All invariant and partially invariant solutions of the Green-Naghdi equations are obtained that describe the second approximation of shallow water theory. It is proved that all nontrivial invariant solutions belong to one of the following types: Galilean-invariant, stationary, and self-similar solutions. The Galilean-invariant solutions are described by the solutions of the second Painleve equation, the stationary solutions by elliptic functions, and the self-similar solutions by the solutions of the system of ordinary differential equations of the fourth order. Ansatz method and the theory of dynamical systems are used to study the traveling wave solutions for the generalized Drinfeld-Sokolov equations. Under two groups of the parametric conditions, more solitary wave solutions, kink and anti-kink wave solutions and periodic wave solutions are obtained. Exact explicit parametric representations of these travelling wave solutions are given.  相似文献

The Stefan problem of a semi-infinite body with arbitrarily prescribed initial and boundary conditions is studied. One of the objectives of the paper is to investigate the analyticity of the solutions. For this purpose, the prescribed initial and boundary conditions are considered to be series of fractional powers of their arguments. It is found that the exact solutions of the problem for various forms of the initial and boundary conditions can be established in series of parabolic cylinder functions and time t. Existence and convergence of the series solutions are studied and proved. The present solutions include the known exact solutions as special cases. On the basis of the present solutions, the question of the analyticity of solutions of the Stefan problem, raised by Rubinstein in his book, can be answered. Conditions for analyticity of the solutions with various initial and boundary conditions are fully discussed.  相似文献

The steady-state boundary-layer flows over a permeable stretching sheet are investigated by an analytic method for strongly non-linear problems, namely the homotopy analysis method (HAM). Two branches of solutions are obtained. One of them agrees well with the known numerical solutions. The other is new and has never been reported in general cases. The entrainment velocity of the new branch of solutions is always smaller than that of the known ones. For permeable stretching sheet with sufficiently large suction of mass flux, the difference between the shear stresses and velocity profiles of two branches of solutions is obvious: the shear stress of the new branch of solutions is considerably larger than that of the known ones. However, for impermeable sheet and permeable sheet with injection or small suction of mass flux, the shear stress and the velocity profile of two branches of solutions are rather close: in some cases the difference is so small that the new branch of solutions might be neglected even by numerical techniques. This reveals the reason why the new branch of solutions has not been reported. This work also illustrates that, for some non-linear problems having multiple solutions, analytic techniques are sometimes more effective than numerical methods.  相似文献

Classification of Codimension-One Riemann Solutions   总被引:1,自引:1,他引:0  
We investigate solutions of Riemann problems for systems of two conservation laws in one spatial dimension. Our approach is to organize Riemann solutions into strata of successively higher codimension. The codimension-zero stratum consists of Riemann solutions that are structurally stable: the number and types of waves in a solution are preserved under small perturbations of the flux function and initial data. Codimension-one Riemann solutions, which constitute most of the boundary of the codimension-zero stratum, violate structural stability in a minimal way. At the codimension-one stratum, either the qualitative structure of Riemann solutions changes or solutions fail to be parameterized smoothly by the flux function and the initial data. In this paper, we give an overview of the phenomena associated with codimension-one Riemann solutions. We list the different kinds of codimension-one solutions, and we classify them according to their geometric properties, their roles in solving Riemann problems, and their relationships to wave curves.  相似文献

This paper presents new, approximate analytical solutions to large-amplitude oscillations of a general, inclusive of odd and non-odd non-linearity, conservative single-degree-of-freedom system. Based on the original general non-linear oscillating system, two new systems with odd non-linearity are to be addressed. Building on the approximate analytical solutions of odd non-linear systems developed by the authors earlier, we construct the new approximate analytical solutions to the original general non-linear system by combinatory piecing of the approximate solutions corresponding to, respectively, the two new systems introduced. These approximate solutions are valid for small as well as large amplitudes of oscillation for which the perturbation method either provides inaccurate solutions or is inapplicable. Two examples with excellent approximate analytical solutions are presented to illustrate the great accuracy and simplicity of the new formulation.  相似文献

We prove that level surfaces of solutions to the Cahn-Hilliard equation tend to solutions of the Hele-Shaw problem under the assumption that classical solutions of the latter exist. The method is based on a new matched asymptotic expansion for solutions, a spectral analysis for linearizd operators, and an estimate for the difference between the true solutions and certain approximate ones.  相似文献

We study three-dimensional Westervelt model of nonlinear hydroacoustics with dissipation. We received all its invariant submodels. With the help of invariant solutions, we explored some wave processes, specifying their physical meaning. The boundary value problems describing these processes are reduced to the nonlinear integro-differential equations. We established the existence and uniqueness of the solutions of these boundary value problems under some additional conditions. Also we considered the invariant solutions of rank 2 and 3. Mechanical relevance of the obtained solutions is as follows: (1) these solutions describe nonlinear and diffraction effects in ultrasonic fields of a special kind, (2) these solutions can be used as a test solutions in the numerical calculations performed in studies of ultrasonic fields generated by powerful emitters.  相似文献

