针对量子系统的联合消相干模型,可以找到一些不受消相干错误影响的系统状态,这种状态被称为相干保持态,所有相干保持态构成的空间就称为无消相干子空间(decoherencefreesubspace,缩写为DFS).利用DFS的特性可以实现自动容错的量子避错码.首先提出一种DFS的定义,并且以定理的形式证明其他DFS的定义都是等价的.然后给出了DFS的存在性定理.最后利用群论的方法设计一种构造DFS的简单方法 关键词: 相干保持态 无消相干子空间 量子避错码 容错量子计算  相似文献

为了构建高生存性的量子信令网, 基于保真度概念, 提出量子信道生存函数和信令网生存性的概念. 分析光纤和自由空间生存系数, 计算三种消相干机理下有噪量子信道保真度, 给出生存函数测试模型. 仿真分析表明, 通过降低量子态跃迁率, 控制光纤衰减损耗和大气衰减系数, 减小量子态演化时间, 设置量子中继, 可以建立高生存性量子信道, 为量子纠缠信令网标准的制定提供理论基础. 关键词: 量子通信 量子信令网 保真度 生存函数  相似文献

We propose a scheme to achieve quantum gate operations within decoherence-free subspace (DFS) using nitrogen-vacancy centers in separate diamond nanocrystals coupled to a whispering-gallery mode resonator. By virtue of Raman transitions in the dispersive regime, we present two different methods for realizing quantum gating within DFS in a deterministic way. The quantum gating is seriously treated by considering all kinds of decoherence mechanisms, and the experimental feasibility is achieved using currently available technology.  相似文献

The research on decoherence-free subspace has both theoretical and practical significance. DFS is a subspace of quantum system states which is robust against a specific form of decoherence. The method of constructing DFS based algebra, which is different from the way based on the special Bell states, is introduced. Then a three-particle QKD protocol against collective-bit flipping noise is presented according to this method. Finally, we make a security analysis of our protocol.  相似文献

We revisit the protocols to create maximally entangled states between two Josephson junction (33) charge phase qubits coupled to a microwave field in a cavity as a quantum data bus. We analyze a novel mechanism of quantum decoherence due to the adiabatic entanglement between qubits and the data bus, the off-resonance microwave field. We show that even if the variable of the data bus can be adiabatically eliminated, the entanglement between the qubits and data bus remains and can decohere the superposition of two-particle state. Fortunately we can construct a decoherencefree subspace of two-dimension to against this adiabatic decoherence. To carry out the analytic study for this decoherence problem, we develop Frohlich transformation to re-derive the effective Hamiltonian of these systems, which is equivalent to that obtained from the adiabatic elimination approach.  相似文献

A new quantum secure direct communication (QSDC) protocol is proposed by using decoherence free subspace (DFS) to avoid insecurity of the present QSDC protocols in a quantum noise channel. This protocol makes it easily for Bob and Alice to find eavesdropping in channel because the collective dephasing noise disappears in DFS. The probability of successful attack by Eve in this protocol is smaller than in BB84 protocol. Thus this protocol realizes secure QSDC and is feasible with present-day technology.  相似文献

Dynamical evolutions of quantum correlations in circuit quantum electrodynamics (circuit-QED) are investigated under various dissipative modes. The influences of photon number, coupling strength, detuning and relative phase angle on quantum entanglement and quantum discord are compared as well. The results show that quantum discord may be less robust to decoherence than quantum entanglement since the death and revival also appears. Under certain dissipative mode, the decoherence subspace can be formed in circuit-QED due to the cooperative action of vacuum field. Whether a decoherence subspace can be formed not only depends on the form of quantum system but also relates closely to the dissipative mode of environment. One can manipulate decoherence through manipulating the correlation between environments, but the effect depends on the choice of initial quantum states and dissipative modes. Furthermore, we find that proper relative phase of initial quantum state provides one means of suppressing decoherence.  相似文献

Taking into account the main noises in superconducting charge qubits (SCQs), we propose a feasible scheme to realize quantum computing (QC) in a specially-designed decoherence-free subspace (DFS). In our scheme two physical qubits are connected with a common inductance to form a strong coupling subsystem, which acts as a logical qubit. Benefiting from the well-designed DFS, our scheme is helpful to suppress certain decoherence effects.  相似文献

