The reconstruction and subsequent particle identification is a challenge in a complex and a high luminosity environment such as those expected in the ATLAS detector at the LHC.The ATLAS software has chosen the object oriented paradigm and has recently migrated much of its software components developed earlier using procedural programming languages.The new software,which emphasizes on the separation between algorthms and data objects,has been successfully integrated in the broader ATLAS framework.We will present a status report of the reconstruction software summarizing the experiences gained in the migration of several software components.We will examine some of the components of the calorimeter software design,which include simulation of real-time detector effects and online environment,and strategies deployed for identification of particles.  相似文献

The effect of substrate doping on the flatband and threshold voltages of a strained-Si/SiGe p metal-oxide semiconductor field-effect transistor(pMOSFET) has been studied.By physically deriving the models of the flatband and threshold voltages,which have been validated by numerical simulation and experimental data,the shift in the plateau from the inversion region to the accumulation region as the substrate doping increases has been explained.The proposed model can provide a valuable reference to the designers of strained-Si devices and has been implemented in software for extracting the parameters of a strained-Si MOSFET.  相似文献

The ZEUS experiment has migrated its reconstruction and analysis farms to a PC-based environment.More than one year of experience has been acquired with successful operation of an analysis farm designed for several hundred users.Specially designed software has been used to proveide fast and reliable access to large amounts of data (30 TB in total),After the ongoing upgrade of the HERA luminosity,higher requirements will arise in terms of data storage capacity and throughput rate,The necessity of a bigger disk cache has led to consideration of solutions based on commodity technology,PC-based file servers are being tested as a cost-effective storage system,In this article we present the hardware and software solutions deplogyed and discuss their performance.scalability and maintenance issues.  相似文献

The resolution and the summing characteristics of an EXOGAM segmented Clover germanium detector has been studied for use it in y spectroscopic experiments. The measurements have been performed with standard radioactive sources of ^152Eu, ^133Ba and β-delayed γ-rays from 176Ir decay. The Monte-Carlo Array Processor(MAP) has been designed using commodity off the shelf (COTS) items to provide the CPU requirements of full event simulation for the LHC experiments.The solution is however completely general,so and CPU intensive application with limited input requirements can be run on the system.Operating control software has been written to manage the data flow oiver the 100 BaseT ethernet connecting the 300 nodes(400 MHz PII‘s) to the 6 master control nodes 700 MHz PIII‘s each with 500Gb of disk),Upgrade to 1000 nodes is plkanned.Job control software that allows the user to run the same job on all nodes,whilst allowing for small differences in initialisation parameters between nodes has also been written.GMAP is the GRID aware MAP control software,This allows remote job preparation and submission using globus toolkit for authentification and communication.The software will be available and opens the possibility for doing massive Monte Carlo production over several remote MAP sites simultaneously.  相似文献

The BES detector has operated for about 12 years,and the BES offline data analysis environment also has been developed and upgraded along with developments of the BES hardware and software.The BESⅢ software system will operate for many years.Thus they should meet developments of the new technology in software,It should be highly flexible,Powerful,stable and easy for maintenance.And following points should be taken into account:1) To benefit the collaboration and make better exchanges with the international HEP experiments this system shoule be set up by adopting or referring the newest technology in the software from advanced experiments in the world.2).It should support hundreds of the existing BES software packages and serve for both old experts who familiar with BESII software and computing environment and new members who is going to benefit from the new system.3).The most BESII existing packages will be modified or re-designed according to the hardware changes.  相似文献

The ALICE Trigger and Data Acquisition (TRG/DAQ) System is required to support an aggregate event building bandwidth of up to 4 GByte/s and a storage capability of up to 1.25 GByte/s to mass storage.The system has been decomposed in a set of hardware and software components and prototypes of these components are being developed.It is necessary to verity the system design,its capability to reach the expected behavior and the target performances,discover possible bottlenecks and ways to correct for them,and explore alternative algorithms and new architectures.To achieve this the complete TRG/DAQ system has been formally specified.and the verification of the expected behavior has been performed through the execution of the specification,Two tools were used for this.Foresight,and Ptolemy.  相似文献

To test superconducting cavities, a vertical test system has been designed and set up at the Institute of Modern Physics (IMP). The system design is based on VCO-PLL hardware and the NI Labview software. The test of the HWR010#2 superconducting cavity shows that the function of this test system is satisfactory for testing the low frequency cavity.  相似文献

