Abelian-Higgs phase of SU(2) QCD and glueball energy

It is shown that SU(2) QCD admits an dual Abelian-Higgs phase, with a Higgs vacuum of a type-II superconductor. This is done by using a connection decomposition for the gluon field and the random-direction approximation. Using a bag picture with soft wall, we presented a calculational procedure for the glueball energy based on the recent proof for wall-vortices [Nucl. Phys. B 741(2006)1].     

2+1维SU(2)格点规范场胶球质量的无规相近似计算

采用无规相近似(RPA)耦合集团展开方法,用空心图作为试探波函数,利用Feymann-Hellman定理和截断薛定谔方程本征值方程的方法得到的封闭方程组,计算出三到六阶2+1维SU(2)格点规范场的胶球质量.结果显示:当计算进行到六阶时,胶球质量已出现标度窗口和收敛趋势,预示七阶结果将在弱耦合区能表现出良好的标度行为和收敛性     

2+1维SU(2)格点规范场胶球质量及胶球波函数的收敛行为

采用截断本征方程的方法研究2+1维SU（2）格点规范场的胶球质量及胶球波函数．计算结果表明五阶胶球质量△m／e     

3+1维格点规范理论0++和0－－胶球质量

在哈密顿形式下,把无规相近似方法从(2+1)维SU(2)格点规范场推广到3+1维SU(3)格点规范场,利用这种改进的耦合集团展开方法计算3+1维SU(3)的真空波函数和0^－－与0⁺⁺胶球质量之比,得到令人满意的结果:γ=m(0－－)m(0++)=1.8578±0.0506.     

2+1维SU(2)格点规范场胶球波函数的高阶RPA计算

采用无规相近似(RPA)耦合集团展开方法求解薛定谔本征值方程，计算高阶胶球波函数. 在计算中，用空心Wilson圈图作为试探波函数，对特殊Wilson圈图作近似处理，计算出的2+1维SU(2)格点规范场的六阶和七阶胶球波函数的μ0F和μ2F及相关参数z 在弱耦合区(β=4.8-9.6)出现较好的标度行为，七阶真空能量在整个区域(β=0.8-8.0)与六阶真空能量一致.     

Thied—Order Approximation of 0^＋＋ Glueball Mass and Wavefunction of （2＋1）—Dimensional SU（3） Lattice Gauge Theory

The random phase approximation is applied to the coupled-cluster expansions of lattice gauge theory (LGT) Using this method,wavefuctions are approximated by linear combination of graplh consisting of only one connected wilson loop.We study the excited state energy and wavelunction in (2 1)-D SU(3) LGT up to the thired order,The glueball mass shows a good scaling behavior.     

A Lattice Study of the Glueball Spectrum

Glueball Spectrum is studied using an improved gluonic action on asymmetric lattices in the pure SU(3) gauge theory.The smallest spatial lattice spacing is about 0.08 fm which makes the extrapolation to the continuum limit more reliable.In particular.attention is paid to the scalar glueball mass which is known to have problems in the extrapolation.Converting our lattice results to physical units using the scale set by the static quark potential,we obtain the following results for the glueball masses:MG(0 )=1730(90)MeV for the scalar glueball mass and MG(2 )=2400(95)MeV for the tensor glueball.     

Quantum study of Foldy--Wouthuysen--Tani theory on lattice

We study here a quantum version of Foldy--Wouthuysen--Tani (FWT) transformation and compare the similarities and differences between the quantum and the classic FWT theories. Then the improvement of action on lattice is discussed. The result shows that it is not necessary to improve the covariant difference along the time direction on lattice. Finally we discuss briefly the structure of physical vacuum and give a model independent of field condensate.

通过把坡密子与观察到的量子数为 IGJPC=0+2++的同位旋张量介子联系起来的思想, 研究了坡密子的胶子内涵。 有4个由胶子组成的这样的介子都满足坡密子自旋与质量的关系。 这些坡密子的候选者可能是混杂态。 它们其中之一 f2(2 220)介子可能包含着最大的胶子球成分。 阐明了实验上还不清楚的关于这个介子宽度的问题, 并给出了它的理论下限。 也说明为什么这个介子没有在p实验中发现的原因。 We study the gluonic content of the Pomeron through relating the Pomeron trajectory to the observed IGJPC=0+2++ isoscalar tensor mesons. Four of these mesons satisfy the spin mass relation of the Pomeron. These Pomeronian candidates may be hybrid states. One of them, the f2(2 220) meson, can have a predominant glueball component. We address the unsettled experimental situation about the width of this meson and give a theoretical lower bound for it. We also show why this meson has not been seen in p experiments.

在格点上构造计算胶球质量的新途径

发展了一种为了计算胶球质量而构造格点算符的新途径.基于所选用算符的连续极限与状态量子数JPC两者之间的联系,状态的自旋就可以在数值模拟中唯一和直接地被确定下来.进而,这一途径可以被应用于计算任意自旋J的胶球质量.在淬火近似下,给出在SU(3)纯规范场中0⁺⁺态和2⁺⁺态胶球质量的初步结果,它们分别是1754(85)(86)MeV和2417(56)(117)MeV.     

NEW MESON MASS RELATION AND LOWEST PSEUDOSCALAR GLUEBALL MASS

After considering its mixing with the glueball, we give a new mass relation for the meson nonet. According to this mass relation and the predicted mass of the pseudoscalar glueball given by lattice calculations and the effective Hamiltonian, the expected mass of the mixed pseudoscalar glueball is about 1.7 GeV. This result is helpful in the experimental search for the mixed isoscalar pseudoscalar glueball. η(1760) is discussed as a possible candidate for this type of particle.     

Wavefunction and Glueball Masses in QCD:the Three-Dimensional Case

We try to develop a possibly more efficient way for extracting the wavefunction and spectroscopy of pure QCD from discretized Hamiltonian field theory. By further exploring the eigenvalue equation method for solving the Schrödinger equation, we find that within thb approach a more suitable choice of the glueball operators can lead to significantly much better results, therefore more rapid convergence to the continuum limit. This is nicely demonstrated in the three-dimensional example.

Calculation of Vacuum Wavefunction and Mass .Gap from Improved (2+l)-Dimensional SU(2) Lattice Gauge Field Hamiltonian

The truncated eigenvalue equation of SU(N) lattice gauge theory is studied by using improved lattice gauge Hamiltonian with a proper truncation scheme that preserves the continuum limit. The calculations of vacuum state wavefunction and glueball mass of (2+1)-dimensional SU(2) theory up to third order are carried out, the results show the improvement of scaling behavior in deep weak coupling region.

The pomeron in high energy hadron hadron scattering as well as the QCD nature of the pomeron are discussed. We claimed that the pomeron may be the tenser glueball ξ(2 230) with quantum number I G =0 +, J PC =2 ++ . Under this reggeized glueball model the cross section of high energy proton proton scattering and the coupling parameter of the pomeron nucleon, β , are calculated. The theoretical results of the present model are in good agreement with experimental data.

Scalar mesons and glueballs in D_p-D_q hard-wall models

We investigate the light scalar mesons and glueballs in the Dp-Dq hard-wall models, including D3-Dq, D4-Dq, and D6-Dq systems. It is found that only in the D4-D6 and D4-D8 hard-wall models are the predicted masses of the qˉq scalar meson f0 scalar glueball consistent with their experimental or lattice results. This indicates that D4-D6 and D4-D8 hard-wall models are the favorite candidates of the realistic holographic QCD model.