This article reviews the progress of quantum communication that utilizes photonic entanglement. We start with a survey of various methods for generating entangled photons, followed by an introduction of the theoretical principles and the experimental implementations of quantum key distribution. We then move on to a discussion of more involved quantum communication protocols including quantum dense coding, teleportation and quantum communication complexity. After that, we review the progress in free-space quantum communication, decoherence-free subspace, and quantum repeater protocols which are essential ingredients for long-distance quantum communication. Practical realizations of quantum repeaters, which require an interface between photons and quantum memories, are discussed briefly. Finally, we draw concluding remarks considering the technical challenges, and put forward an outlook on further developments of this field.  相似文献

研究利用基于量子跳跃的量子反馈控制来产生三个二能级原子之间稳定的纠缠.考虑三个二能级原子处于一个严重耗散的单模光腔中,分别讨论了反馈作用在一个原子上和反馈同时作用在三个原子上的情况.研究发现:当反馈作用在某个原子上时,基于量子跳跃的量子反馈能够保护另外两个原子的最大纠缠态.当反馈同时作用在三个原子上时,选择合适的参数可以得到两个基矢张开的无消相干子空间,并且利用量子轨迹蒙特卡罗波函数方法,得到一定初始条件下系统最终可以演化到这个子空间中三个原子之间的最大纠缠态.  相似文献

We report an experimental realization of entanglement concentration using two polarization-entangled photon pairs produced by pulsed parametric down-conversion. In the meantime, our setup also provides a proof-in-principle demonstration of a quantum repeater. The quality of our procedure is verified by observing a violation of Bell's inequality by more than 5 standard deviations. The high experimental accuracy achieved in the experiment implies that the requirement of tolerable error rate in multistage realization of quantum repeaters can be fulfilled, hence providing a useful toolbox for quantum communication over large distances.  相似文献

By using a six-qubit cluster state as the quantum channel, we investigat the joint remote state preparation of an arbitrary equatorial two-qubit state. We analytically obtain the fidelities of the joint remote state preparation process in noisy environments, such as the amplitude-damping noise and phase-damping noise. In our scheme, the two different noise including amplitude-damping noise and the phase-damping noise only affect the travel qubits of the quantum channel, and then we show that the fidelities in these two noisy cases only depend on the decoherence noisy rate.  相似文献

A new kind of decoherence in quantum computer memory, called intrinsic decoherence, is investigated in some details, which is caused by discontinuous and stochastic unitary evolution of qubits in quantum computers on a sufficient short time scale. It is found that the intrinsic decoherence leads to quasi-periodic decaying oscillations of the state fidelity of qubits in the time evolution. Schemes to reduce the intrinsic decoherence are proposed.  相似文献

We demonstrate coherent control of two logical qubits encoded in a decoherence free subspace (DFS) of four dipolar-coupled protons in an NMR quantum information processor. A pseudopure fiducial state is created in the DFS, and a unitary logical qubit entangling operator evolves the system to a logical Bell state. The four-spin molecule is partially aligned by a liquid crystal solvent, which introduces strong dipolar couplings among the spins. Although the system Hamiltonian is never fully specified, we demonstrate high fidelity control over the logical degrees of freedom. In fact, the DFS encoding leads to higher fidelity control than is available in the full four-spin Hilbert space.  相似文献

We present a scheme for implementing a three-qubit phase gate via manipulating rf superconducting quantum interference device (SQUID) qubits in the decoherence-free subspace with respect to cavity decay. Through appropriate changes of the coupling constants between rf SQUIDs and cavity, the scheme can be realized only in one step. Construction of optimal gate operations is significant for quantum computation. Here an efficient scheme is proposed for performing shortcut-based quantum gates on superconducting qubits in circuit quantum electrodynamics (QED). Two four-level artificial atoms of Cooper-pair box circuits, having sufficient level anharmonicity, are placed in a common quantized field of circuit QED and are driven by individual classical microwaves. Without the effect of cross resonance, one-qubit NOT gate and phase gate in a decoupled atom can be implemented using the invariant-based shortcuts to adiabaticity. With the assistance of cavity bus, a one-step SWAP gate can be obtained within a composite qubit-photon-qubit system by inversely engineering the classical drivings. We further consider the gate realizations by adjusting the microwave fields. With the accessible decoherence rates, the shortcut-based gates have high fidelities. The present strategy could offer a promising route towards fast and robust quantum computation with superconducting circuits experimentally.  相似文献
