conversion efficiency of approximately 5% can be obtained for DSCs based on a counter electrode with a very thin Pt film of 2 nm, as well as with a 415-nm thick Pt film. These results are important for reducing production costs by reducing the required amount of expensive platinum.  相似文献
