In this paper a projectile ions recoil ions coincidence technique is employed to investigate the target ionization and projectile charge state changing processes in the collision of 0.22-6.35 MeV Cq^+ (q = 1 - 4) ions with argon atoms. The partial cross section ratios of the double, triple, quadruplicate ionization to the single ionization (or the single capture) of argon associated with single electron loss (or single electron capture) by the projectile are measured and compared with the previous experimental results. In the present experiment, it is observed that the ratios of ionization cross sections R associated with single loss and single capture depend strongly on the projectile charge state and vary significantly with different reaction channels as impact energy increases. In addition, this paper gets empirical scaling laws for the ionization cross section ratios R corresponding to the projectile single loss and finds that the ratios of the double ionization to the single ionization associated with single electron capture remain constant in the present energy range.  相似文献

The interaction between positronium and a helium atom is studied using the 5-body classical trajectory Monte Carlo method. We present the total cross sections for the dominant channels, namely for single ionization of the target, and ionization of the projectile, resulting from pure ionization and also from electron transfer (capture or loss) processes for 1–5.7 a.u. incident velocities of the positronium atom. Our results were compared with the calculated data using hydrogen projectiles having the same velocities as well as with the experimental data in collisions between H and He [R.D. DuBois, Á. Kövér, Phys. Rev. A 40, 3605 (1989)]. We analyze the similarities and deviations for ionization of helium atoms by positronium and hydrogen projectile impact.  相似文献

Our previous work on the classical over-barrier ionization model for helium double ionization is extended to the complex multi-electron system of Ne.The total and q-fold ionization cross sections are calculated at energies ranging from a few tens to several hundred keV/u.The calculation results are in good agreement with the experimental data,and the energy dependence of the cross sections suggests that the multi-ionization of a strong perturbated complex atom is probably the sequential over-barrier ionization process.  相似文献

用DS3C模型计算了入射能为32.5, 36.5, 40.7 eV时电子入射单电离氦原子的二重微分散射截面, 并把计算结果与实验结果进行了比较, 对屏蔽效应进行了分析. 通过对二重微分散射截面在全空间的角度积分得到了电子入射单电离氦原子的单微分散射截面, 利用3C模型和DS3C模型计算了入射能为32.5, 36.5, 40.7, 50 eV时氦原子的单微分散射截面, 并把计算结果与实验结果进行了比较. 对截面的结构进行了分析, 并系统研究了交换效应对截面的贡献. 关键词: DS3C模型 二重微分散射截面 单微分散射截面 屏蔽效应  相似文献

This paper studies the projectile electron loss cross sections of C3+ colliding with atomic hydrogen in the frame work of extended over-barrier model at intermediate velocities (25 keV/u-600 keV/u). The electron loss is calculated in terms of the interaction between the screened target nucleus and the active projectile electron and of the interaction between projectile electron and target electron. Compared with the convergent close-coupling calculations, screening and anti-screening calculations, this model satisfactorily reproduces the experimentally obtained energy dependence of the electron-impact ionisation cross sections and the single electron loss cross sections over the energy range investigated here.  相似文献

利用最新发展起来的适用于低能电子入射的反应显微成像谱仪,对电子轰击He原子近阈值的双电离过程进行了研究,实验测量了反应后4个粒子的全部动量,获得了五重微分截面及出射粒子间的关联信息.着重分析了在入射电子束与出射电子构成的平面内,3个均分系统剩余能量的电子出射角关联关系,并与理论计算进行了比较.研究表明,当两个电子反向出射时,第3个电子垂直于这两个电子动量方向出射的几率最大.在1个电子垂直于平面出射时,通过理论计算结果与平面内出射角分布的比较,发现DS6C理论能够较好地描述实验结果.  相似文献

利用冷靶反冲离子动量谱仪,对低能He2+-He碰撞反应中产生的反冲靶离子和炮弹离子进行了符合测量,根据反冲靶离子的动量,研究了转移电离过程中的电荷转移机理.实验结果表明:在20—40 keV能量范围内,靶原子上的一个电子俘获到炮弹离子的基态,另一个电子直接发射到靶的连续态的直接电离及另一个电子俘获到炮弹离子的连续态的过程(ECC)是最主要的转移电离机理,且ECC过程主要发生在大碰撞参数条件下;炮弹离子俘获两个电子处在双激发态的自电离过程的贡献很小. 关键词: 冷靶反冲离子动量谱仪 转移电离机理 离子原子碰撞  相似文献

We present experimental results for proton ionization of water molecules based on a novel event by event analysis of the different ions produced (and lost). We are able to obtain mass analyzed product ion signals (e.g., H2O+, OH+, O+, O++, H+) in coincidence with the projectile analyzed after the collision, i.e., either being H+, neutral H after single electron capture during the ionization event, or H- after double electron capture. After proper calibration we are thus able to determine a complete set of cross sections for the ionization of a molecular target by protons including the total and the partial cross sections and in addition also the direct ionization and the electron capture cross sections.  相似文献

介绍了对于Na+ 离子和Rb(5s ,5p)原子碰撞中态选择单电子俘获微分截面的理论计算,并与实验数据进行比较,实验结果是离子与在磁光学阱中用激光冷却的碱金属靶原子碰撞而测量到的;还对高能量质子引起的He原子的转移电离进行了理论研究,在Shakeoff模型的基础上 ,分析解释了转移电离截面与单电子俘获截面的比值 ,并与最新实验结果作了比较. We report a theoretical study of state-selective differential single-electron capture cross sections between Na + and Rb(5s, 5p) atoms. The experimental data have been obtained with laser cooled target in a magnetic optical trap. We also report a theoretical study of transfer ionization of He by protons at high collision energies and analyze the transfer ionization cross section with respect to single electron capture cross section in terms of a shakeoff model.  相似文献

Target ionization accompanied with projectile electron loss is investigated for 0.2-7 MeV C^q+ (q = 1 - 4) with He and 0.25-5 MeV O^q+ (q = 1 - 4) with He collisions. For projectile single-electron loss channel, the He double-to-single ionization ratio R is nearly independent of projectile charge state but dependent on the nuclear charge of projectile Zp. The results are analysed with atomic structure qualitatively. So far there have not existed the experimental data comparable with our results, to our knowledge. The ratio R is interpreted in terms of the two-step mechanism. This analysis agrees well with similar experiments in the literature.  相似文献

The impact ionization of atomic hydrogen in collisions with H+, He2+, Li2,3+, C2,3,4,5,6+, N2,3,4,5+, O2,3,4,5,6+, and Ar3,4,5,6+ ions has been studied by the modified over-barrier model at low-to-intermediate velocities. Compared with the calculated results of the classical trajectory Monte Carlo (CTMC) method and the unitarized-distorted-wave approximation (UDWA), this model satisfactorily reproduces the experimentally obtained velocity dependence of the absolute ionization cross sections at intermediate impact velocities.  相似文献

In this Letter, we study charge exchange and energy loss of protons, taking into account the dynamics of both nuclei and electrons during the collision with atomic hydrogen, helium, and neon targets. We obtain the nuclear and electronic contributions to the energy loss as well as the charge exchange probability, and the total cross section for charge exchange. We find a low-energy threshold in the electronic energy loss due to the quantization of excited states. We find that the electronic stopping cross section is not proportional to the velocity of the projectile at very low velocities (energies), as is predicted by electron gas theory.