The some of the well-known nonlinear time fractional parabolic partial differential equations is studied in this paper. The fractional complex transform and the first integral method are employed to construct one-soliton solutions of these equations. The power of this manageable method is confirmed. A class of differentially invariant solutions of a problem with the pressure independent of the radial coordinate is considered for a submodel of steady axisymmetric flows of a polytropic gas. The overdetermined system turns out to be compatible and is integrated. All solutions defining transonic and supersonic flows with a limiting surface are found. This paper presents two exact explicit solutions for the three dimensional dual-phase lag (DLP) heat conduction equation, during the derivation of which the method of trial and error and the authors' previous experiences are utilized. To the authors' knowledge, most solutions of 2D or 3D DPL models available in the literature are obtained by numerical methods, and there are few exact solutions up to now. The exact solutions in this paper can be used as benchmarks to validate numerical solutions and to develop numerical schemes, grid generation methods and so forth. In addition, they are of theoretical significance since they correspond to physically possible situations. The main goal of this paper is to obtain some possible exact explicit solutions of the dual-phase lag heat conduction equation as the benchmark solutions for computational heat transfer, rather than specific solutions for some given initial and boundary conditions. Therefore, the initial and boundary conditions are indeterminate before derivation and can be deduced from the solutions afterwards. Actually, all solutions given in this paper can be easily proven by substituting them into the governing equation.  相似文献

Steady quasiperiodic solutions of the Navier-Stokes equations in an infinite two-dimensional layer with quasiperiodic boundaries are obtained on the Reynolds number range 0 < Re* < 200. The calculations are performed using a spectral-difference method based on the representation of the quasiperiodic solutions in the form of convergent double Fourier series. The properties of these solutions and the distinctive features of their spectra are studied and their fundamental differences from periodic solutions are shown. The possibility of applying the quasiperiodic solutions for modeling flows in fractal layers is discussed.  相似文献

The symmetries of a system of differential equations allowed the transformation of its solutions to a solution of this system. New analytical exact solutions of a system of two-dimensional ideal plasticity equations were constructed from two well-known solutions, that for a circular cavity stressed by normal pressure, and Prandtl's solution for a block compressed between perfectly rough plates, for the case where the thickness of the block was rather small. A system of the Navier-Stokes equations of two-dimensional motion of a viscous heat-conducting perfect gas with a polytropic equation of state is considered. Regular, partially invariant solutions of rank 1 and defect 1 are studied. A sufficient condition of their reducibility to invariant solutions of rank 1 is proved. All solutions of this class with a linear dependence of the velocity-vector components on spatial coordinates are examined. The unsteady plane-parallel motion of a incompressible viscoelastic Maxwell medium with constant relaxation time is considered. The equations of motion of the medium and the rheological relation admit an extended Galilean group. The class of solutions of this system which are partially invariant with respect to the subgroup of the indicated group generated by translation and Galilean translation along one of the coordinate axes is studied. The system does not have invariant solutions, and the set of partially invariant solutions is very narrow. A method for extending the set of exact solutions is proposed which allows finding solutions with a nontrivial dependence of the stress tensor elements on spatial coordinates. By using the theory of bifurcations of planar dynamic systems to the coupled Jaulent-Miodek equations,the existence of smooth solitary travelling wave solutions and uncountably infinite many smooth periodic travelling wave solutions is studied and the bifurcation parametric sets are shown.Under the given parametric conditions,all possible representations of explicit exact solitary wave solutions and periodic wave solutions are obtained.  相似文献

In supercritical regime, the coupled model equations for the axially moving beam with simple support boundary conditions are considered. The critical speed is determined by linear bifurcation analysis, which is in agreement with the results in the literature. For the corresponding static equilibrium state, the second-order asymptotic nontrivial solutions are obtained through the multiple scales method. Meantime, the numerical solutions are also obtained based on the finite difference method. Comparisons among the analytical solutions, numerical solutions and solutions of integro-partial-differential equation of transverse which is deduced from coupled model equations are made. We find that the second-order asymptotic analytical solutions can well capture the nontrivial equilibrium state regardless of the amplitude of transverse displacement. However, the integro-partial-differential equation is only valid for the weak small-amplitude vibration axially moving slender beams.  相似文献

正交异性体的反平面运动方程有几种表达方式,而以自相似解表达方式尤为简单。由于在弹性动力学问题的计算中可以获得解析解,使得考虑的问题相应地简化,并具有一定的普遍性,因此对自相似形式的解的推导具有重要的意义。本文针对这一问题进行研究,利用复变函数论的方法导出另一形式自相似解的一般表达式。应用该法可以很容易地将所讨论的问题转化为Riemann—Hilbert问题,而后一问题可以用同通常的Muskhelishvili方法求解,并且可以相当简单地得到问题的闭合解。这些解在断裂动力学以及弹性动力学问题当中具有重要的应用价值。  相似文献
