In this paper,we investigate the equilibrium stability of a Filippov-type system having multiple stick regions based upon a smooth and discontinuous(SD) oscillator with dry friction.The sets of equilibrium states of the system are analyzed together with Coulomb friction conditions in both( f_n,f_s) and(x,˙x) planes.In the stability analysis,Lyapunov functions are constructed to derive the instability for the equilibrium set of the hyperbolic type and La Salle's invariance principle is employed to obtain the stability of the nonhyperbolic type.Analysis demonstrates the existence of a thick stable manifold and the interior stability of the hyperbolic equilibrium set due to the attractive sliding mode of the Filippov property,and also shows that the unstable manifolds of the hyperbolic-type are that of the endpoints with their saddle property.Numerical calculations show a good agreement with the theoretical analysis and an excellent efficien y of the approach for equilibrium states in this particular Filippov system.Furthermore,the equilibrium bifurcations are presented to demonstrate the transition between the smooth and the discontinuous regimes.  相似文献

Lindelf’s equation is derived by using the Vakonomic model,which shows that Lindelf’s work coincides with Vakonomic model. Chaplygin’s equation is derived by using Chetaev’s model, which shows that Chaplygin’s work coincides with Chetaev’s model. On basis of these, by improving the expressions of Chaplygin’s equation and Lindelf’s equation, the reasonable transition from Chaplygin’s equation to Lindelf’s equation is realized, the reasonable transition from Lindelf’s equation to Chaplygin’s equation is realized too. Finally, a typical example is given. The work of this paper shows that, just as the Vakonomic model and Chetaev’s model are complementary to each other, Lindelf’s work and Chaplygin’s work are complementary to each other too.  相似文献

As to an autonomous nonlinear system, the stability of the equilibrium state in a sufficiently small neighborhood of the equilibrium state can be determined by eigenvalues of the linear part of the nonlinear system provided that the eigenvalues are not in a critical case. Many methods may be used to detect the stability for a linear system. A lot of researches for determining the stability of a nonlinear system are completed by mathematicians and mechanicians but most of them are methods for the special forms of nonlinear systems. Till now, none of these methods can be conveniently applied to all nonlinear systems. The method introduced by this paper gives the necessary and sufficient conditions of the stability of a nonlinear system. The familiar Krasovski's method is a special case of this method  相似文献

A ratio dependent predator-prey system with Holling type Ⅲ functional response is considered. A sufficient condition of the global asymptotic stability for the positive equilibrium and existence of the limit cycle are given by studying locally asymp- totic stability of the positive equilibrium. The condition under which positive equilibrium is not a hyperbolic equilibrium is investigated using Hopf bifurcation.  相似文献

This paper is denoted to the qualitative analysis of two species predator-prey model with Boiling’s type III functional response. Conditions for the global stability ofnontrivial equilibrium points and conditions for the existence and uniqueness of limit cycles around the positive equilibrium point are obtained. The biological interpretations of these conditions are discussed. The authors believe that the conditions established in this paper are new to literature.  相似文献

In this paper, the definitions of Nielsen’s and Euler’s operators of higher order are presented. These operators are concerned in analysis for systems with holonomic constraints and non-holonomic constraints of higher order. Some theorems that indicating relation between the two operators are established. Moreover, using the theorems, the new equations of mechanical systems with constraints of higher order are derived. Consider a class of Ivlev's type predator-prey dynamic systems with prey and predator both having linear density restricts. By using the qualitative methods of ODE, the global stability of positive equilibrium and existence and uniqueness of non-small amplitude stable limit cycle are obtained. Especially under certain conditions, it shows that existence and uniqueness of non-small amplitude stable limit cycle is equivalent to the local un-stability of positive equilibrium and the local stability of positive equilibrium implies its global stability. That is to say, the global dynamic of the system is entirely determined by the local stability of the positive equilibrium.  相似文献

Spatiotemporal structures arising in two identical cells,which are governed by higher autocatalator kinetics and coupled via diffusive interchange of autocatalyst, are discussed.The stability of the unique homogeneous steady state is obtained by the linearized theory.A necessary condition for bifurcations in spatially non-uniform solutions in uncoupled and coupled systems is given.Further information about Turing pattern solutions near bifurcation points is obtained by weakly nonlinear theory.Finally,the stability of equilibrium points of the amplitude equation is discussed by weakly nonlinear theory,with the bifurcation branches of the weakly coupled system.  相似文献

This article studies the stability of a functionally graded clamped-clamped micro-plate subjected to hydrostatic and electrostatic pressures. Equilibrium positions of the micro-plate are determined and shown in the state control space. To study the stability of the equilibrium positions, the motion trajectories are given for different initial conditions in the phase plane. Effects of the electrostatic and hydrostatic pressure changes on the deflection and stability of the micro-plate for some sample value of k are studied and values of the applied voltage and hydrostatic pressure leading system to unstable conditions by undergoing a saddle node and homoclinic bifurcations are determined.  相似文献

The paradox of destabilization of a conservative or non-conservative system by small dissipation,or Ziegler’s paradox(1952),has stimulated a growing interest in the sensitivity of reversible and Hamiltonian systems with respect to dissipative perturbations.Since the last decade it has been widely accepted that dissipation-induced instabilities are closely related to singularities arising on the stability boundary,associated with Whitney’s umbrella.The first explanation of Ziegler’s paradox was given(much earlier)by Oene Bottema in 1956.The aspects of the mechanics and geometry of dissipation-induced instabilities with an application to rotor dynamics are discussed.  相似文献

A new fuzzy observer for lag synchronization is given in this paper. By investi- gating synchronization of chaotic systems, the structure of drive-response lag synchronization for fuzzy chaos system based on fuzzy observer is proposed. A new lag synchronization criterion is derived using the Lyapunov stability theorem, in which control gains are obtained under the LMI condition. The proposed approach is applied to the well-known Chen's systems. A simulation example is presented to illustrate its effectiveness.  相似文献