A penning plasma surface H- ion source test stand for the CSNS has just been constructed at the IHEP. In order to achieve a safe and reliable system, nearly all devices of the ion source are designed to have the capability of both local and remote operation function. The control system consists of PLCs and EPICS real-time software tools separately serving device control and monitoring, PLC integration and OPI support. 为了提高嵌入式软件的单元测试效率,同时能达到很好的测试效果,针对嵌入式软件制定单元测试充分性准则和单元测试策略,并使用测试工具对嵌入式软件进行单元测试具有实际意义;以浮力调节软件为例,通过研究基于控制流的单元测试充分性准则,结合浮力调节软件的单元测试需求,提出了针对浮力调节软件的单元测试充分性准则;同时,考虑到圈复杂度和函数节点数对函数正确实现的影响,制定了基于优先级的单元测试策略;利用自动化单元测试工具Testbed搭建了浮力调节软件动态测试环境,通过代码覆盖率分析,帮助创建测试用例以达到单元测试充分性要求,从而实现了浮力调节软件单元测试自动化;在自动化测试工具的帮助下,结合单元测试充分性准则和单元测试策略,最终实现严格而高效的单元测试。  相似文献

The electrodynamic screen, or EDS, has shown promising results in mitigation of dust accumulation losses in solar energy harvesting systems. In this paper, the electric field distributions in two EDS configurations have been thoroughly investigated. The analytical solutions for the electric potential and electric field distribution in the first EDS configuration have been provided and corroborated numerically using finite element analysis (FEA) software. The electrostatic model of second EDS configuration has been developed in the FEA software and its electric field distribution has been analyzed numerically. A comparison has been made between the two configurations regarding dust removal efficiency.  相似文献

A new computer controlled equipment for carrier concentration profile determination of silicon structures by a spreading resistance technique is presented. The required data and plots can easily be obtained by means of a new software package, which has been specially developed for this purpose. Measurements have been performed on different structures in order to verify the suitability of both the measuring system and the software package. The reproducibility has been found to be within 5% for the investigated structures.  相似文献

针对目前车载显示单元监测、诊断及维护方式的局限性,通过分析研究,文章提出了一种新型的显示单元诊断维护方案并进行了软件实现。系统软件可以自动对底层程序及应用程序进行监控及故障记录,并能实现故障信息的提取,为设计和维护人员进行故障分析和故障处理提供便利。系统通过以太网进行固件及软件的升级和备份,且支持一键升级,能够极大地提升工作效率;同时,系统开发过程中融入人机工程理念,充分考虑界面美观和交互的便利性;尽量降低软件的耦合度,提高软件的可移植性。  相似文献

针对自动测试软件平台的通用化和智能化,把软件测试中的模型驱动思想应用于硬件自动化测试系统中,提出了通用测试集成环境(GTIE)的概念,并进行了详细研究与设计,包括软件分析、软件设计以及软件实现过程。充分利用了UML思想对整个软件系统进行建模,其中包括软件的功能、静态结构、动态行为等,使软件的开发标准化。所实现的GTIE可有效提高测试程序的开发效率,降低开发成本,并使测试程序具有非常好的通用性。  相似文献

 介绍了上海光源直线加速器499.654MHz次谐波聚束器的物理设计、结构、加工、微波测量和试验、运行等的情况。通过2维、3维电磁软件的数值模拟方法对腔型、结构尺寸、电磁参数、调谐范围进行了优化设计,现该腔已经加工完成,并对其进行了电参数测试,结果与物理设计指标吻合很好。在上海光源的束流指标调试过程中,该腔能长期稳定运行。  相似文献

针对当前大部分超快激光制造系统中存在的三维移动平台控制软件和光学显微镜软件集成化程度低而导致的操作方式繁琐等问题,设计了一种基于LabVIEW软件开发平台的集成化超快激光制造系统控制软件,以实现对超快激光制造系统的高效调控。该系统由飞秒激光器、三维移动平台、在线监测CCD、激光功率计、快门和计算机等六部分构成。设计思路是基于LabVIEW软件平台的多线程编程技术,将飞秒激光束的通断与三维移动平台的移动实现协调控制,采用CCD相机对样品进行对焦和监控加工状态,利用激光功率计对激光功率进行在线监测,并将其集成于同一界面以实现控制。实验证明,与常见超快激光制造系统相比,该系统稳定度高、操作简单、界面简洁、可扩展性强、调节效率高。  相似文献

Based on RPC semantic and agent-oriented software bus, a task-level-parallel Distributed-Object-Computing model has been designed to have complicated numerical analysis and Visualization in Scientific Computing(ViSC) for TWT-CAD, while making use of object-oriented technology and thread-concurrence technology. The ViSC software running on a Windows NT LAN(Local Area Network) for beam-wave interaction of TWTs has been developed in Visual C++, of which software architecture and key technologies are given in the paper.  相似文献
